Found out about this place from an Instagram ad and wanted to get myself a little birthday souvenir for my first time in Kailua-Kona. They were out of both the denim passport and the red & denim zipper bag (gah, I happened to like their most popular options). I opted for a cute sky blue round drawstring bag and seven patches. I believe they varied between $3-$7. My total came out to close to $60. Objectively, expensive, but it's a customized souvenir. I love my new bag, it's so cute! I would recommend they have a packaged discount. It would help with upselling more patches and making it for affordable for those who do want to have a bundle.

The most unique and cute store I found in Kona! Getting to make personal items using all kinds of cool patches was a lot of fun. My kids and I were visiting from Oregon and just kept coming back the week we were there! The owner and employees were super helpful and quick to answer questions. I would love to see some trucker hats brought in but understand it's a bit of a challenge due to the material required to iron on a patch. But who doesn't need a hat in Hawaii?!? Such a great spot and you should def check it out.

Excuse the nighttime lighting but matching personalized souvenirs with the bestie!

What a unique way to make personalized Kona souvenirs! There's a wide variety of items and patches to choose from and the quality of these handmade items are top notch. Really helpful and friendly service that made the whole experience so fun. I know this will be something I'll keep loving more and more as time passes!

Amazing experience! I loved the patches, super fun and customizable! And the owner was super helpful and nice!

Letter patches of various sizes and colors.

This is the coolest embroidery and patch shop ever! There's a wide range of products you can have patches or embroidery added. We went with the half sized lanyard keychains, a pouch and a bunny keychain. This shop is worth your time and everything is one of a kind and customized. The owner Jay is so kind and helpful. Highly, highly recommend this store!!!

Nice shopping center filled with affordable shops. There's a store called Island Gourmet which is…read moreequivalent to ANC stores. Fun for family and friends to get together. There's a shopping trolley stop which is $2 each trip so that can get you from Queens to Kings marketplace easily. Shops are on the high end side, if that is the case then they need to accommodate with high end convenience from restaurants to restrooms. IGM (Island Gourmet Marketplace) needs a little more seating area outside. I spent a lot of money on my family and wanted to eat there so we can finish shopping after we were done eating. No table, no seats but 3 for a family of 7. We left afterwards instead of shopping because the heat made it uncomfortable and with no seating for 4 it was just a downward spiral with fussy kids. It's ok, we spent our money in Kona town.

If Google let me give negative stars, I'd still ask for more…read more I'm always fair when I post reviews -- I'm not out here trying to ruin anyone's childhood dreams. But good grief, this business has the reliability of a toddler with a sugar crash. I drove a long distance to visit this shop. My partner drove here twice. And every time the place was closed during normal business hours. No sign. No explanation. Not even a sad little sticky note that says, "Oops, my bad." The owner even had the lack of integrity to tell my partner that she would be there today. Hilarious. At this point, I'm convinced the shop is run like a speakeasy: If you know, you know. If you don't, well... good luck, traveler. So, I asked around town. Turns out, the locals know exactly what's going on: Apparently the shop owner is... how do I put this delicately... the human equivalent of a mosquito at a barbecue. Everyone I talked to implied they wish she'd just let someone else take over -- someone who actually wants customers instead of treating them like an optional side quest. You'd think a business owner would occasionally... I don't know... open the business? But no. She's running this place like a part-time hobby she actively resents. And the lack of communication? Chef's kiss. She doesn't even bother to explain why she's never open. At this point, I half expect the shop hours to eventually read: OPEN: When the stars align CLOSED: Always MAYBE: If Mercury is in retrograde AND she feels like it To say she's giving the town a bad reputation is an understatement. This shop is basically the retail equivalent of stepping in gum. Sticky, annoying, and somehow still your problem even though you didn't ask for it. I won't be back. Ever. And you can bet I'll be telling this story everywhere -- Yelp, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, the back of cereal boxes, cave walls... whatever it takes. This store owner isn't just unprofessional -- she's a full-on case study in how not to run a business. Honestly, at this point, a tumbleweed would be a more reliable proprietor.

Spoke to owner on Friday and she apologized and said she was out of town. I asked if she would be open next day on Saturday and she assured me, yes, will be here at 10am. Drove over from Waimea at 12 pm on Saturday and again closed with no sign and no reason on recording. Walked around and spoke to local residents who said, yeah, haven't seen her, she kind of comes in when she wants to. So I decided, no more. Very unprofessional. Will NOT shop here again. Instead went to Waipio Valley Artworks where staff was very friendly and helpful.... And was actually there at the time stated for hours of operation. What a concept, huh?
