Driving through Goldendale, we needed some caffeine and stumbled on SunRise Coffee. I honestly think this is one of the very few establishments around. For all you drivers heading north or south, this is a great pit stop to getting something to recharge- we stopped both times!. Their menu is decent and have a little bit of everything. Super easy to get to from 97- just turn at the Dairy Queen! There is a drive up on both sides which makes it easy to get to it from multiple ways, and it really seems like it's the locals favorite too. Gals are super friendly and nice. Must stop. read more

My husband and I were staying up at a place near Glenwood, WA and decided to take a drive into Goldendale, WA. had lunch at a nearby cafe and wanted a coffee for our ride back. First thing noted was the great big smile from the barista. We ordered a vanilla latte and a chai and I'm telling you- they were both delicious! Totally worth it! read more

I really WANTED to give my money to a local business and buy my coffee at Sunrise this morning. Until I drove up to window and saw the barista wasn't wearing a mask. (There was one in the vicinity of her face, but since it was covering her chin and not her mouth or nose, it really isn't effective and therefore does not count.) If they're ignoring a simple precaution in the middle of a global pandemic, what other health precautions might they ignore? One wonders. Instead, I went down the road and got my coffee from McDonalds. Coffee may not be as good, but I'm more assured that it wasn't be served with a side of COVID. read more

Best mocha I have ever had !!! It is definitely worth the wait if there's a line. Their many is large as well so many options.
