The kitchen was fully stocked bathrooms were very clean and beds were pretty comfortable. The resort was maintained very well and had a lot of docks To fish around. They also had plenty of slips to store your boat. They also had a nice gravel lot for trailer storage. They also had a clubhouse for the weight in and after tournament Buffet. You can tell it is family owned and they take pride in it. From the fully stocked pool towels, the spotless rooms, the clean fresh scent everywhere, and the well maintained facilities and amenities - nothing here has been allowed to slide. Everything is open longer than other hotels, the service is fast and friendly, outside is well lit and spotless. Chain hotels around here charge more, and offer much less. I highly recommend!

I got a hotel room for the week so I could have my own space. The hotel rooms don't have kitchens and there also weren't hair dryers in either the hotel or the cabins. Luckily, I had read through the website and brought my own. The cabins are a bit outdated but they did have a full kitchen. I enjoyed sitting on the porch while overlooking the lake. My nephew enjoyed the playground and was fascinated by the older slide. The game room seemed as it hadn't changed at all. There was at least one machine that took your money. The pool table also got jammed at least once. The pool was heated. My mom and nephew went swimming on the one day it wasn't raining. The pool was fine until the sun went away. We visited in October so they were lucky to use the pool at all. Being in close proximity to the lake, there was a lot of fishing that was done. Overall, this is a quiet resort. We had a great time visiting again. The hotels and cabins were extremely affordable (hotel was less than $400 for a week). Hopefully we will visit again in the summer when we can enjoy the lake more.

The room appeared to be freshly updated and had clean and nice amenities including a nice bathroom and shower and all the shampoo and lotion and soaps smelled wonderful - like coconut and Pinacolada. I like that the room key is a bracelet which makes it easy to wear and keep up with. I wish all hotels did this. There were no working ice machines on the grounds (yes there are machines but there was no ice in said machines available to the guests), which isn't favorable. The front desk said it had been busy, which again I get, but you need to keep up with the demand. The workout room wasn't anything, and the indoor pool wasn't desirable. The room was your standard room. The others in our group had a much nicer room so I hope that the rest of the resort is trying to look the same. Please out window sheers behind the curtains so those who are in the rooms can open the curtains and not expose everything since it's all right there. The Encore pool was nice. For those who don't drink, being told you can't bring water into the pool isn't a good idea. When the pool is being used for the parties, yes I'd understand more but this was during the day. The security guard wouldn't stop staring either. I'm pretty sure we will be there again in a few months for the next conference so I hope updates are being made. Yes I wrote this a few months later as I'm getting caught up on reviews and yes I hope it's much better when and if the company picks here again for their conference.

The older lady was rude and continued to state I booked 2. Another young lady came over and stated it was an on line glitch and cancelled the second room but the Manager Mel would only refund me half of the room fee for a second room I never booked. Now I have to dispute the charge. Don't book on line. The room stunk, the door doesn't seal when fully shut. You can hear everyone around you because it's poorly insulated and just a dirty property. I would never stay again, very disappointing for the 1st time at Lake of the Ozarks.
