This was a "fine" gel manicure. Nothing to write home about. It was advertised as $35 and I confirmed the price. When I checked out they said it was $40. I asked why and they said since I changed the shape of my nails. My nails were almond shaped and I just asked to make the point slightly more defined. My experience here was great! It was super easy to book an appointment same day! I first came in for a pedicure and Cristin gave the best customer service. I loved the color on my nails. She also removed my old acrylic set and recommended I try dip powder. I came back a second time to get a dip powder manicure. This was my first time getting this service. Vivian explained the process and provided a quick yet flawless service. I can't wait to come back for my next dip powder manicure. I can say I won't be going back to acrylic gel nails any time soon. Please give this business a try despite reading any negative yelp reviews. I first visited this salon in 2025, I was a walk in and they had no problem with walk ins, I had a mani-pedi and an eyebrow wax. I loved the results and promised to return with ever I was in town. Fast forward to today, my husband and I live for a mani pedi and then lunch, we were in the area and walked in, I said hello, the teen boy at the front didn't say anything other than , do you have an appointment? I said no but I've been here before and wondered if you had time for two mani pedi's and I'd also like an eyebrow wax. No one else was there but the workers. They called us over to the pedicure chairs and my husband had a nice woman and I had a man with a nasty attitude! Let me say they needed to have more inventory when it came to picking out a color for me, he was annoyed bc I was taking too much time, well the bottles they had were old, I mean old and thick, no OPI, or ESSIE or any brand I ever heard of, so I just picked a pepto bismuth pink , I sat down he pushes my feet in the water which was cool not warm, is this ok? No it should be warmer, says something to another worker and they start laughing, my husbands girl was wonderful, engaging and nice, this guy barely looked at me, at that moment I knew I was not getting the manicure and to hell with this dude doing my eyebrows! Rushed me, pulling my feet and so rude, a woman asked if I was getting manicure? No absolutely not and I changed my mind about the wax , he painted my toe nails and the polish was thick and lumpy, heard do a toe and change his mind and take it off, starting all over, my husbands girl did his mani and pedi and he was finished and happy, so since they acted like we were aliens , I was done , done with this man yanking my feet and sucking his teeth so after the last toe was done, I sat at the dryer for 20 mins, my husband paid and we left, unfortunately as I was taking the little flip flop off my right foot , I smeared two toes! We sat and wondered if I should ask him to pretty please redo the 2 toes, then I saw CVS, went in bought some polish remover , went back to my beach house took the polish off both feet and polished them myself. So I figured when I stopped in last year I was just lucky to have a good Experience, never will I go back to that location , just disgusted by the eye rolling and the thick old polish I have never had a bad experience anywhere in wildwood Nj but he was miserable, there is another location , maybe I'll try them next time , but 5 out of 10 for this place. read more

I hate to give a bad review on one visit. This place must be ok because they were very busy. My experience was not great. My nail tech spoke no English so difficult to speak to. Other people stepped in to speak to him. I am a simple natural looking gel manicure. The pink I chose either was a bad polish or the tech needed more experience. It took him 5 coats of polish for it to not look uneven. No polish looks natural after 5 layers. I left frustrated because he and the other gentleman thought they looked fine. This place is FILTHY and they are so overpriced. They don't even clean their stations in between customers. At best they put a new paper towel down. The files they use and the metal tips for the acrylic nail removal machines always have someone else's nail grinds on them. I moved from North Jersey and never though I could find a place as good as I had there but Amy is better and Linda does my pedicures. She is also excellent. Every single nail was a different length, the acrylic was lumpy, and the nail polish was touching my skin. When it was clear she wasn't going to fix the problems, I pointed them out to her, and she acted like she was fixing it but then did nothing. I complained to the guy who takes the money and he refused to do anything about it. I went here multiple times last summer and they always ripped me off and made my nails look like actual trash but I figured I'd give them another shot since Kim's was crowded. Never. Again. 80$ for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. First of all they make up a different price every time you go, secondly, it wouldn't be a problem if they made my nails look decent but I could have did them better myself. The pedicure was not even worth it. The bottom of my feet are left peeled because the woman decided to give me a leg massage instead of a pedicure. Third, the price wouldn't be a problem if they did a decent job however it's totally not worth it. They also told my friend and I a 10 minute wait and we ended up waiting a hour. My cuticles weren't even pushed or cut on my feet, and my nail cuticles were left picked and bloody. Absolutely NEVER coming here again, total rip off. read more

