To be honest, before joining Joanna's daycare, I had a terrible six-week experience at a popular bilingual daycare in Dublin (with 20+ five-stars). My son was extremely resistant to going there, and we left with a hint of anxiety from the ordeal. Feeling apprehensive but hopeful, I decided to give Joanna's daycare a try. I still remember the first few days vividly. Joanna filled my son's days with laughter and love, and she sent me countless pictures of him laughing so joyously -- something I never saw during his time at the previous daycare. Within a week, he was able to stay there all day. He was eating well and had become the happy, loving boy I used to know. The impact of the previous daycare on my son was significant, and it affected my work life. It's no exaggeration to say that Joanna's daycare saved us. At the previous daycare, my son was afraid of the teachers. At Joanna's, he speaks confidently in front of her and hugs her like she's family. At previous one, my son had to sleep in sitting position and refused to be touched. At Joanna's, he was quite friendly and made a few good friends. The previous daycare had strict rules, like not allowing parents to chat or stay too long at the door due to their camera and alarm system. In contrast, Joanna's front yard is a welcoming space where parents can chat freely while kids laugh and play nearby. Joanna truly knows my son. She even managed to help him stop using a pacifier to sleep -- something I had tried for months without success! This sharp contrast made me realize what a 2-year-old truly needs. I don't need him to be academically advanced or overly independent; I just want him to be with someone who is loving and happy, so he can become a loving and happy person himself. It's rare to find a place where you feel 100% confident in the care of your child, but this daycare has exceeded all our expectations. They truly go above and beyond in every way, and we feel incredibly lucky to find Joanna.
