You're not going to entertain young kids in this park for very long. There's not playground equipment and the small area would make me paranoid about kids running into the road. However, if you want a nice, sunny area to have a picnic on the grass, or read a book on a park bench then this is the place for you. By the way, if you don't want to read a book in the park, check out the tiny library that's there. Very cute. As a visitor to the area, I would have liked to see a sign explaining the tomatoes.

A new 3 acre park for all sizes of mans best friend. It's divided into three areas of small dog,large dog and general area . Nice benches and picnic tables are placed about as well as modern,clean restrooms. All grass lawn areas with plenty of room to roam. There's even a convenient watering hole for hydration of humans and K9z. This place is pretty great and if you like dog parks,check this one out.

The memorial to veterans is beautiful. Take s ride and do something different. It does cost bit plenty of discounts if you qualify. January 1st prices will go up. Be careful of the roots on trails. Wear good shoes that support your ankles. Not all the paths are full of roots. Take your time be mindful and be careful. Worth it. It has handicap paths too.

Anyway, the poop bags/bins are well-spaced and parking isn't an issue. The people who come here and whoever maintains this dog park truly care and do a good job at keeping it clean and pleasant for others to enjoy. This is a mulch park, so keep that in mind. I also recommend having some poop bags at the ready because it's nearly impossible to distinguish one "log" from another if you have to walk away to retrieve a bag.
