The guy working there had a funny shirt. Shakes are very protein forward, but the taste kinda grows on you. The blue berry muffin shake almost taste like one if you close your eyes and imagine.

This is our go to spot to get the day started right! Energizing teas and tasty smoothies, you can't go wrong. Plus the staff is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.

This place aesthetically looks great for an Herbalife shop. There's less lime green, i love it! The male employee making the drink was friendly. I also met the owner. She's was welcoming, but at the same time made me feel a little dismissed. They did not have my drink on the menu, which i thought would have been the standard at all Herbalife shops. BUT they were very accommodating and said they would try to make it (& the owner also mentioned she had a lot more drink recipes on the side). When i got the shake, it was only full up to the brim of the cup, i felt it was a waste of a dome lid. I tried to drink it all, but i tossed it halfway because i could not stand the chalky taste anymore. I think if shops do not know how to make a drink, they shouldn't make it because it risks the customers satisfaction and their money. I'll probably visit this establishment again, but will only stick to their on-menu items.

Best protein shakes in Simi Valley. I love and recommend the Cherry Vanilla Almond Oatmeal / Peanutbutter Cookie & the Blueberry Muffin. Also there Turbo teas are delicious and give you great energy and hydrate you, i personally like the Ocean Breeze!!

I love the healthy smoothies here. I come here for a Low sugar healthy breakfast. The 25 grams of protein in the shakes keep me full til lunch! Cherry Vanilla Almond Oatmeal is super good! The staff is always nice, helpful, and informative.

I get the cherry oatmeal shake. I use to get their tea, shot, and shake. BUT the teas that they have are honestly really bland. The shot I'm guaranteeing does nothing. They try to explain the health benefits. There really isn't any. It's just a waste. If you buy just the shake that's already $8. You can get a large shake at jamba for $5-6. The shakes here are extremely powdery and most of them are grainy. I only come for my cherry oatmeal and when I do, I know I'm splurging. Overall it is extremely over priced, doesn't taste worth it, BUT the staff is nice. I typically come in, get my shake, pay, and leave. Most of the staff are nice and will greet you while others don't. Side note: every time I come in. They're always on their phone.

The Core sells protein bars also!

It also features exhibits covering significant periods of American history. A section of the library highlights President Reagan's role in promoting freedom through his opposition to the Soviet Union, communism, and terrorism. This is an excellent destination for a family outing, with engaging, hands-on exhibits for both children and adults. The cafeteria serves meals that are a step above typical fast-food fare. Even if you are not hungry, it is worth stopping in for a glass of water and taking in the beautiful views. Whether you are a history enthusiast or believe that authoritarianism and other threats to freedom are once again on the rise, this library is well worth a visit. Located in the Simi Hills, the library offers stunning panoramic views of Simi Valley and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Then, many other buildings are also tucked into the areas behind the museum, so it is indeed much larger than I expected! The day I was here, they were setting up for a conference (2026 Reagan National Economic Forum), a few days off, so tons of white tents, stages, and chairs were all over - ruined some great photo opportunities! I couldn't even see the F-14 and the Abrams tank out back until I was between the many tents, but on a normal day, it would be easier to approach them. The entrance is at the back of the entrance courtyard, and I strongly suggest you get the audio tour! It fills in many gaps in the display signage (which, strangely for me, was often hard to read - lighting? Not enough contrast between text and background? Type size?). Most displays had a number that you accessed on the device, which was itself easy to use. But be aware - before you turn in your device at the bookstore or entrance desk, go outside to the back, where the Berlin Wall segment, the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, and the Reagan memorial site are; there are several displays out there with audio guide numbers, but I had already turned in my device, not knowing this. The America 250 "special exhibit," which had opened the week before, was worth the extra admission fee. Many wonderful, old artifacts, many from the 1700s and 1800s, that really bring you face to face with various periods of the nation's birth and growth. There is even a lower floor to that exhibit space, with large paintings in terms of size and grandeur, along with many displays of items such as vintage flags, rifles of all types from eras gone by, historical documents, garments and uniforms, and much more. Overall, rather than repeating many other reviews here, I will point out that you should set aside a day here to ensure you have enough time to visit and read all the displays you can. There was a ton of new information I never knew about Reagan! And one of my favorite aspects was the many quotes of his placed throughout the museum. So many were beautiful for their principles and what we - and America - are called to do in life. In these times, to hear these words from an iconic Republican president truly struck me in ways I had not anticipated. The Air Force One display, of course, is also cool. And the helicopter, Marin One! And the various vehicles, including an authentic "beast" (If I remember the nickname properly) and a Secret Service chase vehicle. There is also on the floor above the vehicles a history of the Secret Service, and on the ground floor, a mural depicting all of the planes in history that have officially flown a president. The pub in the hangar was closed, but you could peek at it from above. Much history, many beautiful displays in the special "America 250" exhibit, and the outdoor F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter, M1 Abrams tank, and F-14 are must-sees, but you need to find them! May have to ask directions to them. And of course, the Oval Office is different as well. This one is subtle, designed like a comfortable ranch living room with western desert color themes, and it is always fun to step into the office and imagine the conversations that happened there. And the jellybeans! They, too, are there. If you have a day in or near north LA or Simi Valley itself, give it a visit.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

My mom purchased a cabbage and, after bringing it home, discovered that it was rotten all the way to the core. Only a day had passed since the purchase, so she returned to the market with both the spoiled cabbage and her receipt, expecting to receive a refund and purchase a replacement. Instead, she was asked to wait for nearly 30 minutes while an employee reviewed CCTV footage to verify that she had purchased the cabbage.. even though she had already provided her receipt. After reviewing the footage, the employee accused her of using part of the cabbage because it appeared smaller than the one shown on camera. My mom explained that she had removed the outer layers to determine whether the rot extended to the center, which it did. Logically.. why would she use a spoiled cabbage?! Despite this explanation, the employee refused to believe her and denied the refund. What should have been a simple and straightforward customer service issue became an unnecessarily rude and humiliating experience. After years of shopping here, we are extremely disappointed by how she was treated. Because of this experience, we will no longer be returning as customers.
