They have limos available for shopping trips, church or theater. They have a swimming pool on site with instructors for aqua size. I have been very impressed with what I've seen so far. My mothers apartment is lovely. Housekeeping is included and they come every week to clean her unit. This facility is wonderful and my mother is very happy there.

On my last visit I was really impressed by the open-ness of the place. The hallways are wide, with nice open dining areas and areas for the residents to congregate and socialize. His room is well lit and quite large with bay style windows overlooking a courtyard. He has his own little kitchenette area, sitting area and a large bathroom. They have allowed him to keep his senior dog with him, which is really helpful to give him some sense of normalcy when his memory permits. Unfortunately his memory is really slipping at this point, so they have signs up reminding him that he doesn't need to feed the dog because there is an automatic feeder and somebody will be by at certain times to feed the dog. I know it seems like a strange thing for me to focus on but it's the little things that matter because if you can't manage the small things I wonder what the bigger issues are that are being neglected. At exactly four o'clock as the sign noted somebody knocked on the door to walk the dog. I worked in the pest control industry and can verify his room did not have any bedbug or pest problems. The staff was also very attentive to everybody's needs that I saw and super patient with the residents who have failing memories. I didn't have an appointment to visit so it's not like they 'prepped' the room for me. My sister's husband out in California has a father in a facility as well, and when I sent them the pictures I took of the place they were impressed, as they said where her husbands father was it was completely depressing and shabby looking. Between that and the news story's you always see I admittedly expected this place to be like that, and to find neglected residents, but what I found was a super pleasant surprise. None of what I saw resembled anything in the previous review here. Now all of this comes at a substantial cost mind you, but that's the thing with these facilities. You get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, all residential centers are super expensive, but don't settle for the first one you find. If you're lucky you'll find something nicer like this available near you.

The good people don't stay because they set them up to fail!!! If you complain they start building their case against you! They feel they can always fill your bed so if you give them a hard time they will make it hell for your loved one and family! They caused sores in my fathers groin area from never changing depends, and then failed to treat wounds for months, my Dad laid on the ground bleeding for 6+ hours before anyone discovered him, they did not shower him for 52 days- I could go on and on- just stay away from here! Save yourself a lot of heartache!! We are now in the process of moving my 98 year old Dad but even posting this scares me that they will retaliate in some way! He might be put out on the streets!

Between other family members I have probably been to at least two dozen area senior care centers (from alright to not acceptable). None of them come close to the care our mother has received here. I called many other facilities that had a continuum of care and they all said that our mother would be skilled nursing (because she requires help transferring and dressing) which would be $6,000+ per month for a shared one room. St. Agnes said they thought they could get her to improve and be more independent and they were right. Here she has her own studio apartment. They are genuinely concerned about all aspects (physical, mental and spiritual) of our mother's wellbeing. She has been here only a month and we have already seen a physical and mental improvement in her. The nuns are very compassionate and coordinate every aspect of her care.

I should have know it would be a horrible process from the start I was texted and confirmed a…read moreinterview just to show up and everyone act like the dont know whats going on and I was an unwatned guess thankful I see a familiar face a woman I use to work with and she asked why i was there I told her an interview and she went to get to get someone for me and asked the lady was she doing my interview right in my face this woman said no I'm not doing nothing I should have left then but I didnt so I wait longer and finally someone comes i already did a application just to have to do it all over again there interview wasn't really an Interview she just mention all the horrible things current workers do like sleeping on the clock not ordering meds and keeping cart together told me all those thing woukd get u fired which is obvious to me I was then told I was offered the job they just had to check with their sister company I worked for and waiting on my background check just for me to call back a week later to check and see whats going on and to be told something different that they had been reaching out since the end of May but I just went to my interview last week on June 2nd and like a said that was horrible and unorganized with so much miscommunication that I should have turned around soon as I step foot in the building but if u know nursing u know how it can be sometime I talked to someone today just to be told they haven't started the background check yet because they have been reaching out to me but that's not true I have no calls or text from after June 2nd on top of that she was rude barley me get a word in so thank you Morgan kinda glad it happened all the red flag where there so I told her don't worry I'm fine I will find another place if this is how it is before I don't wanna work there anyways

BUT, I can say as a current graduate student of occupational therapy (shameless plug, if you have no idea what that is, ask me!) who has spent a lot of time in various assisted living facilities, this place is GREAT! I got a chance to speak to some of the residents while assessing the facility & the community is beautiful! The facilities are in tip-top shape & the services provided are above average. The staff seem to be very friendly & in-tune with the residents. When I'm 85+ & still kickin', please send me here!
