The movie ended at 10pm and as we were walking out, we noticed a couple of claw machines on our way out and I gave my nephew $5 to play before we left. Well this rude lady comes from a door near the claw machines, maybe security I dunno cause she wasn't in a uniform but with a pretty ridiculous attitude she says "YOU ALL MEED TO LEAVE, the mall is closed!!" I looked at her and said "Excuse me!" And with an attitude again she said the same thing..... so I told her she ask politely without being a B! The mall should not have movies that end that late if this lady is going to harass people on their way out..... I was treating my family to a fun night and it was just nonsense how she acted. If she is part of your employment.... Maybe find someone who is actually wanting a job and considerate. Unnecessary drama for no reason. Side note- all the theater employees and the movie was amazing!!!!

Quarry Creek Elk & Bison company is a pretty neat shop just North of Fort Madison, Iowa. They have…read morejust about everything (furniture, clothes, boots, gifts, pickled stuff, sweets, etc.). Every time we are in Iowa (1-2 times a year) we stop in mainly for 3 things: 1) cheddar cheese, 2) Elk or Bison sausage and 3) to check out and get pictures of the Elk and Bison roaming in their pins near the building. Probably some new additions to our "things we get from Quarry Creek Elk & Bison Company list" would be Little Buffalo Horns (chocolate covered cashews) and Elk Drops (chocolate covered caramels) which can be found right next to the registers. We see the same people each time we come. They are all very nice and welcoming. This is a place we will continue to visit for years to come. I urge you to stop in if you happen to be in the area.

Kohl's cash isn't what you think it is…read more I just got back from returning a PS4 and extra controller at Kohl's here in Burlington. I bought the console and then, the next day with the $80 Kohl's cash I got for the console's purchase, bought another controller and charging cradle. I didn't like the PS4 over the PS3 and it didn't meet my needs so I returned it. What I didn't understand (and its right there clear as mud on the receipt which refers you to the Kohl's cash coupon for the details) is that if you use the Kohl's cash and then return everything they only credit the purchase price minus the Kohl's cash. So I paid $427 for the console and got $80 in Kohl's cash. They credited my credit card back for $347 and then gave me another $80 in Kohl's cash. So now, I'm paying $80 in interest on a purchase I returned. I feel that is unethical and they wouldn't fix it so I cut up my credit card right there. I'll pay off the balance of my card and then I'm through with this overpriced company whose business model is to milk as much money out of its customers as possible.

The store is unassuming, located in a quiet corner of Westland Mall, but I had nothing short of a five-star experience and love the items I purchased. Went into Kohls on Saturday and bought some summer clothes. Since they no longer have the changing…read morerooms I came back the next day to return a pair of shorts that were too small. When I came back the next day I realized that they had also removed their return center and, hence, I had to go up to the checkout area. Catori, the woman at the register who called us over, exuded an incredible amount of attitude immediately. When I approached her register I hesitantly asked if I could make a return there and she said "yeah" while rolling her eyes, seemingly wanting me to vanish. From there, she snatched the bag out of my hands to start processing the return. As she rummaged through the bag she huffed and scoffed every time she retrieved something. She again gave me an attitude when I pulled out my debit card assuming I would have to swipe it to receive my refund. After that she took my kohls cash that I hadn't received less than 24 hours previously, and scanned it to see if it was "still valid". She scanned it very quickly and slammed it down on the counter stating that it was not. I believe she just after my kohls cash, wanting it all for her greedy self. My thoughts raced as I grasped at any possible explanation- "And what should a 16-year old girl need her precious Kohl's Cash for? Hmmmm? For Nee-dohs? Labubus? For a bag of Wallace's black licorice? As lined the aisle of the winding, labyrinth-esque, neon walls which threatened as they closed in on me? After I endured the tortuous Kohl's check out line? In a god-forsaken liminal space designed to test my inner strengths." After the encounter, I remained visibly shaken, unable to process what had just occurred. I whispered to my girlfriend, trying to make sense of what had happened in the Kohl's store on Prairie Crossing, in Quincy Il on Sunday the twelfth of April, on the year of our lord and savior, two thousand and twenty-six. " What the frick was that?" The worst part was that I still needed to go and purchase the shorts in the right size, however, as you may understand, there was no way I was going to risk going back through CaToRi's checkout lane.
