What the heck happened to this rest area??…read more It used to be well-maintained and clean; however, during a recent stop en route to Palm Springs, I could not believe how filthy and gross this rest stop was, including the parking area and restrooms. The men's restroom had human feces on the ground, and the sink area, no paper towels or toilet paper were available, no soap to wash my hands, there were flies everywhere, and I could go on and on, but this pretty much describes the deplorable conditions of this entire place. I felt bad for a mailman who walked in, desperately looking for a toilet, only to take one look around and immediately leave. The sad thing is that there are no restaurants, gas stations, etc I'm in the area for miles, so this poor man was going to have to hold it for who knows how long?? I sure hope whoever is responsible for maintaining this rest area does a MUCH better job.

Over the last few months regardless of the pump I use it doesn't work. The pump will either say declined or please see cashier. (There is money in my account) It's so frustrating as it's a frequent thing and I keep stopping here hoping my card will work.. I fuel up at other arco stations with no problem. When I did go in and say something to the clerk, I was told it happens as the pumps lose communication for using debit/credit cards.. It's been like this for many months and it's still happening. You would think it would be fixed as I don't have that issue at any other station.. I will drive the 30 miles and use arco by my work then waste 7 minutes trying to use my card each time at your store..

I had my travel Lysol bottle with me (I always do a preliminary wipe down if I stay somewhere cuz you never know) but honestly at this place as I cleaned and wiped I noticed that everything looked immaculate. The bedding was white and fresh. Fluffy to the touch. A.C. worked great. We truly felt so comfy despite it being almost 12" degrees outside. Fresh Hot breakfast was amazing with all the goodies one needs to start out the day. And all the offers of a continental breakfast were available too. We had so many choices. Coffee was tasty and I mean really good. I'm picky about coffee and this place was so on point!!
