Very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. The staff and doctor's explained everything to me and next steps. Very much appreciated.

These reviews must be a joke. Today I went in with my son, and from the energy of the front desk…read morestaff, I knew the experience was not going to be pleasant. The receptionist did not even greet me. She told me to "hold on one second" and then told the doctor that I had my baby with me, which I understood could be an issue. I said that was okay and that I would come back when I had childcare. However, she insisted that I could still do a consultation. It felt like the only reason for this was so they could still collect a payment from me. I explained that the doctor already had my X-rays and records, and that I could simply reschedule, but the receptionist kept insisting. I spoke with the Doctor, and he barely gave me any information before telling me to wait in another room for an examination. At that point, I started to feel uncomfortable, so I walked out and told them to call me to reschedule. Then the patient coordinator told me I owed $56.78. I said that was fine, but I needed to go to the bank to get the money. Her attitude immediately became rude and nasty toward me. I went to the bank, got the money, and came back to pay without any issue. One major red flag was that no one could clearly explain the total cost of procedures. At every other dentist office I have been to, I have always been given straightforward pricing information. Here, they could never give me a clear answer about costs or fees. Overall, this place felt more focused on getting money than providing quality patient care.

Makes you want to spend the whole day in the waiting room. But no. They are professional and get you back to the rooms with expediency. Then there's the surgical rockstars. They get you prepped up and keep nice and calm. I don't anxiety when seeing Doctors, but they talk your through it and I bet would keep you nice and calm if you did experience anxiety or fear. They pre-numb you with plenty of gel. Then there's Dr injects you with enough to ensure you're not even remotely uncomfortable during the procedure. Dr. Boquel kept pausing during the lidocaine injections, to ensure I was ok. I have a high pain threshold, but I didn't have any pain at all. I told him I can tolerate a bit of pain, and he was reassuring me saying that He doesn't want me to have any pain at all. I guess other previous surgeons were cheaping out on the lidocaine. This place prioritizes your comfort, and I REALLY appreciate that. Just because someone can take a little pain doesn't mean they should have to. It's the next day after getting HUGE implant screwed into my skull, and I'm feeling no pain. And I literally mean screwed. He was using a little socket wrench tool to screw this thing in. I felt like a car engine being worked on. But seriously, I'm not in any pain. I thought I would need some really good pain killers like oxy; like what you get after an extraction. But no. They prescribe only 600 of ibuprofen, and I only took 2 of those so far. 1 soon as I got home, and 1 right before bed. I don't even think I'll need them at all today. Dr. Boquel has the magic touch!

Cut throat and gouging practice!!! Our daughter was…read morereferred to this practice by our dentist to have all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed since impacted. We checked and our dental plan confirmed to be in-network and gave me a list of what the detailed price outlined should be for the procedure. The oral surgery was scheduled and we received an estimate in the mail which was completely different than what our insurance quoted max charges would be from the contract prices. In resume the estimate was over $1000 from the contracted prices with our insurance company. Our own insurance told us to discuss the huge differences in price as quoted; so on the day of the surgery I asked for an explanation and was told by the manager of the practice that since Marianna had maxed out out coverages for the year except for $81.00 then at that point they can charge whatever they want and not binded by the insurance contracted price, so basically they can treat us as if having no insurance.

I called the office and was told I would have to fill out the same forms that we have filled out before they would even schedule an emergency appointment. This is a set of 4 documents that we had previously filled out with no changes. I asked the staff to have Dr Woodward call me. He did not. I sent a written complaint to Dr Woodward. He responded 2 weeks later defending his duplicate documents before appointment policy, accused me of being rude and said he refused to speak with me anymore as it was "his legal right". My mother in law speaks no English, I am the primary on the insurance and 100% support her. She is my dependant. We called another oral surgeon who was more concerned about my mother in laws health than paperwork and he got us right in called our dentist and had us fill out the paperwork at the appointment. We had used Dr Woodward exclusively for oral surgery so I guess we were used to poor treatment. It was refreshing to see a provider that cares. My family lives under constant despair due to the war and relatives fighting and dying. It was nice that the new oral surgeon showed compassion instead of insulting us and adding stress
