I was really really rooting for them and trying to like it so hard. Im not usually one to speak up if it doesn't look good but it was so bad and not what I wanted at all. I wanted a plain french tip. I switched to a different person because I was ready to just walk out of there with no color and just acrylic and paint them at home after being cut twice and asking to fix the white tip for the third time because it was very sloppy looking. The other lady fixed as much as she could but I am still not too happy. They do not look very good, they look very cartoony. Everyone there was super nice though, the same guy that started my nails did my pedicure and that was good, I was just taken back by the quality because when I went there before they were great. Not a good experience. Just needed a quick pedicure and color gel manicure. They took their time with the pedicure and it was was OK, however the nail polish itself was done a bit sloppy. They didnt do such a great job on the manicure, plus the manicurist knicked me a couple of times with the electric sander tool. This tool gives me anxiety to begin with because I have been cut, scraped, knicked at other salons with it. I kept asking her to please be careful, but she just laughed every time I jumped when I was knicked. And the towel on the manicure table was filthy and had nail clippings from other patrons on it. My parents have a summer place in Cape May and everywhere was either booked or too bougie. We ended up at Sunrise Nails Spa II where they got both of us in for a pedicure next to each other no problem. We were apologetic for being 10 minutes late and they were so kind and understanding. We were sat immediately next to each other. I had Nina and my mother had Liam (I think that was his name). The two of them were so funny and conversational with us. We sat there and laughed the entire time. I got a French gel manicure and Nina made sure to check in with me throughout the process to make sure it was what I wanted. She did just what I asked for and I wasn't even charged extra for a French where in most places they charge me. The prices were very reasonable. My mom and I tipped extra (my mom rarely does unless they really put effort in to earn it). I went to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure, first appointment available at 9:00. I had no complaints during the actual service, as I am vacationing here for the month, & went as much to give a 50% tip. When I got home, 2 of my toes were chipped, & by later that evening 2 of my nails were chipped. I was annoyed, but honestly I didn't care enough to go back to get them fixed, let alone write a review, as this is my first in 33 years. The next day my entire thumb nail lifted off in one peel. With that said, I returned the following morning at 8:55 requesting them to please fix the ONE nail that I'm visibly showing them the actual polish hanging off, as I kept it on to visualize how easily it peeled in one piece. However, the rude man at the front desk refused to fix my one nail and told me I had to make an appointment. He continued to say it takes 10 minutes to fix one nail, when we all know it takes 10 minutes to polish the entire set. In the time he took telling me no, he could have easily polished the nail and I could have let it dry on my own, not interrupting or making any of the surrounding customers wait. Instead of utilizing himself, or any of the available staff for something that would have taken 2 minutes, he decided to cause a scene and start yelling "bye" to myself and my mother. I did not show up a week later, or in the middle of a working day, nor for a minor chip. I returned the next day, 5 minutes before the salon opened, because the entire nail peeled off. No returning customer should have to make an appointment to get one nail polished or be treated so disrespectfully. I went there two weeks prior with no issue, I even referred my aunt and my cousin who also went this month. I understand things happen and nails chip or break, and that does not reflect the work of the salon, it does however reflect very poor customer service. & yes, at the end of the encounter, I finished peeling the polish, and threw it at the rude man. read more

For starters I had three people do my pedicure. I arrived about 15 minutes before my pedicure and wasn't seated until 5 past my appointment time..no big deal. Anyways, my toes were barley filed or cut, nor was I asked. The polish the guy used was dried up and left my toes blotchy. As I went to pay my total came to $6 more than charged. After I paid I asked why was it 32 and not 26? The women and man who did my toes said 'ATM is behind you for tip' I said again, why was it 32 and not 26 for a basic, regular pedicure. Then the guy sitting at the first counter said it's a fee that they charge for your file and buff block. Now, I have no problem paying for it. But it would've been nice to have been told this. Or to have SIGNS POSTED. I understand where in the middle of a pandemic. So I had to pay for a buff block and file, but not for a new brush to go into the community nail polish? I love this place. Everyone is friendly and does a great job. Busy in a summer time but you can always find a spot.

During my pedicure, my technician was not incredibly friendly and was very rough. He never made eye contact and didn't ask about comfort related to water or hot towel temperature. When cutting cuticles he was so rough that he cut me and made me bleed. Normally if technicians draw blood they stop and put a layer of nu skin on....he tried to hide it with his thumb and then didn't treat it at all. 2 days later it's still cut and hurting. read more

