Honey Moon Coffee was a really nice stop! The coffee was good, not the best I've ever had, but definitely enjoyable and well-made. What really stood out, though, was the café itself. The inside is adorable with such a cozy, inviting ambiance that makes you want to stay awhile. It was a little busy when I visited, but the baristas kept great attitudes and worked quickly despite the rush, which I appreciated. The pricing was also surprisingly reasonable for what I got; I honestly expected it to be more expensive based on the vibe alone. Overall, Honey Moon Coffee is a charming spot with solid drinks, friendly service, and a cute atmosphere. I'd happily come back, and it's definitely worth a visit! read more

Did a quick trip out of town for business, stopped by on my way out of town to grab some coffee and a quick breakfast. I opted for the honey moon latte (lavender & honey) and the Lemon Blueberry Waffle. The waffle lived up to its "bubble waffle" style and it "popped" apart when it was cut. Both items were flavorful and lived up to my hopes when I picked a locally owned coffee company over the franchise options. I was there around 0900, and though tucked away in a strip mall it was well visited by individuals having business meetings, working on projects, enjoying their morning coffee, or joining friends for a catch up. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a fee for eating in. If traveling, stop in and visit - you will not be disappointed. read more

Thought I'd posted this a few months ago, but here ya go, the app is telling me no.... So, in a nutshell this place has a great cafe ambiance, tasty treats and delicious brunch type food. Cafe girlies stand up! Great find passing through to visit friends and family...not even they knew the name or had been! Leave it to a Yelper to find gems in someone else's city. I needed a place to meetup and literally this was the best place that suited my vibe and aesthetic. Super cute, spacious, cowork friendly, kid friendly. The menu options are so fun, unique, and healthy! I ordered things I'd never typically go for--lemon blueberry waffle! It was really different and good. On my last day in Evansville, I needed a quick healthy bite before leaving. I was glad to find Honey Moon on Yelp. Finding the eatery IRL was another story. The menu had a decent amount of gluten-free and vegan items to choose from. I ordered oatmeal and a hot tea latte with almond milk. The oatmeal was tasty and the walnuts, cranberries, etc. topped it off nicely, although the portion seemed a little small. The tea was okay, a little too spicy (turmeric) for my liking. But about finding this location? It would have been helpful to have a mention explaining not to trust one's GPS on the website and/or email with my order confirmation. This location is in a series of strip malls with all the stores seemingly having the same address. It might be easy for locals to navigate. But maybe not. When I called to ask for help, a nice employee tried to help me find the place but was not able to. After 10 minutes of slow driving in a parking lot, I finally found it. read more

Stopped here on a Saturday mid morning and was not crowded, but also not empty. Place is cutely decorated and very trendy. I ordered an iced chai and had the option or marsala or lavender; I chose marsala. Order came out quickly & staff was nice. The chai just didn't do it for me. Decided to try out a new place for breakfast. Had the salty dog cold brew and a breakfast burrito. The coffee and food were both excellent. The eggs in the breakfast sandwich were real, but the croissant was flat and mushy. Their breakfast burrito was more like a panini. The ground sausage was not well spiced and tasted more like ground beef without salt or pepper. Their lavender chai tasted watery even with whole milk. It took a long time for the food to even get to us. The place is really cute though. The bathroom was pretty clean even though it didn't smell good, smelled chemically, needs a better fan. We were just visiting Evansville over the weekend, and I looked up good brunch places to eat. I found this through Yelp, and after finding out they had bubble waffles, I knew I had to give this place a try! Being Cantonese, this is a staple snack in Hong Kong. The food was absolutely delicious! The bubble waffles had just the right amount of sweetness and crisp, the two most important aspects of a good bubble waffle. The aesthetic is light and warm. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this gem yet. This is a regular spot for my family and I. Both locations are great-the burkhardt spot has a larger dining area. Every bubble waffle I have had here has been delicious. We usually get the half moon sandwich with spicy aioli-it's delicious. We got some seasonal coffee this time. I got Cinnamon Coldbrew and my wife got the Butterscotch latte-both were amazing. Please go here, you won't be disappointed. They also now serve Graeter's Ice Cream which I always enjoyed when we lived near Cincinnati-glad to see it in Evansville! read more

I came here with friends for brunch! We always meet up for brunch when we are in town and Honey Moon is one of our favorite spots! This was my first time at the new location and I loved it! It's so much bigger than the original location which is great because it was super busy this Saturday! I believe this location has an extended menu as well, but I stuck with my favorite Half Moon breakfast quesadilla and vanilla almond milk latte! The half moon is DELICIOUS! It comes with sriracha aioli that is to die for. I chose swiss cheese and added bacon! Their service was great and got our food out quickly even with how busy they were. Water is set out for anyone to grab, but I highly recommend getting a coffee or tea while you are here. The atmosphere was cozy as well. They had a pianist playing popular songs. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but I really enjoyed it the more he was playing! They had a fireplace going and a mixture of booths, tables, and couches to lounge on. Plenty of people were here just to eat but there was also a decent amount of people who were here working on their laptops. I can definitely see myself coming back here to study or work! I love there are starting to be more local coffee options on the east side! I am on sesames with the decor and love the vibe a lot! They seemed to have a ton of cool activities they hold. The only downside unfortunately for me was the drink I ordered. I ordered a chai latte. I could only take a few sips of it and had to throw the rest out. The taste was so strong it burned my chest when I drank it. I would suggest they need to tweak the recipe or work on training a little more. Honey Moon is one of my favorite spots in town for brunch. I was so excited for this new location. I went for the social media opening a couple weeks earlier and they didn't have the half moon on the menu and I asked about it, but when I went for brunch it was! I was so excited. It's like this breakfast quesadilla. I got it with all of the veggies that were offered. The tomatoes made the tortilla soggy, but that didn't impact the taste. It is my favorite thing to eat! I've gotten a waffle, which they are good, but the half moon is my favorite. I usually prefer savory to sweet for breakfast. I ordered the Beekeeper I believe it's called. It is a latte with cinnamon and honey and I was told that it was a popular drink. If I don't order that, I typically order a vanilla latte. Both are great. I recommend trying the beekeeper. If you aren't a fan, try the tea! My friend orders tea when she comes. I love this location. The original location is small and cozy, but this location is big and somehow cozier! The fireplace was a great touch. They had someone playing the piano while we were there and it was a great surprise! He was playing popular songs, which was a nice change from hearing songs straight off the radio. I will be coming back. I've already been a handful of times and introduced family to the new location. Best café on Eastside and possibly all of Evansville! Their espresso is perfectly balanced, and has a taste of toasted nuts, caramel, and honey. Those flavors come through in all of the espresso based drinks like iced lattes, hot lattes, cappuccinos, and the caramel macchiato. Always a treat to have when I'm in town! They also have a great rotation of seasonal drinks to keep things interesting! Just wish they were open till 8 so I could have after dinner coffee more often read more
