The very first application they received they sent to me - the guy declared his income to be $0, and when I questioned it, they said that they talked with him and that he was a web developer that just sold his company. I reluctantly agreed, since I wanted the place rented ASAP. Big mistake - the guy had warrants out for his arrest, and his "emergency contact" was his estranged wife who had a restraining order against him and was not legally able to sign a contract. Roman never called her or did any sort of thorough background check. The guy is now in jail, and his girlfriend is renting my house out on Airbnb without my permission - they haven't paid rent in 2 months, and while they're making $263/night on Airbnb, I'm stuck paying the bills while waiting for the eviction process to proceed. My mistake - I trusted that Roman was a professional and knew his business - he just wanted to make a quick buck.

We are exploring legal remedies and taking it up with proper reporting organizations. "The absence of a countersigned copy alone usually does not prevent a contract from being binding or mean the agent is not in breach if they back out after you signed the agreement they provided. The overall behavior and mutual acceptance of terms are important factors in determining breach and enforceability . If the agent reneges after you signed their agreement, even without their countersignature, it is still likely considered a breach of contract and potentially a breach of ethics."

Including Sunday morning when she sent me a video clearly detailing both homes. It is also clear on the tax roll that there are 2 homes +on the property.
