The guy working there had a funny shirt. Shakes are very protein forward, but the taste kinda grows on you. The blue berry muffin shake almost taste like one if you close your eyes and imagine.

This is our go to spot to get the day started right! Energizing teas and tasty smoothies, you can't go wrong. Plus the staff is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.

This place aesthetically looks great for an Herbalife shop. There's less lime green, i love it! The male employee making the drink was friendly. I also met the owner. She's was welcoming, but at the same time made me feel a little dismissed. They did not have my drink on the menu, which i thought would have been the standard at all Herbalife shops. BUT they were very accommodating and said they would try to make it (& the owner also mentioned she had a lot more drink recipes on the side). When i got the shake, it was only full up to the brim of the cup, i felt it was a waste of a dome lid. I tried to drink it all, but i tossed it halfway because i could not stand the chalky taste anymore. I think if shops do not know how to make a drink, they shouldn't make it because it risks the customers satisfaction and their money. I'll probably visit this establishment again, but will only stick to their on-menu items.

Best protein shakes in Simi Valley. I love and recommend the Cherry Vanilla Almond Oatmeal / Peanutbutter Cookie & the Blueberry Muffin. Also there Turbo teas are delicious and give you great energy and hydrate you, i personally like the Ocean Breeze!!

I love the healthy smoothies here. I come here for a Low sugar healthy breakfast. The 25 grams of protein in the shakes keep me full til lunch! Cherry Vanilla Almond Oatmeal is super good! The staff is always nice, helpful, and informative.

I get the cherry oatmeal shake. I use to get their tea, shot, and shake. BUT the teas that they have are honestly really bland. The shot I'm guaranteeing does nothing. They try to explain the health benefits. There really isn't any. It's just a waste. If you buy just the shake that's already $8. You can get a large shake at jamba for $5-6. The shakes here are extremely powdery and most of them are grainy. I only come for my cherry oatmeal and when I do, I know I'm splurging. Overall it is extremely over priced, doesn't taste worth it, BUT the staff is nice. I typically come in, get my shake, pay, and leave. Most of the staff are nice and will greet you while others don't. Side note: every time I come in. They're always on their phone.

The Core sells protein bars also!

I helped do the silent auction where there was several different pieces that were auctioned off during the event. The staff did a phenomenal job. It was $190 per person for the meal and it was all catered and cooked by the staff here at the location portable bars were set up throughout the venue. So I just want to thank the staff for doing a great job in coordinating and supporting and doing this event for the boys and girls having allowing them to hold their event here. The main dish was a top sirloin, steak, salmon, asparagus, roasted potatoes, and of course, a garden salad and two different types of desserts. One was a strawberry cake parfait. Immediately we noticed that the…read moreinside of the restaurant was nicely decorated and well lit, an appropriate space for a lovely dinner, or so we thought. At the time the dining room was sparsely populated, only a few other tables were seated. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered within a few minutes of sitting down; my wife ordered the seafood pasta I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and the tomato burrata salad as an appetizer. After about 20 minutes the waitress returned to let us know that they were out of the pasta, so my wife asked for the risotto instead. The salad arrived quickly, however my wife noted that it was missing grilled peaches that were listed in the menu description, a disappointment. The salad itself was balsamic dressed cherry tomatoes with a single piece of burrata on top. Another 40 minutes later our entrees finally arrived. Much to my dismay my dish lacked any appreciable character; it was as if they had cooked six month old frozen pasta and thrown up a brown sauce with fried sage on top. My wife's risotto was mostly cheese but was also similarly devoid of other flavors. Now to be fair to the folks here, I did mention to the waitstaff that the flavors in the food were off and they did reduce the bill. They were also apologetic about the wait we faced. Nevertheless, restaurants have three things they need to do well in order to be successful: food, service and ambience. Perhaps if they improved the quality of the food and the time to service more people would come. Needless to say, but I won't be returning.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

Gus was our guy and he was FANTASTIC! 10/10 recommend his services at your event. The only hiccup was that I didn't realize that the leftovers needed to be placed in containers that we provide.
