They must use the cheapest nail polish available because my manicure looked liked crap after one day! I called to complain and was told it's only supposed to last for 1 or 2 days....obviously more crap! The pedicure was only a little better. They do very little massaging, etc. but at least the nail polish is holding up three days later. Also when I got home under my eyebrow was red and painful from the wax! It hurt a lot but it was my birthday and my family was taking me out to dinner. Probably a good thing because I didn't have time go back Unique Nails and Spa when I was really furious. Had a great experience at this nail salon. I'm pleasantly surprised by how organized and clean their shop is. Every single one of their techs is super friendly and skilled. I'll definitely be visiting when we're down again! Great deal for pedi and gel mani - only $50! read more

Came in on a Sunday for SNS for my daughter and pedi for me - staff was professional with a very short wait time - salon was busy but managed well and very efficiently moved the clientele. I selected one star but this place deserves 0 stars!!! used to be a great place but now....AWFUL and RUDE with ZERO customer service skills!!! my daughter made an appointment for me, for pedi and refill. I arrive and the place was empty (I thought it was odd because it was never empty before). I was escorted to the pedi chair...pedicure done. escorted to dryer table. I asked about my refill...was told "we don't do refills". Ok, I say....then remove the acrylic and do a gel manicure. I was told it was "too late for that." they were so rude...I had to leave with a shoddy pink pedi and grown out finger nails.....dark purple!!! I went to the place near ACME to make an appt for tomorrow. of course, I complained about unique nails, well!!!! apparently many many people have stopped going to unique because of their customer service and business practices. STAY AWAY from this place....run don't walk anywhere else!!! read more

This place is ok. I go here because it is close to where I stay at the shore. I've been here several times and the experience is always the same. Whether slow or busy, the service is no-frills. If you are looking for a quick mani-pedi before the beach, this is the place. If you want to be pampered, do not come here. A mani-pedi costs $40. In the city, I pay $47 (which granted, is expensive for Philly). For $47, I get an extensive massage and a relaxing experience. If I want a quick and dirty mani-pedi, $30 is usually the standard price. That's why it is disappointing to pay $40 for the type of service that is given here. They do a fine job and my polish lasts, but when I'm on vacation, I'm looking for something more relaxing. Also, be prepared. They do accept credit cards, but they do not want you to tip on the credit card so bring cash. read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a good nail salon for my pedicures. Maybe I am spoiled by my Gel Nail Salon in Mt Laurel, but I was very disappointed with the spa pedicure I received. The scrub was put on my legs and immediately rinsed off, same thing with the moisturizer except they used a hot towel to wipe it off. I am used to these two items being massaged into my my legs and feet for a few minutes, not immediately taken off. I was extremely disappointed. I would gladly pay $10 or &15 more to get a decent pedicure. My manicure was fine though. The staff was very nice also - they just do a mediocre job. i have been coming here since i was a freshman in high school (2013). super affordable. my boyfriend and i got mani/pedis for $70 ($35 each) not including tip. nail technicians were super friendly and skillful. they got the job done quick without making us feel rushed. definitely stop on in! Stopped by today with no appointed and didn't have to wait long at all. Kim did my manicure and pedicure and she did an amazing job. I was recently had a rushed service at another salon so I really paid attention. Not here. Kim took her time, the pedicure was very relaxing, and everyone was very very friendly. I will return! I've seen so many mixed reviews about this spot so I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. Let me start by saying I'm a local, SUPER PICKY, and I have only left a nail salon happy in Cape May County a handful of times... 10 years ago, and when I left unique last week after my appointment with Jennifer. I got a full set of long coffin nails with gel polish and after a 40+ hour week of waitressing and bartending my nails are still looking fabulous. I'm going back today for a pedicure! read more

I this was my 1st time here, and I must say for the price you pay you deserve much better. I decided to go get a gel mani and pedi with my mother who got a refill and a pedi, my mother explained to the woman that she was hurting her and the employees all began to talk about her (I don't think they realized I could understand their conversation). The service was mediocre with no pedicure bath liner like a usual sanitary nail salon would have. I then finished and was finished my gel manicure that was rushed that ended up peeling off in 3 days. While my mother was getting a refill she tried explaining that her nails were not even and the nail tech told her she was wrong. In the end I ended up paying 63 dollars for an unsanitary, incorrect gel manicure, at home I would have been charged 40 dollars with a massage. If you would like for your nail technician to talk nasty about you, along with walking out with crooked nails, and give you pedicures that are unsanitary that do not comply with state board this is the place for you. read more

So I took my younger cousins and my sister to get pedicures. First of all there was nail polish all Over the skin around my toes. My one cousins toes are al uneven and cut at different lengths. My sister and cousin were asked if they wanted a design where me and my other cousin were not even asked. I go to this salon occasionally when I am at the shore and have had mixed experiences depending on who is providing the service...but after today I won't be going back. The nail technician cut my toe nail cuticle so badly that it bled for hours. That is something that should never happen. I'm just hoping the clipper was sterile and not used on a previous customer. read more

I've never had more than a 5 minute wait even without an appointment, and they make an effort to give you what you want. My mom and I came for polish changes and both had underwhelming experiences. Upside: didn't wait long and prices were reasonable ($8 for a polish change). Sadly this was more of the "pay for what you get" type of price. My nails were filed fine and then painstakingly painted. My nail technician was sweet but seemed inexperienced. My nails came out fine, but there was paint on my cuticles and it just didn't look very neat; I get similar results when I paint my own nails. This was fine, but my Mom's nails sadly were in worse shape. They were filed but not buffed and polish was applied immediately and in thick coasts, creating that bubbling effect when they dried. After leaving her nails kept catching on things because they weren't filed properly. I felt bad because hers were noticeably bubbly and not evenly shaped. We got what we paid for, but I wouldn't return and I'm glad we didn't get any cutting done or anything more extensive than a polish change! read more
