After over 3 years of residency, my move-out was met with a persistent series of obstacles and predatory billing practices. The lack of professionalism started before I even moved. The office aggressively dodged my loan officer while I was trying to close on my new home. I eventually had to go to the office in person and put my loan processor on speakerphone because they lied about not having 'authorization'--which I had provided multiple times. Worse, they falsely claimed they had been in contact with my loan officer and that she was ignoring them. My loan officer confirmed this was a complete fabrication; they simply weren't responding. After I moved out on Dec 2nd, the bad faith continued. I requested a joint walkthrough--denied. I tried to return my keys in early Jan--they refused. They waited 50 days to 'inspect' the unit and are now keeping my $200 deposit plus billing me an additional $147.00 for cleaning and damages! I am a reasonable person and have no issue paying the fair, prorated cost for minor repairs I documented. I acknowledge a quarter-sized hole in one wall and a small iron mark on the carpet. However, I refuse to be overcharged for a full apartment renovation. They are charging: * $467.52 for carpet replacement (ignoring the 3+ years of use and Texas law regarding proration). * $105.70 for paint/wall 'repairs'--an outrageous charge for one small hole. * $147.00 for 'cleaning/damages' like a structural leak - which left the apartment moldy and 'roach activity' that didn't exist when I left. I have a time-stamped video from Jan 3rd showing the unit was in clean, well-maintained condition. They are ignoring the Texas Property Code and attempting to make me pay for an upgrade rather than fair repairs. I am now filing for treble damages in Bexar County Justice Court. What really stood out to me, though, was Abby. From the moment we met, she was warm, empathetic, and genuinely kind. She took the time to listen, showed real care and compassion, and never made the experience feel rushed or transactional. Her approach felt thoughtful and understanding, and it created such a comfortable, positive atmosphere throughout the tour. Even though I ultimately decided to stay at my current property due to a change in my circumstances, this had nothing to do with the community or the service; MAA Bulverde left a lasting impression, and Abby made the entire experience feel human, respectful, and uplifting. It was one of the warmest sales experiences I've had, and I truly appreciated her professionalism and heart. If you're looking for a beautiful community and someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right fit, Abby is absolutely wonderful!

They went in my apartment not knowing i had cameras and went through my belongings the first month i moved in. Promised washer and dryers then never provided them. However, I am completely dissatisfied with management. Every time I need to call, or go into the office (which is rare) I am greeted with deadpan faces. EXCEPT when a potential future resident is in office, then the welcome is very different. There are a few things that have needed fixing for the past year that have not been addressed, please note: these are on property grounds and not directly in my apartment. For example, the dog park fence has HUGE gaps of eroded fence that dogs escape from, this is very dangerous if children, other animals, and humans are passing by. Especially if the dog escaping is aggressive in nature. I have seen big dogs barrel through the fence, different dogs, multiple times. There are a few eroded electrical boxes on the grounds that have needed change for, at least, the duration of my tenant-ship. As for the wooded area in the middle, there have been coyotes and deer that pop out of nowhere. A coyote ran past my puppy and I on one of the night walks. The grounds itself could use a little more love and attention, our rent prices do not reflect positively on the upkeep of the community. My oven was on for a very long time, causing me to have a VERY high electric bill (over $600 for one month ONLY), even though it was not programmed to be on. Meaning I was not cooking, nor did I forget it turned on. It was completely off and cancelled, so unless I was near it, and felt the heat while not cooking, I would have not known that it was running. I have pets, and there are many children and residents in this building. This is unsafe. The appliances seem to be kicking the bucket. When I mentioned my electricity bill to management, they just said "put a service request to get it fixed" with 0 accountability or even understanding. My AC broke right before labor day weekend, it took 4 days to resolve. For issues like this, especially since we are in Texas, AC maintenance should be top 5 on the list of emergency maintenance. The only thing The View at TPC could offer me was some kind of unit that pulls out the hot air.... Again, for the rent prices that is not acceptable. Don't get me started on the corridors and elevators. Absolutely disgusting. Not only in the building I reside in, but also the buildings that my friends live in. Gabby's customer service is not at all where it needs to be. I have spoken to a few residents about it, and that has been the general feedback, although a few did say they have had a good experience. There are conduits (maybe they're called gutters?) in the grass around the community grounds, that do not have lids/covers. I have almost stepped in one while walking my dog, that would have been an absolute disaster, and grounds to seek legal counsel. The truth of the matter is that other than David coming through to fix things (because I am confident it will be completely fixed), I really disliked living in this community. I considereded extending for a few more months, for personal reasons, but decided I absolutely would not, because I am so unbelievably unhappy here. Anyone who asks me about The View at TPC, I quite frankly tell them to stay away. This community is marketed (from my understanding) as luxury apartments. I can assure you, that is absolutely false advertisement.

The price…read morefor this place and the square footage you get is better than what other apartments are offering so I'm not discouraging people from moving in, but my experience has been a total mess. I'll start by saying the people who live here are so kind and helpful, and while some just mind their business, I have made some friends here. Some residents here don't pick up after their animals and the mosquitos and wasps nest are insane here too. I personally have no incidents to report of any car break-ins but they had to close the mailbox room after 8pm due to people breaking into the mailboxes, and for a while the gate would be broken majority of the time but the past few months it hasn't, consequently if it being broken the gate opens super slowly and you have to be basically almost touching the gate for the sensor to work. I can't say the same for all apartments here, but I had a mold problem on vents and some of my window's glasses weren't fully sealed, so mold grew there too. The carpet was obviously old and I don't think they replace the apartments carpets as frequently as required. The building could be made of glass, everything breaks or bends when you mess with them slightly, but i'm assuming it's this way so they can strip you of your deposit. Inspections this year were crazy and there was no communication between maintenance, the office, and what was said to their residents. They inspected our building over 6 times for various reasons and one time our apartment specifically due to "lack of cleanliness". They don't tell you this when you move in, but mentioned in the lease it does have it and written that it needs to be clean and don't really specify what is actually required. They mean that in it needs to be SPOTLESS and deep cleaned anytime there is an inspection or if maintenance comes to fix something in your apartment. Specifically, Yassy, the assistant manager, has come into my apartment and berated at me about how dirty my place was and has pressured maintenance in front of me to explain what was seen as "awful" in my apartment, but they couldn't give an answer. I have a cat, and she states she's allergic to cats, so when she went on a rant about how hard it was to breathe in my apartment I'm going to assume maybe it's because you're allergic and not that my place stinks. Yassy has reportedly done this to multiple people living in this complex and is known for having an uncaring and unkind attitude. They hired someone to take over for the lease agent position during my time here and I'm not sure how he treats people touring, but every time i've talked with him his immediate response is to talk to a manager. I can't tell if he's lazy or wasn't trained well, but he is making management's jobs a whole lot harder and wasting my time, considering it's rare you see them in the office and getting ahold of them on the phone is also a rare occurrence. Keep this all in mind when looking at this place because it may not be for you, especially if you have any kids or animals.
