The menu tonight was predetermined with great options. Service was a little slow tonight, but that is to be expected when the entire restaurant is at capacity with reservations. My husband and I loved the appetizers. It was a sample of shrimp cocktail, spinach dip with pita bread, and sriracha honey bacon brussel sprouts. I ordered the garden salad for my next course while my husband chose the broccoli mushroom chowder. We each enjoyed our choice. For the main course I had the marinated grilled chicken with creamy spinach and artichoke, and my husband had the 16 ounce bone in ribeye. Both main dishes came with a twice baked potato and roasted vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, bell pepper). My chicken was slightly overcooked, but it wasn't too noticeable with the creamy topping. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. We both enjoyed the sides. We got dessert to go as we were so full by that point. I chose the carrot cake and he got the cheesecake. Our son was very happy we decided to bring the desserts home so he could also try them. Both were delicious, but the carrot cake was the standout. We look forward to returning to have their regular menu.

I had the fried catfish with coleslaw & mac n cheese. The mac n cheese looked & tasted like Kraft Mac n cheese so I did not think it tasted good. The roll with the strawberry butter was good. I wished it had came before the entree instead of at the same time. Would definitely come back again

An absolutely wonderful experience back in my hometown last weekend at Honey Moon Coffee on the…read morewest side! What a sweet and cozy spot that gives the west side a fantastic spot for a quick coffee, yummy bite, or nice place to hangout with friends or get work done! The place has been around for a hot minute now. I just haven't had a chance to go check it out! So, I obviously had to squeeze in a second and grab some yumminess! I obviously needed to snag a couple stickers and a bag of roasted coffee to take home to try. I'm a whole bean kind of gal, so I was happy to see they were selling whole beans with the option to have it ground for you in-store. These are the drinks I walked away with... Lavender lemonade (pre-bottled) Iced Mama Bear Chai (a honey syrup with a banana cream cold foam) Iced Baklava Latte with Soy (a recommendation by the barista) Iced DECAF Brown Sugar Latte with Soy (recommended by the barista) In total, so 4 drinks, 1 bag of beans, and 3 stickers came out to $50. I was a little shocked by the price. I'd expect that or something close to it in Ohio, but I wasn't expecting Evansville to be so close in price (that's probably just due to ignorance and lack of being back in town, if I'm being quite honest). For the quality of everything I got and for the sake of supporting local, I'm not mad and would do it again! The baristas were super sweet and surprised I'd just trust them to make me whatever they suggested. They wanted my opinion as soon as they were done making everything. At first, the Mama Bear Chai sounded odd. I couldn't picture the honey and banana in a drink, but once I tried a sip, it was delicious!! I'm wanting to go back for breakfast the next time I'm in town. I love that they have vegan options too for those who keep plant based!

I felt this was a good sign. Ordered a beekeeper latte (honey and cinnamon) and it was very good! We also ordered breakfast - I tried their dark moon bubble waffle, and my wife had one of their breakfast bagels. High praise for both items. The bubble waffle was fantastic! This place is worth checking out if you are in the Evansville area!
