But when I went into Moorpark Produce I couldn't believe the SUPER GOUGE prices. I needed some milk, and DID NOT SEE a price tag. Like a percentage of us, I did not look at the price before I casually (habitually) used my phone to pay electronically. When I got home, I noticed that a half gallon was FIVE CLAMS. Thats about 2.8 times Ralph's price for the half gallon. I could have bought Ralph's FULL GALLON for only $4. I felt like such an idiot for not checking the price. I would have left the milk right at the check stand. Not worth the effort to go return the unopened container. But I DID call them and let them know why I'm not going back there. Price gouging may bring some more profits, but I feel in the long run creates a loss of customers and wasted food, from what doesn't sell. The store should be embarrassed. GUESS WHERE I'M NOT SHOPPING!

I ordered the spicy beef salad while my husband went with the pad Thai. This was hands down thee best beef salad I've ever had!! The beef was cooked to perfection, nice and tender and fresh. The spice level humbled me; it tasted so good but I couldn't finish it because my tongue was on fire. I ended up taking the rest home with me even tho it obviously got soggy later. My husband loved his noodles too and considers this the best Thai restaurant he's ever been to. We highly recommend this place. The restaurant itself is small, but it's cozy and comfortable. We're hoping it sticks around for a long time, and that they keep the quality of their food this high.

My now husband and I really wanted to serve authentic but elevated Mexican food, and I came across Las Casuelas website while searching for vendors and was immediately drawn to the beautiful Mexican pottery they use in their buffet lines. I reached out to Cynthia and she promptly responded, and we jumped on the phone and talked for over an hour. I just immediately felt a warm connection with her and felt very confident in her ability to cater our wedding - which at 125 people, is no feat! Cynthia came to our house to do a tasting and food was phenomenal. We were so impressed and also felt so comfortable with Cynthia and her team that we decided to lock everything in the next day. Wedding planning is stressful and Cynthia and Las Casuelas jumped in to handle the bar, appetizers, a full buffet dinner, and dessert room for us. They also set up our table decor and ensured every element was aligned with our vision. I can't say enough how incredible it all was - sadly we didn't get very many photos of the food, but we are still getting compliments of how fresh and delicious it was! I can't wait to hire Las Casuelas again - I'm already trying to figure out when we can throw another party so we can work with them again! In addition, Cynthia herself is such a smart, confident, warm, and creative individual. It was such a help to have her especially in the final weeks and days. One example that really stood out was she knew that we wanted to use Mexican number tiles for our table numbers and she reached out one morning letting us know she had just happened upon a tile shop in Mexico and sent us photos and videos of all of the options, and ended up purchasing those for us there! When I arrived I asked the server for water, they had a pitcher of water I asked is that filtered or bottled, he responded no it's tap. I looked at my contract and it said water provided. Prior to this I asked if he supplied bottled water he said yes. As the party went on, I started noticing many things he said he would provide were not there No mini muffins Only 2 bialys I paid for a Bloody Mary set up, he had Bloody Mary mix, however there were no lemons, celery, olives for the drinks, these were listed in my contract. My granddaughter had to go to the store and miss a good part of the shower to go purchase all of the missing items I texted him several times about this without any response I told his worker to call him about this because he was not responding He finally responded being very rude and after I explained all the things wrong, he told me he would only take $30 off my bill. He was not apologetic at all, instead it seemed as if he was annoyed. I spent much more than $30 along with the inconvenience of my granddaughter having to go to the store and more importantly missing a portion of her aunts shower I would not recommend him at all He does not care about his customers.
