All of it was a little bit of a stretch in the health benefits side I think, but I sure as hell get super relaxed at the end! In between the sessions I used a full-body massage chair they had as well. My spray tan was ok. They provided these nifty stick feet so your soles don't look like Saturn. There were two spray tans to pick from. I got the affordable one, and the pigment was just a lot more orange than I prefer. The voice in the booth was also super low volume so I panicked that the session would turn into a Friends episode, the one where Ross gets a tan but I survived. Cleanliness was good! Would've been great if they had a personal storage locker and offered robes at the beginning. I think it would've been helpful for the staff to outline your schedule before you start the day. It was a little confusing not knowing where to go next, etc. Overall great experience, if I lived there I would definitely revisit!

(when I signed up, this was never mentioned to me-- I figured you could use any location. So it just would have been nice to know this) There was not any sort of accommodations offered. I understand things happen especially in the Covid world we live in, but this is no way to run a business. I made an appointment on Wednesday April 28th at 2:15 pm as I was leaving a tanning session for the next day. Thursday at 9am as this is what fit best with my work schedule. I arrive at 9am. Lights out. Not open for business. I wait as long I can to not interfere with myself being late for work but ultimately had to leave without using the salon. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but this leaves me in a position of paying for a service that I am unable to use at no fault of my own. When is someone going to hold this place to a standard ? Doesn't matter. I won't be around as a customer to find out. I can and will take my business elsewhere. I suggest you hike it across town too if you don't want to waste your money.

This Planet Beach is very clean and I know that the new owner has started remodeling some of it to give it a more 'spa-like' feel. On some nights, they even have wine and cheese trays available for customers to snack on as they wait. As far as pricing goes, this Planet Beach is the most reasonable in the city (maybe even the state). What some people pay for a single spray tan or spa service at other places, I pay for a month's worth here. I honestly don't know how they stay in business! I've done this twice, and both times the two different women were incredibly nice, professional and made my birthday suit feel more like a bathing suit. They tailor your color to your natural undertones (the recipe above is my own concoction) and save it in their system for the next time you want to be a bronze beauty without the bad side effects. They also give you tips on how to to keep your glow longer. This isn't a permanent fix for your entire summer, so do it more so for a special event. Also...no spray tan is going to look 100% natural, but spending a few more bucks on the professionals at Fini is absolutely worth it over the automatic spray tanning beds. Their boutique is also ridiculously cute. Think Magazine or Maple Street boutique but without the pain of trying to find a parking spot. Word to the wise though, it's off of Harrison on General Diaz. The street looks like an earthquake rocked it so be wary if you're trying to go there on a rainy day. That hole will fill up like a bath tub. But once you're in there, you'll see they have really great belts, unique jewelry and a wide sales rack, and sometimes if you're lucky, they've popped a bottle of champagne to enjoy!
