I had a terrible experience with this dentist's office. I made an appointment for a crown. At the…read moretime I made the appointment, I made it clear that I am a disabled veteran and that I cannot spend more than 60-90 minutes in the chair. I told them I'd schedule a clean and exam at a later date. They contacted me at least seven times by text - and twice by email (maybe more) as well as at least one phone call to either confirm my existing appointment or trying to get me to move it up. I have to drive all the way from Las Cruces - plus arrange and pay for a dog sitter so I cannot just come on a moment's notice. I made it clear that I wanted to keep my current appointment. They still contacted me at least one more time by text to remind me of my appointment and at that point I just blocked their number. So I paid for a dog sitter, spent money on gas, drove in from Las Cruces, arrived at the 1:30 pm appointment at 1:15 as requested - and the place was a ghost town. Nobody around. I ring the bell and a woman comes out to tell me she'll be out in a moment. 15 minutes later she comes out as I realize she was in the back office chatting with a friend. So she verifies I have an appointment and then seems to be unsure of my insurance situation. We emailed our new insurance card to the office around the first of the year using their contact form on their website. They called me about insurance and wanted to know who we used. I told them we emailed it and they said they didn't get it. So I emailed again and to be safe texted the info to them. A read receipt shows they got both the text and the email. When I walked in this afternoon they acted like they still didn't understand what my insurance was. Very annoying to be asked over and over and over. But I gave them the card. Then the woman said I would be getting my exam and hygene first and then my crown later. Seriously? This was very disturbing because as I documented above I told them multiple times I just wanted the crown done. They said I'd have to wait until 3PM to get the crown done so that meant sitting around nearly two hours to wait for the procedure. My dog sitter had to go to her other job at 4PM so that wouldn't work. I wasted two+ hours of my time - gas for my car - the $40 dog sitter fee - all for nothing. The communication and customer service here is the worst I've received. The woman at the front desk was arguing with me as if I didn't know why I was there. I will never go back and I'd say that if you want to visit - make sure you document everything because it may end up being different when you get there. Also prepare to be texted over and over and over and over and over and over only to possibly find out that they still don't have it right. Not recommended.

I don't normally Yelp. Though I have a few pro and cons…read more Pro: Dr Amir is very professional and is a real human being and along with his great staff. Jessica made everything easy for me with her quick responses and kept me on track. The hygienist did a great job hands down 5stars same with Leslie and her team mate made sure I was well every chance they had. They work great with the doctor! Everyone and even the manager had been very polite, its like as if they are 100% real people. Either they get paid very well or they love what they do! (Hint for Dr Amir) They answered every question and made my visit welcomed and at home. I couldn't answer with my mouth full of spit, pillow block, and few other things lol... But the assistants and Dr. Amir were very attentive and cared about my well being during dental procedures. Cons: Remember I said I felt at home? Yes, I went in on a very pact date, Christmas Eve. But... I felt at home home.. watched a full movie. Think the words gone out that Dr Amir and his team are rockstars and the place just gets packed easily. Maybe they need another Dr. Or... they may just need to call in less appointments daily. Last con: Communication, In my opinion I noticed a little communication going on and thought they may need to work on it a bit more. Like team planning before going into a room with a patient. I had a whole lot done in two days and will be going back with Dr. Amir and his team!

Be careful what you sign for, and make sure you see and ask about everything they are charging you…read more I went in for a wisdom tooth removal, spoke to the dr. about only a wisdom tooth removal and the process and procedure, but not once was I told they were going to do a bone replacement graft. You expect them to tell you everything they are going to do to you prior to consenting to any type or surgery right? But that was one thing that was never mentioned. The lady that comes in to charge you and claims to be the office manager is the the rudest person in that place. When she explains the charges she tries to tell you everything quick like she's obviously trying to make you feel rushed before so you can sign quickly. When asked questions she barely answers and now I see why. When I called back to ask why I was being charged for a bone graft the lady named Claudia who I'm sure was the same lady I dealt with due to her tone and attitude in her voice began acting very hostile, extremely rude and basically couldn't give a straight answer. Her reasoning was, we charged you that because you got it done. Now I looked at videos of what a bone replacement graft is and my procedure looked nothing like that and again was never mentioned. Anyway, learning experience. Positive things: the staff ( besides that awful woman) were very nice and welcoming. I dealt with the dentist that extracted my tooth and a different one when I went back for the follow up and both very nice and professional, answered all my questions. I didn't know about the bone graft at this time until after I left the follow up if not that would have been a definite question. I would say next time but I'm not so sure if I can go back to this place. Im very upset to that "manager" handled the situation.
