I obtained workmans comp insurance with the help of Kaidin at a reasonable price. He was quick to respond and had a quote for me quickly.

I usually don't like to give negative reviews. However, I feel the company doesn't respect the time of new/potential clients. While I understand the challenges in insurance sales, especially in California, Great Park could've communicated that they're not accepting new clients. Instead, they sent me forms, I wasted my time filling out those forms. A day later, I received a response that they have no providers for auto and/or home. I had a sizable policy, regardless, this should've been communicate from the start. I'm upset they asked me to complete forms knowing they can't offer anything. But I guess collecting leads is more important to them even if it means a poor customer experience. My recommendation, look elsewhere. They can't offer anything to you. read more

Read the recent reviews on Google and Yelp. You'll notice there are low ratings complaining about this company being shady and poorly managed. That is what my review is about too. Great Park insurance and Jordan M have caused me lots of headache and paperwork due to their mistakes. As of now they (Jordan) have stopped responding to me. I was fooled by the old 5-star reviews. They were helpful and responsive when I was stinging up and paying them and ignored me when I wanted to cancel. Reading the owner's responses to poor ratings is sad. He doesn't seem to read the details of the reviewer's experience to improve his company. Instead he replies back with what seems to be short, copy pasted and snarky responses. read more

As a current client for a very long time (about when Daniel started the place) I've had zero luck getting anyone to answer the phone here. I need to cancel our policies and all calls just go to voicemail. Every email I have for them bounces back. I have 4 polices I need to cancel and I've lost track of how many times I've called. They used to be super responsive when starting the agency and hands on. Seems they've grown so much, they just don't answer the phone. Go figure. read more

Contacted Great Park Insurance (GPI) a calendar week+ before my auto insurance was to expire and a month+ before my homeowners. Filled out their lengthy questionnaire online (no legal disclosures on how the data was going to used nor shared so I'm expecting tons of junk as they sell it on to other companies, yey!) and provided copies of my existing insurance policies for home and auto which basically has the same information in the questionnaire. Anyways, long story short, after chasing GPI for a response received a quote for Mercury insurance (apparently the only company they work with when bundling home and auto) 8 hours after my existing auto insurance had expired! Thankfully I had already done my own research and online requests for quotes from many of the companies and signed up with Progressive before it expired for less than Mercury quoted through GPI. Homeowners quote from GPI was incomplete as did not include earthquake nor jewelry coverage as my existing policy showed. I had high expectations based on the reviews here but leave disappointed as I don't know what the value in working with GPI is in my scenario if they only reached out to Mercury insurance. I found better coverage/rates on my own elsewhere with very little effort. It pays to do your own homework! read more

I'm going to have to agree with Hannah L. As my experience had been pretty similar. I'm not entirely sure what happened but when we first bought our policies we felt very taken care of. Daniel was responsive and professional. We felt like we were in good hands. The post purchase experience though has been the complete opposite. There is little to no consideration for our business ever since we purchased our policies. Nobody has ever checked in with us despite us being told that the team would review our needs annually. In fact when I reached out to ask about this they sounded surprised and essentially said "yeah mercury is still cheaper". This time around I reached out due to our earthquake coverage provider no longer operating in CA. I received a notice from a new company for a policy that was substantially more expensive for less coverage. I called great park and was told since there was more than 30 days until expiration that they can't pull a quote. No problem, they would pull it on 7/1 and I would hear back. I'm now a week out from policy expiration and have never heard back. I call the office and get an answering machine. Daniel, what happened? Our account managers have changed multiple times since we've done business. Yet nobody seems to actually proactively manage our account. You seem to respond to folks asking them to reach out to you directly but to be frank I'm a little fed up with feeling like we have to initiate all contact. Can your team just be accountable and follow through? Is that not the minimum expectation to have in this type of professional relationship? I really do hope we can turn this around but judging by the sheer number of reviews here it seems that perhaps Great Park is no longer the small business in support of a community but rather no different than any other corporate entity seeking profits over relationships. read more

Jerome did a great job identifying insurance options for us. We previously had State Farm and though we were renewed with minimum cost increase, we still wanted to look for other options since State Farm doesn't provide umbrella insurance. We had a quick call with Jerome, he sent over some documents to fill out and found us some great options to cover a full suite of coverage for our household. This company does not care for or respect their customers. I received an email this morning reminding me about paying the premium for my Homeowners Renewal. I responded back asking to see the new policy documents. I then received the following response " I am reaching out to inform you Progressive has issued a notice of non-renewal effective 9/16/24 for your above property as we are no longer appointed with them. Due to current market conditions - we would not be able to rewrite your current renter's insurance due to not having any open markets. We understand that securing insurance is crucial. While our current carrier was unable to accommodate your needs, we remain hopeful that you will be able to obtain coverage elsewhere. " Now I am left with 2 weeks to try and find coverage in a market that is already incredibly difficult to find coverage. They have horrible customer service skills and since they knew they would not be able to collect any money from me as they could not find replacement coverage they decided to not deal with me at all. Do yourself a favor and find a different insurance company/agent. read more

He would also call me when quotes did NOT work out. So I know that he was spending time and energy on my case. I've given 2 stars because the initial call with the agent was really helpful, otherwise this would be 1 star review. The insurance agent, Jordan, reached out to me and provided a list of options and really great information on them and his honest opinion of what I should do next. It was a useful call and I told him that I would need 1-2 months to look over all of my options and think about what to do. He agreed and we hung up. Since then, for the next couple of weeks, I've been getting nonstop emails and texts from Jordan about my coverage. Which is bizarre because we literally had a discussion about how I would reach out to him by December? I've sent back that I still need time to think and to stop messaging me and I still get hit with these messages. It's SO ANNOYING. It's worse than email advertisements because there's no unsubscribe option. I've had to report spam and block their numbers and emails. At least it made my decision of NOT using their coverage easier. read more
