Kiddo asked for a restaurant breakfast. This was just down the road from the airbnb and on the way. We got there when a large crowd was leaving. Perfect timing. Food was and fast. Staff quick, friendly and efficient. Place is smaller with a few things for sale in the front. If we come back for the observatory like I want to, we will still again. read more

Wow I'm impressed and will certainly be back if ever in Washington. Came from out of state for a music event so wanted to try a local spot and was guided here via Yelp reviews. Tried the caprese sandwich and stole bites of the breakfast plate as well so I was able to try two items. Pancakes were good and fluffy sausage was juicy and potatoes were cooked to the right crispness. Service was fast and friendly without breaking the wallet budget thankfully. read more

This is the only spot in the area where you can get some food and drink. It's a rustic cute little spot with exceptionally friendly staff. We stopped here on our way to check out the ice caves and someone in our party asked for a certain milkshake flavor they had ran out of. We told the waiter it was fine and picked another option. He went out of his way to go next door to get our friend exactly what she ordered. So nice! We will definitely be back here to enjoy the fun atmosphere, friendly staff and best milkshakes! read more

Great for what it is. A bit hidden as the back side of the building faces Broadway St. You have to enter by a sign for espresso and then turn into the front of the building parking area. Strange. But the food was really good, service very personal and friendly. A very basic decor/ambiance and they were decked out for Halloween. Probably the only place in town serving eggs benedict for breakfast. read more

Not impressed one bit! I got the steak sandwich which my meat was mostly fat and very grisly. My whole meal smelled like old fryer oil. The fries turned my stomach by the smell. I would of complained to the waitress but I was with a group of friends and the waitress wasn't around much. I donated $16.13 (my Pepsi was the best part) for a very lousy meal. read more

We read the reviews. We made a bee line to Town House. Twenty minutes out of our way but who cares? Have you seen all those 5-star reviews? Alas as much as I'd love to add another 5-star, we'll never know. I can only review the business based on their exterior and their advertised/posted hours: "Closes 3pm". We arrived at 2:10 to this charming little house only to find them closed. Look, I understand that stuff happens that's out of your control, or maybe you were painfully slow today and decided to let your staff loose. Cool. All I am saying in my review is that people might want to call to make sure you are open before they head over. read more

What a find! This is a really cute place, very clean (including the sparkling clean restroom) and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The service was very quick and the food was delicious! I had a patty melt and fries and my husband had a waffle. Both were great! This was our first visit to Goldendale and if we're ever back in this area we will be sure to stop again. read more

This place was amazing for brunch. I had the eggs Benedict. I like my hollandaise a bit more acidic so I asked for some lemon and it was just perfect. The waitress and cook were extremely accomodating and friendly. Good portions as well. I finished my whole meal and I usually don't do that but I couldn't stop eating. The ambience was great as well. It's a two story house converted into a restaurant with a nice, casual but elegant feeling. Also can't beat the price. A whole meal for two for less than $25. Will definitely come back next time through Goldendale. read more

Best restaurant in Goldendale WA. The food was fresh and homemade. The atmosphere was lovely...casual, but classy. Our party had steaks, chicken alfredo, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, salad, and the works baked potato soup, and chocolate cheesecake. The only problem we had was that our steaks were undercooked, couldn't eat one of them completely. Everything else was DELICIOUS!! The alfredo was homemade, perfect, not to heavy, not to runny. The mashed potatoes had a little garlic butter pooled up in the center! YUM! The baked potatoes were perfectly tender. The house salad wasn't just your regular salad, it had spring salad mix and heirloom tomatoes, and the dressing (ranch and bleu cheese) were both wonderful. The soup was pure comfort food! Ok, then the two best things were the brown wheat bread with butter, tasted like honey...we fought over the last piece! And the homemade Death By Chocolate Cheesecake (which our server made and was very proud of, rightly so)...the first bite our my daughter close her eyes and smile. And to top it off, our server, was so friendly. We really enjoyed our meal at the Town House Cafe. We'll definitely return when we're in Goldendale again. read more

A group of us driving to the Gorge to see Dead & Co! We stopped here because they had 5 stars! Needless to say the atmosphere was very quaint and homey yet no music at all. The food was mediocre. Definitely not 5 stars. It was nice to take photos... My biscuits and gravy was bland, even after I put salt and pepper. My friends rated their food "ok". One of my friends said, the food was comparable to denny's; and who really likes Denny's?? We were kind of bummed because since we've been on this road trip; we've been eating at some pretty distinctively spectacular places and unfortunately won't be adding this to the list. read more

Food was great, ownership is fantastic, and the meal was timely. However, our server Audrey was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I have worked in several restaurants and always give the benefit of the doubt in the eyes of servers, but Audrey was over the line. Did not greet us, wouldn't make eye contact, and was very condescending and rude while answering questions. I ordered a waffle and 3 scrambled eggs, and I got a waffle and a side plate with no more than 1 egg on it. I asked our server if my plate was 3 eggs, and I got a back handed response of "maybe the other one is". She was referring to my friends plate which also very obviously only had 1 scrambled egg on it. She then dropped her shoulders and patronizingly asked me if I wanted another egg like I was a little kid or something. We were not tended to after the food was dropped off, and we were charged for the price of 5 eggs and clearly given 2. The place is great besides her! read more

Wow! Who knew?! Thank you Yelpers for the excellent and accurate reviews. I will say that if you don't know where to look for this cafe you will not find it. This was one of the finest Breakfast meals ever. Period. Kinda quiet when we arrived at 9am on Sun. Glad we walked in right then as immediately after we ordered the place was full. It's a small very nice place with about maybe 8 tables. I had bacon and eggs over med, hashbrowns, w/biscuit. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Outstanding biscuit! My wife had scrambled w/sausage and biscuit. She remarked right then that these guys know how to cook scrambled. Great flavor bacon/ sausage from a local supplier. It was a breakfast that you could MAYBE get prepared for you in a fine restaurant in a big city and pay $20 each. Together w/coffee and tip our entire bill was under $20!
