Eight weeks later, after countless excuses and no completed work, I finally decided enough was enough and went to retrieve my wheels. Looking back, I should have paid attention to the 3.4-star rating and the numerous negative reviews. Every time I called to ask about the status, there was a new excuse. The final explanation was that the humidity was causing delays. A professional powder coating shop should have the proper equipment and environmental controls to account for humidity. Hearing that only reinforced my impression that this shop lacks the competence and quality standards expected of a professional business. To make matters worse, the work they did complete was unacceptable. I now have to take my wheels to a reputable powder coating shop to have them redone correctly, meaning I paid this shop for work that ultimately has to be fixed. Seems you should be able to buy a whole lot of sand for that. Anyway it was a half ass job.