Just going to to start off by saying I wanted so bad for my experience here to be good and I'm only giving a star because I have to. I live in wildwood for the summer, and this seems like everybody's go to salon, I go to the salon and was greeted by a nice guy that asked me to pick my color and sign in (asked how my day was, made communication), a couple minutes later a VERY rude guy came over to me and said let's go (like he wasn't up for doing my pedicure and new set of acrylics) we got to the pedicure station he pointed to the chair I sat there for at least 20 minutes while he went to go eat his lunch and talk to other workers.. when he came back he looked nothing but miserable seemed like he didn't want to do my pedicure at all and kept sticking my feet in extremely hot water and got annoyed when I said it was too hot.. he then finished my most awkward pedicure of my life (forgot to mention he literally got my shorts and legs soaked from the water it looked like I had pissed myself when I got up) we then went to the manicure station. He started to put a new set of tips on me (still looking like he hates his life) barely put any glue on the nails when he went to file half of them fell off and he got annoyed at me and told me to sit still.. which I was.. he then finished the acrylics and moved to the polish.. he messed up the color on my thumb and filed over the already dried paint then not even wiping off what he had just filed he just painted right over it so my whole thumb color was nothing but bumpy.. okay??.... I know i could have said something but I just wanted to leave the man that did my nails was the most rude person I have ever gotten my nails done by in my life.. While we were in Wildwood last week, my daughter and I went to get manicures. We went in without appointments but they were able to take us both right away. When I went to pick my polish, I could see right away what other reviewers were talking about; many of the polish options were dried out and old. I finally found one that was acceptable and then sat down. The guy who did my manicure kept sneezing and sniffling throughout the whole thing. I would have rather waited a few minutes than to get a manicure from someone sick. But being someone who doesn't like to make a fuss, I continued on. The polish was the best of the lot but it was still thick and I could see that it was going to take a long time to dry, particularly because he kept going back over the same spots because he didn't really seem to know what he was doing. Three days later now almost every nail is chipped and I have to take it off. My daughter got her nails done as well. When I was finished, she was still in the chair despite starting 5 minutes before me. When she came over to the drying station, she reported that the lady kept messing up and starting over. And then at the end had to put polish remover all over the sides of her fingers because she got it all over while polishing her nails. I am usually not fussy at all with my nails - I go to whoever is available at whatever place is convenient. But this was by far the worst place I have been. read more

Very pleasantly surprised about how bright and open the salon is. Very clean. They use plastic throw away covers in their pedicure stations which I appreciate. The staff is very friendly. I was originally nervous about them doing the powder dip on my nails but when I asked if they did them he replied that they specialize in them. And he was right. My usual salon where I go at home is huge but has 1/3 of the dip colors of this place. They had so much to choose from. Their dip procedure is also different than what I am used to. They do not use uv lights or anything to cure the nails. They just dry without that and never went under fan or light. I really feel like this process is much healthier for my nails. I will return to this salon when I'm in town. If you live nearby give this salon a try. They do a great job. read more

I did not have the best experience here at all. My nail tech was rude and made me feel very insecure and bad about having hyperhidrosis which is a condition where my hands sweat uncontrollably. This is something I have been trying to get under control for years. I was very upset leaving here. My nail tech not only talked about my hands and how bad they were the whole time but did not talk to me at all about anything else. On top of all of this he did not do a good job on my nails at all he cut them way shorted than I asked and left them bumpy. I will not be returning here again. read more

Firstly, I just want to say thank you to this nail salon for taking me in at such short notice, especially during this time right now & needing a prior appointment. Secondly, the individuals who work here are very nice & welcoming. I regrettably did not ask for the techs name who did my nails, however it is a male & he sits close to the bathroom. He did an amazing job on my nails, and did not complain once about my nails being very thin (as i have experienced at numerous other salons), he took his time & asked me numerous times if i was alright or if anything hurt as far as doing my nails. My first visit last year was great. It was well above any nail salon experience I'd come across in a beach town, and I planned on it being my go-to during the summer season. I only had a pedicure, but it was really great- not luxurious, but definitely clean, comfortable, thorough, and the paint job lasted weeks and weeks until I finally removed it!Unfortunately, when I returned 7/7/19, things were far different. After a bit of a wait, we were taken back to the pedicure area, and things started off fine. The technician providing my service wasn't exactly friendly- I said a polite "hi," and he wasn't up for talking, I guess. That's cool. He moved along the service, seemed thorough enough. I was eagerly awaiting the few minutes of massage standard for a pedicure... my legs were practically screaming for it. But next thing I knew, polish was coming out. Maybe I should have spoken up... but I just didn't have it in me. Eventually I went to the dryers, un-massaged. I was just garden-variety-disappointed, until I mentioned my missing massage to my boyfriend- and learned that he had gotten one. Then came the icing on the disappointment cake- the way my nails were painted. Once I really took a good look, it was obvious that he hadn't done much to my cuticles at all, and there is a large strip of cuticle between the skin and nail where the polish starts; basically, I left the salon with polish that looks grown out. I really just didn't have it in me to argue with them about it, which I know is on me for not speaking up. Pedicure aside, there are some other annoyances in the salon- like the clarity of their menu of services. The pamphlet version is almost impossible to decipher, and the posted services is about the same. Nobody is available at the front desk to ask about them. read more

I hate to do this, because I like the convenience of the location for people in the crest, and I used to be very pleased with my experience in the past (so much I have recommended this place to many people since this location has been open), but this summer has been different. I swear the employees charge you whatever they want and not what they advertise. They charge for every little thing, just to keep adding up the "original" price. I paid the same amount for a gel refill as I did for a pink and white FULL SET two weeks before. It's ridiculous. When you get gel - whether it is pedicure or manicure - they must add at least $20 to the original price that is advertised on the sign in the front as soon as you walk in the door. The last time I went I was not impressed with my refill as the guy who did my nails was rough and did not care that he kept hurting me with the razor. Besides the pain and glue all over my fingers, he did not paint the full acrylic nail (sides were not painted and can see the clear acrylic) . When he rang me up, it almost looked like he was waiting to see how I would react to what he charged me. I kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to be rude and this is the only place I know down here when it comes to getting my nails done, but I am over it and in search of a new place. read more
