Finally got around the home inspection with them before my 1 year home warranty ended. The inspection was very thorough (4 hr home inspection) Reid was great and very friendly. He more than just inspected the house, he troubleshooted and tried to replicate scenarios to find the source of the problem. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a brand new condo in Kakaako and spent a few years asking our friends and connections for various referrals for a home inspector since we did not know any of our own. I specifically wanted an inspector with experience in these new developments, since I heard it can be a very different process from the regular resale homes. But everyone we spoke to had had some sort of bad experience with their inspector and couldn't refer them to us in good conscience. I was so scared at first to book them because we didn't know them through anyone, it was practically a blind hire. Reid is very thorough and a professional at home inspections. He spent 4 hours performing a home inspection for us on a house that we are looking to buy (3 bd/2 bath single story, single family home). He found issues that some other inspectors might not have even brought up in previous sales. He conducted an inspection of a single-family home in Hawaii Kai that we are currently considering purchasing - even before we were able to meet him in person, the planned scope of inspection services, cost structure and ability to accommodate for our schedule immediately impressed us. While examining our potential new home, Reid was extremely thorough and professional, taking his time to clarify his findings and answering all of our questions - from the roof to the foundation, to the utilities, there was a high level of attention to detail, and importantly, patience (this was especially important, as we are first-time home buyers).
