I can't even. I was just so desperate to get myself under a roof for a few nights.. and not have to sleep in my car crammed with my belongings for another night- let alone with my cat. Ok.. i was grateful that they allow pets.. But. Now I'm kind of contemplating going back to sleeping in my car.. I could not get a lick of sleep because I had to keep swatting off cockroaches!!!! Please imagine a mound of cockroaches, Little ones a lot of little ones! In the bathroom on your bed under your carpet on your walls dangling over your drink next to you. Crawling up your legs! There is food, and God knows what splattered all over the walls there are putty patches everywhere, exposed wires and gaping holes underneath a filthy air conditioning unit that doesn't even work and smells rotten like something died in it. the floorboards that go underneath the mini refrigerator are lift with nails. that's another hiding spot for the roaches and pests. there is no closet door. . There is no lighting in the closet. it's just a dark cave. I suppose there's no lighting because they don't want you to see how long it's been since it's been vacuumed, they don't want you to know how it really looks when you open the ripped up curtains with holes in it and let the light come in. There were cockroaches in between the towels that came with the room there were drugs in the lining of the refrigerator door and the Coldwater knob in the bathroom did not work and the tub floor is rusted and chipped. The shower curtain had cockroaches hidden in every fold. The toilet didn't work. And they were shit stuck to the edges. This is unbearable, this place is disgusting. What a nightmare im in! I want my money back. Last night there was a big commotion when I arrived, there were two people in the back of the parking lot near the alley about to fight! And this would have been a murder waiting to happen- is a ridiculous match- comparing the sizes of each of them one being much much larger than the other in the smaller guy begging him to throw fists. The owner just stood out there and watched and threatened to call the cops. I guess the little guy was getting kicked out and didn't wanna leave and brass knuckles guy was telling him to get off the property. That guy is next-door to my room and, it turns out HE is the one who actually does the house cleaning in that motel. He told me that the property owners vacuum is broken and said he was sorry about the bugs. And made a grotesque face when talking about the restrooms and the walls in each room especially after a guest has been in it for a month. He says he is expected to clean that mess let behind, but he admits that he doesn't. He says the property manager lets him live there rent free. Also his house cleaning person next-door to me, is a striker he has firearms and brass knuckles and he sells drugs. He says the manager is COOL WITH IT. I had paid $480 with $100 deposit. Before knowing all of this and knowing the conditions of the place. (I'm sorry) but What the fuck is the deposit for if nobody's doing anything about the conditions here and sickening quality of the rooms?? This motel doesn't even deserve one star! read more

Okay where do I even start.... pulled into the driveway and first thing I see, some very sketchy people standing around ,dismissed them continued to the manager's window. He was nice and asked how many beds and for how long his exact words " how long? One night? a couple ?or just an hour? " gross but still we proceeded. 80$ bucks later and a room the size of a matchbox we settled in. Checked in around 4pm immediately you can hear not only EVERY FOOT STEP ABOVE US BUT ALMOST EVERY WORD THEY SPOKE. Clearly the people above us lived there and had at least two young kids up extremely late it sounded like there was a drill team above me. Finally after calling the manager and explaining either move my room or refund my money he said he would handle it. It did work for the most of the night but returned bright and early the following morning 5am. Around 7pm my boyfriend went to turn on the heater and of course the dial didn't work so he popped the bottom to see if it was lit and there was a freaking syringe ditched in there!!!!!!!!!! Wtf ...since we had already started drinking we didn't want to risk leaving and getting a dui once again we proceeded are night stay (without heat). 5am kids running above us loud stomping and talking. 530 car pulls up right outside of are window and is playing music extremely loud 7 car returns 9 packed are shit and left..... in the parking lot a chick is screaming into a car at another female "i want my money... you gonna give me my money!" In the end this place is not a place I'd ever come back to or even ever bring it up to someone looking for a room. Plus side..... shower was great ...nice and big ....super hot water. Buuuuuut if you shower to long youll turn your entire room in the world most hot boxed matchbox. read more

Well sadly my stay(I'm still living this suck ass nightmare, in room four and it's only midnight) WTF is going on in this place. Everything I've read but for the syringe in the heater is true 1) 65 dollars was quoted on the phone but then I was asked for a 10 dollar CASH deposit. Let's see what happens when I ask or it back in the morning. I'm gonna bet I'll never see that $10 again. 2) Got tweakers upstairs probably cooking meth and stomping around. I also complained and the owner, I guess, said he'd handle it andas I walk in my room, I hear this meth head shout at the top of his lungs and stomp even louder. I'm a relatively big and muscular guy so with all my might I start slamming my fist on the wall....and that seemed to take care of it, lol. 3) Cars driving trough with kids running in and out, and not being watched, bumpin' loud music all evening long. I'm cool with the kids, I love kids havin' fun but please please Please don't let that fast movin' impala doesn't run them over!!! I will say the cleaning lady, who also lives in one of the rooms was real nice, but dude at the front desk can go to hell. I'm guessing that asshole makes an extra $10 per guest pulling that shit with the deposit. Anyway stay the hell away from this place. Makes the Bates Motel look like The Waldorf Astoria PS. I just walked out of my room and I hear a kid crying in one room and someone screaming "F... my p....!" from the room next to it. Stay classy Yukaipa!!! read more

Owner has no customer service, thrift store decor and trashy place. No hot water for a shower and,when mentioned it,was told that we can just leave in the morning then. No complaints allowed! Wall furnance didn't work,there was a small heater on the table...to heat the whole room. Exposed wires at heater control. Toilet paper holder didn't even work! Furnished by yard sale free stuff. Plastic flowers "growing" in the planters. Classy. Terrible place....and 70 bucks to sleep there!!! Plus key deposit. read more

There is no way this deserves more that one star on anyone's scale. There's a review with 5 stars. Must be the owner...no, I'm serious. It is disgusting. I'm willing to stay at really bad hotels but this was one of those "car hotels" The type where you'd rather pay to sleep in your own car than have to stay there. True story. Horrid. To be fair, all of the hotels in Yucaipa are this way. How do I know? I tried to stay in all of them. They really are ALL that bad. Don't stay the night in this town, sleep elsewhere and then come back for the super cute "uptown" Yucaipa. Great antique/vintage shops up there. Sleep in Redlands or anywhere else. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!! I'm pretty sure this place violates all of the building, safety, and health codes in California. It is extremely dirty on the inside (don't let the decent exterior fool you)!!! The owner lied to me and told me the rooms were non-smoking, so I paid for the room with my credit card ($65). When I walked into the room, the stench nearly made me pass out. The furniture, bed, and paint on the walls were in shambles. I walked right back to the owner and demanded he give me my money back for lying to me. He refused and said his credit card machine wouldn't let him. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company in order to get my money back. HUGE HASSEL...and I ended up paying $5 more for a much much nicer hotel only a few miles away. DON'T LET THE HIGH RATINGS ON GOOGLE FOOL YOU!!! THIS PLACE IS A DUMP FILLED WITH METH ADDICTS AND PROSTITUTES!! read more

I just called to make a reservation. The person on the other end of the phone -- thick accent, very difficult to understand -- said I had to come in person. He said it was $65 plus a $10 deposit. When I asked to reserve the room on my credit card, he said that would be an additional $5 for credit card, but he wouldn't take it over the phone, insisting I had to come in person. His accent was so hard to understand I had to ask my questions two or three times. When I finally understood that I had to show up, I asked him what the chances were of my getting a room when I arrived in two hours. He said someone just walked into the lobby to take the one remaining room. What a waste of 15 minutes!!! Don't waste your time unless you are already at the counter. read more
