This is Baby Kitten with the swollen eye. You can imagine how scared we were he had damaged it.

We came here last night in an emergency. When I called and she said they could see me at 5:50 at night I was so relieved. Our regular vet closes at 5 and it's hard to get emergency appointments. I live right down the street so I wish I would have known about this place sooner, I thought it was a specialist office or groomer lol. The girl at the front desk was very nice and handled a lady that was arguing about the price of her dogs medication very well. The doctor came out to intervene and calm this lady down and I felt went above and beyond to please the women, given she was freaking out and screaming about this poor dog and the price in front of me and a few other customers. As far as the building it is nothing special and it doesn't need to be. I don't care about decorations when my cat is sick or stressed to be there in the first place It's a doctor's office as long as they have what is needed and it's clean. Which I felt it was. Dr Patel seen us quickly and smiled at me when I caught eyes with him in the waiting room which made me feel welcome and seen. His assistant was friendly and made an effort to greet us when we came in. She always had a smile on her face. I watched her carry a dachshund who had some teeth removed out to mom and the way she held the dog made me feel like she really cared. She embraced the dog so lovingly. When we got back to the room we waited about ten minutes while a weight was taken and some details were given and then the doctor and the lady assistant came in. He looked at my cat's eye which was swollen with conjunctivitis and a bacterial infection, let me know what he thought and recommended. Then explained what the outcome would be. We had a good prognosis so I was relived for that. He did give first rounds of meds for us which was nice because my baby was stressed and he is big so he is strong. The price was great, there were no confusing charges for stuff like my other vet has and when I left I decided I will be switching here. My youngest already has an appointment for vaccines in 2 weeks. When my other two are feeling better they will come in as well.

I found the place for my baby. The service here is excellent. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet nurses and veterinarian give excellent service. The cost is also reasonable. I totally recommend for your fur baby.

I called Sunshine Animal Clinic on a Monday morning and was pleased to make a vet appointment for my puppy on the same day. The office is very clean, open and spacious and there is plenty of parking within the plaza it's located in. The receptionist, who also was the vet technician, and the veterinarian wore masks. Business owner and vet Dr. Patel says they opened shop in February of 2020. I especially liked how they did everything with our dog in front of my fiancé and me. This included taking my dog's temperature, administering shots and the general assessment. After having two negative experiences with a vet down the street from Sunshine Animal Clinic, I was happy to change vets and even happier to make an appt. the same day that I called the office. The services also were less expensive than the previous vet we took our puppy to. I found Sunshine because they were in the PetAssure network I have through my job which gives discounts on services for a monthly fee I pay. Sunshine is open 7 days a week. We already have our next appointment booked!

Cannot recommend them more! They are amazing such great knowledge and information on our sweet boy! The staff is caring and loving and will not over prescribe meds. They care immensely about the animals and their health and safety came to them for a second opinion and will now be using them as our primary vet!

This is my best friend Sophie!

Great service but did find it more expensive than past vet care. They took care of my babies like they were their own so I guess it's worth it

Fast forward to 3 years old, she went into heat for the first time. I was very confused and wanted to make sure she's okay, so I brought her into Fort Caroline Animal Clinic. The receptionist, vet tech, and doctor were beyond sweet. The doctor listened to me explaining my dog's history and why I'm concerned and she also was concerned, confused, but I could also tell that she's invested in getting to the bottom of what's going on. She's getting records from the clinic that did my dog's surgery and we will be doing an ultrasound to see if she has a uterus and what's going on before having her spayed. As someone who works in the human medical field, I usually get frustrated with lack of explanations from vets and even my own doctors, but I found that Dr. Lincoln was very descriptive in what could be the problem (if there is one) and what she can do to get the answers and outcome we need. I'm a dog mom of 3 and have brought my dogs to many many different vets in several different states; the services my dog was provided and care that was received was the best I've ever witnessed. My dog is also shy, doesn't care too much for people other than me and Dr. Lincoln and the vet tech navigated this smoothly while getting her temp, checking her heart, and administering vaccines. The price was slightly higher than I'm used to, but the price was worth it, in my opinion, because I know 100% that they care for their patients and will do whatever is necessary to make sure their patients are healthy and receive great care. I couldn't recommend this vet clinic enough and will continue to bring all 3 of my babies here.

Both Dr. Hightman and Dr. Sadderson are not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and I've always felt my pets were in the very best hands with them. I've had lots of medical things come up with my Doberman and she's always been taken care of and all problems have been resolved. From anemia, to injuries, to random issues. I've seen some reviews mentioning rude front staff but that has never been my experience. Every time I've come in, the staff has been kind, helpful and welcoming. I think it's important to remember that kindness goes both ways. if you treat people with respect, you're much more likely to get it in return. Even if someone has a bad day, maybe just be kind regardless and see how that shifts the tone. The ladies at the office are actually my favorite to interact with, so I'm just really surprised why others would say otherwise. Over the years this clinic has consistently gone above and beyond for me and my pets. I'm so grateful to have a vet I can trust and a team that truly cares. I highly recommend them!

Okay; updated review. I've been to this clinic on 3 different occasions now…read more 1st: dogs needed vaccines. I was surprised that they only do paper records and do not offer pro-heart injections for heartworm prevention. They have a weird excuse of saying it doesn't work for dogs in this area or something. None of my other vets have had problems with Pro-heart. The paper records are SO hard to read due to handwriting and layout of the papers. Even yesterday, I couldn't even tell if my dachshund had his rabies shot updated because I couldn't read the handwriting; neither can other vets. 2nd visit: more vaccines. I wasn't seen until 55 minutes after my appointment time. The receptionist decided to spend about 3 minutes trying to argue with me that boxers cannot be black, so she must be mixed breed. I finally had to inform her what reverse brindle is. The place felt so outdated and not clean. My dachshund is one of those dogs that barks until you pet him. The doctor just stood in the doorway holding his ears for 30 seconds until I asked him to just reach down and pet him one time and he will stop barking. He did and barking stopped. I know, my dog should be trained and has been through lots of training, but that behavior still has yet to change. It is what it is. I went back last month because my dachshund had runny nose, itching, a rash, hot spots on his paws. These people took his temperature and it was 103 degrees (fever) and automatically assume it's the new canine virus going on. Absolutely 0 tests were done; no blood work, no skin scraping, no nothing. They gave us lots of Doxycycline and that's all. He finished the Doxy within 2-3 weeks and STILL had issues. He's practically crawling out of his skin. I took him to our old vet that we were going to stop using since we moved 27 minutes away. This vet immediately said "This all sound like allergies; im not sure why they said it's this canine virus." An allergy panel was done and we were given amoxicillin, allergy meds, prednisone, and a cytopoint injection. The allergy test results came back and he's allergic to lamb, beef, fish, peas, and pecan trees. He's been exposed to both pecan trees and peas, so this is likely the reason for his allergic reaction. When my fiancé called to tell them our dog is still itching bad with little improvement and asked why they didn't run any tests, the receptionist had a major attitude problem and said she'd put the doctor on the phone. Then we get a lady that claimed to not be the doctor. She started lying and saying "Oh, did your fiancé tell you he has fleas and he's allergic to them; that's why he's sick." I laughed. They never did an allergy test and checked for fleas. He had none and has been on Bravecto for years. The attitude these people have and their archaic approaches to veterinary medicine is just insanity to me. I can't believe this business is open and I honestly hate everything about them.
