It is a clean facility hrs are great but I wish they would enforce their no smoking rules. I dont appreciate other people smoke killing me with their second hand smoke while I'm trying to do my laundry. This laundromat has a new owner. Has improved and replaced many of the old equipment with new machines. In fact he brought in new 60lb machines and is doing a fabulous job in keeping this business very clean. He currently has plenty of new top load machines too. As bad as people have rated this, this business did stand the test of time for many years. I remember being here as a kid where the washers were old and they have (and still have) those old arcade machines that kids can play on when waiting with their parents. Having come nearly 25 years later, the machines don't seem as "dated" as the reviews make it seem to be. I was with my mom at a different laundry machine a few years back (now closed) and that one was "updated" through using a card system. It "looks" dirty but I do think that's from the pollution from the many years this business has been around. It does look like they attempted the clean and there was someone actively cleaning when I was there, but maybe it's not possible to make it look clean without replacing it completely. This one has a few machines that seem rather new with app integration. I've tried out the app and although I can see it may be confusing for some, it gets the job done and does display how long before your laundry finishes so you don't have to hawk your laundry in the tiny aisles. They also got my blanket washed pretty well given that I chose the new 3-load machine (when it didn't really fit the old 3-load machines), so I was taking a risk. The price is slightly higher, but was worth not upgrading to a 6-load. The dryers sadly all don't have app integration - but it is a quarter per 5 min when I went. The quarter machine (uses cash) gave me the right amount of quarters and I was able to get my blankets pretty dry using the same time estimation I would at commercial small load machines would use as default (45 min) even though my machine started cold. Overall, price was around $6 where I paid for extra wash and rinse, so I'm pretty happy. Also, they were remodeling the sinks and bathroom, so I do think the owners are looking to try to constantly improve the place. read more

Sad to say but this place is filthy It's really late and I NEEDED to wash at least A LOAD. Should've known before taking both my bags down. I had NO PROBLEM putting the rest of my clothes back in my car. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I looked around to see if the prices were fair for the steel washers.... nope. A lot of washers are broken. The dollar washers seem fair but even a couple of those have no middle part that holds your clothes. There were several washers that were broken, actually. I'm really taken back by how bad this place is. Everything is old & outdated. The restroom has a horrible smell. There's people sleeping on the benches but that doesn't bother me. I don't know if they're homeless. Don't want to assume either but.... I'm just going to end my review here. Ps. At least the lady who tries to keep it clean is trying her best. I'm glad she has a job. I'm being genuine about that. read more

My dryer broke down so I needed to dry clothes. This place is the closest to my home and on a busy street so I came here. Put my money in the almond color dryer on the south side and pressed the on button. After 10 minutes, I checked and the dryer was.nit heating up. Went to the stainless steel dryers and they worked like a charm. The place needs some investment And a deep clean. Watch your laundry. Another patron told me a story of getting his clothes ripped off because he went to Starbucks and came back and his load was gone. read more
