I have worked with several skilled massage therapists over the years but this was one of the best massages I've ever had. The therapist, Roman, did some intense pressure points and muscle work that loosened up my back and shoulders and by the end of the appointment I had near full range of motion in my neck. I purchased a Groupon for a 60-minute massage and arrived early exactly as instructed. My appointment was scheduled for 6:00 PM, but the massage therapist was late, so my massage didn't begin until around 6:40 PM. I ended up receiving only about 35 minutes of the 60-minute massage I had paid for. Before the massage started, I asked how we should handle the lost time since the office was about to close. The therapist assured me that he would make up the remaining time during my next visit. The next day, when I called to schedule the remaining time, I was told I would have to pay for another massage in order to receive the time I had already paid for. Even worse, I was later told that I had supposedly agreed to a shorter massage and to purchase another appointment, which is simply not true. I completely understand that unexpected delays can happen. My disappointment comes from how the situation was handled afterward. A business should stand behind the services it sells and make things right when the problem is entirely on its side. Thankfully, Groupon reviewed my case and issued a full refund after determining that the full service had not been provided. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based on my experience.
