EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL…read more The owners of this studio HAD been very accepting of my child who had just begun taking taekwondo lessons for the first couple of weeks, but the sparring equipment that they supplied continuously fell off and was poor quality, but I figured "whatever, they're supplying it for free". I noticed a lot of the other kids had their own sparring equipment so I asked another parent and she told me I could order it off Amazon. I ordered new wrist and shinguards off of Amazon but I figured I could continue using the body guards that they already had because it rarely came loose. When I brought my kid back the next lesson, they owner sat all of the kids down and went on a long rant about how rude it was to buy equipment online and not through them, and how it was disrespectful to continue using the other equipment that they provided. My kid was really upset because they were obviously being singled out, and it wasn't even their fault! I didn't even know that they sold equipment, and I just couldn't keep using the cheap and old equipment that they had provided since it was affecting my kid's ability to spar. That being said, if they had a problem with how I spent MY money they should've talked to me privately! Not yell at my child in front of the whole class! Horrible experience, we are never going back.

They did a great job coaching the students through the public performance and the students were poised and confident and seemed to have a great time as well. It felt that all that mostly their top priority was money. They weren't advancing anymore and not having fun. Their program had changed where they were going to take longer to become a black belt but having to pay for more classes. We came here in hopes that our kids did not lose their interest in finishing with their black belt journey and the instructor sensei Jose assured us that they'd have fun in his school and learn plenty of different things. They've been here now for a year and love this place. They even went camping with them for a few days, something that they didn't do at their other school because they didn't want to and also because they were very expensive. I'm glad that they could continue on. It's always for the kids not for the money. One extra thing I wanted to add. I asked sensei Jose if my kids left and went somewhere else and then decided to come back, would he take them back. He said, "yes, they'll always be my kids, would you turn your back on yours?"
