Their attitude was very suspicious of me, and made me extremely uncomfortable. I left when I could no longer stand the type of attention being paid to me. The other time I've been in this shop recently, I was with a white friend who was dressed quite well, and we were left to our own devices.

I can buy chemically crap anywhere. Please put these away from entrance and fitting rooms in a closed glass cabinet. They can be prominent without ruining the beauty of natural clean materials. This shop is hard to find, you can't see it from the street, so look for The Pub restaurant located in the Creamery building/ Arcata Play house. The store is behind the restaurant down a little alley. Amazingly low prices for the quality you get. Going there is like a treasure hunt!

I saw one similar on Holm Patches website but at less than one third the price, and my hat was purchased12 years old (no inflation?). I wasn't too sure they were actually DPC's because of the price ($12), but low and behold they are authentic DPC hats, and the shipping was only $6.88 for 2. Note: it's advertised as a safari style rush straw hat, s384, with no mention of the name DPC, which if I'm selling them I'd brag about the brand. Plus Alan gave me a discount when he found out I was working at my mother's house in Valdosta after Hurricane Helene, which I was also heavily affected by it at my house in Bluffton, SC. I can't say enough good words about my experience with HPH, but their service sets the gold standard on how to run an online store. Thanks again for all you do- Louis.