I really do love the work they do honestly. But they are not the best with their customer service. One of the men nail tech is belittling, saying to my friend "you're picky." Like uh yeah? The woman I had was really nice. I was (I guess you could say) passed to her from another nail tech because he got an appointment who requested him, which is totally fine. I get it. Then right in the middle of doing my nails, she left to do someone's eyebrows. It just felt as if they were not prioritizing me as a paying customer. I am 21; I feel as if they kind of assumed I would be fine being pushed to the side when I prefer supporting businesses that treat all paying customers equally, especially because paying customers pay the same amount for the same services. Here is my rant about Sunrise nails in North wildwood,NJ. The worse experience EVER!! I walked in to a mad house! I thought well maybe it's just busy!! I'm directed to the chair I was suppose to sit in & realized I had to go to bathroom I explained to the technician I had to go to bathroom, but she is insisting that I sit, I said no I have to go to bathroom. When I come out there another girl flagging me down telling me You sit here now, I thought ok there's a change of techs no big deal. I sit down she says something that I don't understand, Then says I do nails you get eyebrows. A statement not a question, I said no I did not ask for eyebrows. Her reply I do nails & make eyebrows pretty for you. I told her no eyebrows.her reply I make pretty. I thought this was pushy & rude but I figured no big deal, I just won't allow her to do my eyebrows. I realize the customer next to me is more upset then I am. When her girl left she explained to me that She was told by the technician that she could get her toes & fingers to match, she told me she has already been here for 2 hours & just now getting to her nails she has been her way toooo long, and they did not tell her until after she got her toes done they could not match finger color w jel???? What..... this is a nail saloon riggght? Well they painted 2 of her fingernails & told her to pick one ummmmm both nails where same color.. this poor woman was so frustrated, she relinquish to not getting jel But a regular manicure instead. She said I don't have time to come back in a week that's why I wanted jel. And she hates when her toes & nails don't match.... as I'm getting my nails done The technician is talking to me & I don't understand a thing she is saying so she taps me & points what she wants. I comply it's a universal language & then she talks to me again & I don't understand So I tell her if you are taking to me I don't understand please speak English. She LAUGHS at me!! I became angry I asked her why are you laughing at me, that's not nice, She LAUGHS AGAIN!! I told her that's not funny. I look over and see one of the male techs is counting his money tips in front of everyone and his phone out to total his tips. Reallllly!? Can he not go to the waxing room to count HIS money in privacy? The tech finished my cuticle trimming They where ratty So she tries again. Meanwhile all the workers are talking to each other loudly like it's a party & none of it is in English, really? Meanwhile I'm ready to put my right hand under the Uv light and it doesn't work????? I see another little girl have to jump out of the foot bowl because when it became time to paint her toes the bottle was empty?? She has to jump out so she can choose another color... because who ever used that color last did not think to throw it away. I'm seeing all this incompetent, unprofessional, disrespectful behavior & it's freaking me out!! I guess it showed on my face. The technician asked me are you ok? first I said yes & the girl and guy next to me started talking again in their own language. Now I request to these people can you please talk in English. She tells me my technician does not speak English only Vietnamese. Really I'm thinking well she knows enough English to upsell me for eyebrows. I tell the girl that everyone in here is speaking Vietnamese it is very disconcerting especially when the old adage is that when you are talking in your own language you are talking about your patrons, her rude reply was I can speak whatever language I wish freedom of speech! Freedom of speech..... hmmm ok well I exercised my freedom of speech & told the whole place how it is rude dispectful it is to have an English speaking business and not talk in English, I also told the place that the quality of their service is subpar. And I got Up & walked out! I waked back in to tell the poor girl that was forced to get a regular mani & pedi to go to Christie's on new jersey ave across from glass store! They do a superior job, it's a family business and they talk English! I took my half way crappy done nails to Christie's and they fixed the mess that sunrise made. I was getting acrylics also so she said three were 3 women that do a great job. I rearranged my schedule to get there at 1 and a man took me back for my pedicure. Then when I broke a nail they told me it was no charge then when I went in for a nail fix they charged me $7 for one nail. Charge me after I've been told it was free for broken nails to be fixed. Then they told me well if it's over 3 weeks you have to pay and it was a week and a half! They didn't even know when I was in they never checked they just made up that I was in 3 weeks ago and so yeah I was lied to not once but twice. Not a good place at all.
