I'm going from loyal customer here to never coming back. I had slowly stopped coming to the clintonville coin-op when I noticed a decline in their cleanliness shortly after they reopened. I started visiting other laundromats. I came back to give coin-op a try again and I'm disgusted to see they haven't improved their cleaning at all. This is the inside of the first machine I stopped at, 45 minutes into the day's opening, with the attendant chilling at the desk. So I skip the machine and go check some others. Checked at least four other machines. Each one was filthy. Dog hair, lint, gunk, coins, KIBBLE?? I found the cleanest one I could and wiped out the inside as much as I was able (it was still pretty grimy). Honestly I regret doing that wash. When it was over, I ended up just grabbing the 'clean' clothes and the rest of my clothes and putting them back in my car. No idea where I'm going to wash them next, but it's definitely not here. This place really used to be my favorite, but they need to seriously implement some stronger cleaning protocols and follow up on them.

I counted last time I was there (Nov 2025), and 20% of their machines were down. That's 1 in 5 and that is not an exaggeration. So if you go and it looks to only have a few people inside, there's a good chance that every washer will be occupied upon arrival. And the only thing worse than spending my day at a laundromat doing clothes, is spending the same time just standing around waiting to do clothes.

They came and picked up my items and replaced the zippers, and also dropped them back off at my house. My mind is blown by how much they really do care, and my items that I received back are perfect. 1000% I will be back Old review: I don't recommend this place. I have come here for a good while now, and I think the quality is mediocre at best. I have paid for multiple zippers to be replaced, and they charged me for this but didn't do the work, and this was on multiple items.

She was complaining to me that she did not want to have to walk all the way down here super unprofessional and basically said there was nothing she could do about it. You're offering a service via these machines that do not work, you would think you could do something about that.

If you value cleanliness and a friendly, helpful, happy community atmosphere, anyway! The attendant was attentive and helpful and gave valuable advice regarding what size of washer would be a good value and be able to tackle multiple of my loads of laundry in one go. When it came time to empty my washer a kind stranger volunteered to give me a hand because I was wearing my sleeping infant daughter in a sling and awkwardly working around her. So kind. It's busy in here but no one seems grouchy about waiting, and most people will meet my eyes and smile back. I like that there are different washer and dryer types to choose from (there are both front load and top load washers, and some great big and some regular sized) and that the larger machines accept payment from cards. I love that there are live plants inside, what a nice touch! My only note about how the environment could be improved is that it could maybe use a couple more chairs and that the chairs would benefit from someone taking a magic eraser to them. Everything else in here is grunge free and looks very clean and well cared for! It's summer time now and it is a little warm in here, though. There is one fan running near the front to help but fair warning, you'll likely start sweating while you wait for your laundry. Overall I'm having a very pleasant experience and am grateful.
