So I went here for exactly that. But as soon as I walked in the store they were giving me weird looks. I'm use to this because I have tattoos on my neck. I immediately felt a sense of awkwardness based on the looks they were giving me. I spoke with a nice gentlemen at the front and told him what I'm looking for. He was a little standoffish. These are country hicks that obviously are a lil bias based on people's looks. He told me his boss is on the ranch but will be back later and can give me a price on what I want. His boss calls and says "no I can't make what you want". Funny because they said they could make whatever I want but now can't make it at all. If Ya want to be treated like you matter as a customer, this isn't the place for you.

Walking down main street this shop caught my eye…read more It's located where the candle store used to be (a few of the candles are still sold at the Gait Mercantile) and was simply drazzled in pearls and other sparkly morsels. Incredibly tempted by the $18 freshwater pearl necklace on a silk ribbon I waffled between the glittery and the thoughtful. When would I ever wear pearls? Now, I really wish I had purchased a necklace of them, just to say I had one, but alas. No string of lovely for me that day. All in all, I'd love to return and may look into if they ship. This is the first time I shopped at this store. I'm not a Brighton fan personally but they have a large and varied collection. The clothing was a bit conservative for me. I agree with Nosniv, that the clothes were geared towards 40ish women. They had lots of super cute non-Brighton accessories and I ended up purchasing some cute black fingerless gloves with a turquoise crocheted overlay. My Aunt (60+) ended up with a nice coat. The store was very welcoming from the storefront windows (great holiday display) to the staff within.
