That is essentially what happened here. The excuse provided. We disagree. The home's storm drains are a few feet from the front door....not looked at,not remarked at, totally forgotten in the inspection. And they just happened to be full to the brim. Very obvious if they were to be looked at. We found out at the first rain since closing. Chance to walk away from house: taken from us. Chance to make preparations to fix it before the first rain causes an emergency: not provided to us. Chance to ask for concessions: didn't get it. Literally the second biggest thing possible, missed. What are 150 pages of inconsequential, small issues when you miss something like this??? Scrambling to find a drain pro on the day of 1st big rain in a while...when everyone else is doing the same thing: great. Seeing our yard under water was great too. Having only one company even available to come by after calling close to 20,also great. Almost $3000 in emergency unclogging of storm drains,wonderful too. That's just the immediate cost. There's way more coming. And when you contact Lunspro for a chance to make this remotely fair they say: sign a release and we'll give you half your inspection fee back Consider my story before thinking they'll do a decent job with their eyes. If you get lucky, maybe. If you don't know any better, also maybe. This is the definition of a lackluster excuse for unprofessional conduct.

Choosing Cook's Radon, was the easiest decision we have had to make in the multiple phases of a massive remodel / renovation on our new home (built 2002). The solution offered by Cook's Radon was thoughtfully geared toward what was best for our individual situation, safest, least intrusive, and also considered aesthetics, too, when it came to the exterior venting and motor location, and we genuinely appreciate that. Additionally, Cook's credentials and sophisticated test equipment gave them the edge. Before occupying the home, we monitored radon levels in our unfinished basement for several months with a quality detector that is able to store data long-term in graph form, and we previously saw averages in the 4-5 pCi/L range, with spikes as high as 8.0. The short-term returned at 27.6 pCi/L and the long-term at 12.1 ± 1.6 pCi/L. These results are horrifying! After some research on mitigation specialists, I decided on Smart Space Atlanta. Within 48 hours after installation of the mitigation system, which was pretty much custom since I requested they conceal the system running it through my floors and ceiling versus outside alongside my house, my radon average was 0.3. Fast forward to two years later, I tested two separate areas of the basement with short-term test conducted by Alpha Energy Labs. The room furthest away from the mitigation system returned at Less than 0.9 pCi/L and the main area of the returned at less than 0.7 pCi/L. These are pretty amazing results!
