**Pacific Life Insurance Review: A Masterclass in Corporate Arrogance and Unprofessionalism**…read more As a law enforcement officer with over two decades of service, I've developed a finely tuned sense for when someone--or some *entity*--is overreaching and abusing authority. I recently began exploring supplemental life insurance options beyond my agency's underwhelming offerings. On Tuesday, July 14th, after inquiring through Zander Insurance, a Pacific Life agent contacted me. What followed was not a professional consultation but a textbook example of why this company deserves every bit of skepticism it receives. I have zero hesitation providing a complete medical history from birth to my current age of 41. Transparency in underwriting is reasonable. What is *not* reasonable--and what I find profoundly insulting--is the company's demand for exhaustive financial disclosure: bank statements, home details, full financial history, driving records, and essentially every scrap of personal data short of my DNA profile. Pacific Life apparently believes that because they are a "big player," customers should simply surrender their entire lives for inspection, waiving privacy rights so their bureaucrats can paw through documents like probation officers with a search warrant. Let me be perfectly clear, as only a law enforcement professional can: There is a categorical difference between providing sensitive information to legitimate governmental authority under strict legal protocols and handing it over to a profit-driven insurance company on a fishing expedition. The condescension dripping from their process is staggering. They offered no coherent explanation for why my full financial life needed to be exposed beyond vague mutterings about "underwriting rules." A basic credit check to flag bankruptcies or fraud risks? Understandable. Demanding my entire financial portfolio like I'm applying for a classified clearance? That's not due diligence; that's entitlement wrapped in corporate jargon. Other reputable providers I spoke with had no such invasive requirements. Yet Pacific Life couldn't even articulate a legitimate purpose. Instead, they simply expected compliance. How delightfully arrogant. No wonder this company maintains its supposedly "high ratings"--those metrics likely reflect balance-sheet stability built on collecting premiums from people who don't push back, not on customer respect or service quality. The agent interaction itself was a farce. Repeated requests to spell my address, restate my employment details, and clarify basic information--multiple times--while children played audibly in the background. If you're going to cold-call potential clients, at minimum secure a quiet professional environment. Asking a customer to repeat themselves three or four times because you can't hear over the chaos is not only unprofessional; it's disrespectful of the client's time and intelligence. I was in a controlled, quiet setting. The least one might expect is reciprocity. In short, Pacific Life exemplifies everything wrong with certain corners of the insurance industry: invasive overreach masquerading as standard procedure, paired with sloppy execution. I terminated the conversation immediately and will never consider them again. Law enforcement professionals--and anyone who values their privacy and dignity--would do well to look elsewhere. There are better options that treat customers as partners rather than suspects whose lives must be laid bare for corporate convenience. **Strongly recommend avoiding. Zero stars.**

I had reached out…read moreto several companies while shopping for quotes on multiple policies, and most of them wanted me to jump through hoops by filling out endless forms. It felt like they were making me do all the work just to give me an estimate. Travis took a completely different approach. He simply asked for my existing declaration pages, reviewed them, and came back with clear, straightforward feedback. Instead of trying to push me into switching, Travis told me that my current policies and pricing were already very competitive and recommended I stay with what I had. That level of honesty and professionalism stood out immediately, especially compared to others I spoke with. He also went a step further by pointing out one specific adjustment I could make to improve my coverage. That advice was thoughtful, practical, and focused on what would actually benefit me, not him. The process was fast and efficient, which I greatly appreciated. Travis respected my time and made sure every conversation was productive. He was direct when it mattered, but also patient in explaining the details so I could understand exactly what my options were. His knowledge of the industry was obvious, and his ability to translate that into meaningful guidance gave me confidence that I was making the right decisions. Insurance can feel complex, but Travis made it simple. He combined expertise with genuine integrity, which is rare to find. Based on my experience, I can confidently recommend talking to Travis at Purely Insurance if you are considering your options. Having an expert who is both highly honest and professional makes all the difference, and Travis proved to be exactly that.

Zach was one of the first people to call and honestly I was impressed with the enthusiasm and his ability to do most of the work. Yes, I compared other policies, but CHOICE+ not only was the leader in the coverage I needed, but the leader in more coverage for less money. My ALLSTATE rep is a personal friend but when it comes down to business which means dollars, relationships take a back seat+ ...and I needed coverage on the large commercial vehicle I purchased...simple. When so many agencies said "no", Zach said I'll email your new policies tomorrow.

I just got back to work after not being able to work for two months due to covid…read more I shopped all around and talked to several different insurance companies that work with dog groomers.(btw they are in Kahootz with several other insurance companies, but hid that knowledge from me- so a great deal of that research was wasted time because I was looking for quotes and services from what I thought were different companies) I was aware that I needed a special insurance that covers my van, bailee insurance for the dog, and would cover loss of wages if my van was out of commission for whatever reason. Well- my Van gets damaged and needs to be in the shop for two weeks. "It's ok-" I tell my partner.. "Zach Davis assured me that we're covered" Wrong! Apparently, Zach hooked me up with an insurance that would only cover my loss of wages if I was to incur damage at my address! If you can't understand the irony in this: I'm a mobile dog groomer- my house could burn to the ground and it would not affect my work.. Here is how I was mistreated: 1. I was tricked into thinking that several different looking insurance companies were all different, but found out later that they all work together- effectively wasting my time. 2. I was mislead into getting insurance that can't come anywhere close to helping me in the real world situation that I am now in. 3. Once I pointed this out, I got a quick "sorry you feel that way" and no wanting to make things right, just a suggestion to go somewhere else. (Keep in mind I lost two weeks of pay that I was just expecting would keep me above water after being down for two months.) 3. They refused refund the money that I have been exchanging for a worthless insurance after I cancelled-their reason for this is that If another claim was made, they would have to respond to claim if something was to arise when the policy was in place... I can sign a paper stating that no other claim will be made-then can I have back my stolen money?! I hope you all take this to heart and at least get a lawyer to read whatever the entity of - choice plus/the hartford/Pet careinsurance/pet biz insurance, etc. -wants you to sign Screwed over mobile dog groomer, Adam French
