For those of you reading the other reviews about it being hot in the summer because of no AC, THERE IS NOW AC! The reception hall and all the back rooms are fully air conditioned! She was quick to answer questions and sent tons of helpful information and checklists which helped me every step of the way. The venue is absolutely stunning! We used The Grove for our ceremony, however there are different areas you can use and they're all beautiful. The reception barn is rustic and so gorgeous in itself you don't have to use a lot of decor. Need decor!? No problem, this place has a plethora of decor you have access to. Kalli has a list of vendors she recommends and they too, did not disappoint!! SCR is not only affordable, you get the entire weekend. We decorated the day before and it was so nice and took stress away to be able to get that completed and not rush the day of. We were able to spend the day of wedding just getting ready and I, just enjoyed spending the day with my daughter. If this venue isn't close to you they have you covered there as well. Less than 1/2 a mile is Wildcatter Ranch and we had a wonderful stay there. Another plus to this venue is there are 2 bridal suites. We were able to get ready and hang out in one and the other was a beautiful location for bridal pictures. We did not have to rush around and clean to take pictures. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so intentional, peaceful, and truly special. This place is not just beautiful it's meaningful. Oak Meadow Ranch focuses on conservation and ethical animal care, and what really stood out to me is how they treat their animals with such respect. They do not believe in practices like deveining or declawing, everything is done in a way that prioritizes the animals' well-being, and you can feel that the second you step onto the property. We had the opportunity to experience their exotic animal encounters, and it was absolutely surreal getting up close and personal with these incredible animals in such a safe and respectful environment. You can tell they are genuinely cared for and loved. One of my favorite parts was getting to meet the owner and his daughter. The knowledge they shared, their passion for what they do, and the way they took their time with us, it was beyond impressive. You don't get that kind of personal experience just anywhere. Their customer service was truly top-tier. And let's not forget the dining, The Whitehorse Steakhouse was just as amazing. Such a perfect way to end the night. Hands down a 10/10 experience. It was winter time, and cold so we didnt spend too much time outside, but i did take a short walk around some of the trails and saw a deer. It was a early morning walk so no one had disturbed them yet. The room i stayed in had 4 twin size beds, a small kitchen area and one bathroom. There was a few rockers on the front porch and a fire pit with more seating not too far away. We spent most of the day in a community room with full kitchen, bathrooms and a bar area. It was a great space for our group. Lots of parking outside and lots of things to do outside as well. The place was clean and welcoming. There were several houses that you can rent as well, instead of having twin sized beds. Beautiful place!
