What a diamond in the Rough! This place is so well done for people wanting to sit and socialize inside or out. I asked for a recommendation on what coffee drink and the iced Cafe de la OLLo was it! Wow it was delicious and so was the cinnamon bagel!! It was more like a brioche so easy and yummy to eat! The girls were great don't forget to read the cards they have for purchase. Hilarious. Came back again because I was craving the Ollo but decided to go with the Cocco Puff iced latte with Coconut ! Gosh it's going to be hard to keep travelling! Thank you Sunshine Cafe!! You made my Yuma experience worth it!

Cute place, cozy inside and very open and chill ambiance outside. Service is great too. Love their variety of drinks and the cute little stickers you can buy. Got there seasonal Beetlejuice matcha and it was delicious. When I'm in town again I'll stop by.

This location is just off the I-8 at the 8 1/2 E Avenue exit on the North Frontage road. The walls are painted with poppies and other charming art. Such a charming place to stop and have an outdoor or patio breakfast, brunch or just a refreshing coffee or tea. Enjoy the outdoor ambience by the water fountain under the gazebo. Eclectic, vintage decor. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Sunshine Bowl and latte which did not disappoint. Will return!

True coffee lovers know that to get a great drink you have to go outside the beaten path. Nestled in the East End of the City of Yuma is the Sunshine Cafe, this coffeehouse isn't for those who just need a quick caffeine hit, but it's for those who truly enjoy the rush of an amazing well-crafted drink. For more than a decade the Sunshine Cafe has drawn people from all over the globe, all looking for more than a drink or a meal but for an experience. As soon as you walk in, you can tell that this isn't your ordinary coffeehouse. The storefront looks more like a wood cabin and once inside it looks like a general store. Once you're greeted by Maria or her staff, you feel at home. Like many other coffeehouses, you'll find similar dishes, but with a little twist. They have avocado toast, but it's on a waffle and on a bed of bacon. They have pancakes, but they're bite-sized, and they're accompanied by slices of strawberries and bananas. And the adventure doesn't stop when you order your food, now you have to find a seat. Inside or out you'll be surrounded by creatively decorated scenery. Outside you'll find murals depicting life in the Desert Southwest. As well as waterfalls and an old van. If you're anywhere near Yuma, Arizona, you definitely have to make plans to visit the Sunshine Cafe, you won't regret it.

The coffee scene in Yuma has expanded over the past few years beyond Starbucks & Dunkin'. I had seen a few friends post about Sunshine Café and the ambiance seemed cute. I verified their hours before heading over there. Sunshine Café can be hard to miss when you are coming down Frontage Rd; it is the first right behind Cactus Storage. There are beautiful, colorful murals alongside the walls, a waterfall, a bar area, and cute little details throughout. The barista, Jessica, was very sweet. Bf ordered their signature coffee, Cafe de la olla ($5), and I ordered the oatchata ($4). Bf ordered a large and it was HUGE! Like 32oz! If you are truly looking for black coffee, specify as bf was surprised to find that it was sweetened with cinnamon. The oatchata was creamy, cinnamony, and just the right balance of coffee/sweetness. I'd definitely get it again!

My girlfriend was supposed to have her car serviced at the dealership today. A wrench was thrown in the works, so the three of us met for breakfast. My boyfriend and I had already had breakfast, so we ordered off the lunch menu. I had a fried chicken sandwich, he had the chicken Caesar wrap. GF got the churro French toast breakfast plate with poached eggs and bacon. The waitress (Caitlin?) didn't pay much attention to our table. When we got our food, the fried chicken breast in the sandwich was lukewarm and she didn't ask about any sauce (ranch, etc) for the onion rings. The lady had to ask for the poached eggs and bacon. Also, she ordered an iced mocha with oat milk and caramel. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nowhere on the menu did it say that oat milk is an additional cost. Caramel was an additional cost. For a puny little iced coffee it ended up being $10. No refills. And we had to ask for ranch. She filled up my boyfriend's water glass and not mine. If it's empty, fill it. It's a hundred and something outside, please make sure all your guests are hydrated. The bill was $70. The lunches were extremely overpriced for what we got, to be honest. I know that prices have gone up and that inflation is a thing. I get that, I really do. The chicken sandwich was definitely not worth $15 and although the onion rings were good (and I'm thankful we weren't charged extra for them), it was still a letdown. This was akin to a $12 combo meal at a fast food joint. The first time I was here was a couple months ago. I had ordered the Denver omelette and when the waitress came out, she brought the wrong omelette ,(the three meat) out and didn't even try to correct her mistake even AFTER I had said it was wrong. That waitress was also inattentive and ignored us for the majority of our meal. We don't eat out a whole lot so it's a treat when we do. Less of a treat to receive subpar, overpriced food and subpar service. Sorry.

Chips and salsa are served in an elevated manner from what we have come to expect. Place settings are clean and glassware l The menu offers lighter versions of Rellenos, tacos and tortilla and lettuce wraps even Burgers! Slices of cake are ample, cheesecake and tiramisu are also available! Tuna tacos were the special but as I am a big fan of Rellenos the Au Gratin Tuna Chili Rellenos appealed to me. Never in a million years would I have combined my mothers tuna salad recipe minus pickles with Ortega style green chilies. A salad of lettuce and two thick slices of tomatoes were dressed with a delicate oil and vinegar combo. I might not order this dish again but it was light and yummy. The Sowthwestern Chicken Salad with a double baked potato sounded yummy too! Starbucks beverages are featured and the prices for coffee beverages are excellent! Greasy glisten of the tempera like batter concerned me.. the batter was tough and I was unable to cut it with a fork. I was only able to eat halfway through the first piece of fish before I started peeling away the batter once all three were released from their tough greasy death shrouds... Yep it's back by popular demand but it's now called egg in a nest. What the heck? Anyway every one ordered something different and we ate to our hearts content and had no complaints whatsoever about the food, the ambiance or the cleanliness. Chicken fried chicken dinner evaporated from his plate. The burger and onion petals seemed to have delighted the nephew. One of the ladies in our party seemed happy with her chicken strips, which were more than abundant! Another ordered a diet plate of some sort with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes and was especially happy. A new item on the menu appealed to another. Louisiana shrimp skillet. Was flavorful, and those who tasted the nice portion of shrimp agreed that it was surprisingly delicious. The side, dishes of okra, and greens are always favorites. All of us commented on the new menu. Although we missed the old format, this one is easier to hold, and the print is bold enough that you're not needing to use your flashlight if you're older like we are. We are thankful that the menu has the old favorites, something new and that Cracker Barrel values its customers. It's such a nice thing to be able to travel and dine at any location and feel like your unfamiliar surroundings. But I wonder why is that there are so many locals who freely admit that they have never yet dined here? One maintenance issue... the latch on the ladies handicap stall door is STILL needing to be fixed! One issue with our visit. Not once were we offered refills on beverages.
