Like a mom/pop store been around a long time. Very friendly and mainly went this time to take out a stain on a scarf already warned might not come out but they would try. The lady spotted and told from the beginning. So I didn't have high expectations. There was a nice note that they tried. Great finish. Cleaning was a great job. Store hours close early so if you have a 9 to 5 you can't pick up after work. Price is very reasonable. read more

I take all of my clothes to this location and I have been doing it for many years. They're very professional. The quality of the work is top-notch. I've never had any complaints any issues they communicate very well they ask you when you want to pick your clothes up and they always have it ready when they say they have it ready and it will ready. The value that this place brings to me is that it's convenient for me to walk there if I needed to the savings and the professionalism is top-notch. They LOST MY WEDDING DRESS THE DAY AFTER THEY CLEANED IT. And they didn't tell me until I came back 21 days later (the ticket says to come back in 3 weeks). WHAT IN THE HELL?! They lost my wedding dress and handled it completely unprofessionally. I was told to file an insurance claim with their provider. I have a feeling they actually stole my wedding dress due to a previous interaction I had with the matriarch of the family business. I'm highly disappointed and will recommend that people do not do any business that involves fancy or sentimental clothing. I'm washing my hands of this place. I later learned that they've lost two of my sisters blouses in the past. Had I known that, I never would have trusted them with my wedding dress. How do I know they didn't just keep it? To make matters worse, the owner says 'it's like a car accident--it's not like we meant to do it'. Yes... sir, that's the definition of an 'accident'. Thanks for mansplaining. read more

This place is an absolute joke. If you don't care about your clothes, then go ahead and let them ruin them. I took 2 bespoke dress shirts for dry cleaning and were completely ruined, by the Hispanic guy with glasses. Both shirts shrunk by being washed instead dry cleaned as I had requested. When I spoke to them, they came up with the brilliant idea to re clean my shirts so they would stretch back to normal(morons). They have no idea how to handle delicate clothing. When I asked for the number of the owner they refused to give it to me, which leaves me with no other option but to take legal action against them to recuperate the money I spent on my shirts. Believe me they were not cheap. So save yourself a headache and find a professional dry cleaner in the area and avoid these clowns. read more

Ah why hasn't this place gotten more reviews? Asahi cleaners has been around probably since I was born. It's gone through the original owners, and now another couple who are so friendly own the place and do a stand up job. I take what ever I need dry cleaned, pressed, altered to Asahi, and I always leave with confidence that everything will come out just fine. Best value in town for laundry on button-up dress shirts. I have NOT used them for dry cleaning. Friendly staff/owners, no delays, good communication. My dress shirts don't get very dirty (I wear undershirts) but it takes too long to wash and iron at home. Found Asahi Cleaners while picking up food next door (Taihei Sushi). I now add laundry pick-up/drop-off to sushi dinner night. read more

Needed a last minute press on my boyfriend's graduation gown/hood and they did such a phenomenal job. I dropped it off after work Friday at 4 and picked it up Saturday at 12 pm. So happy I'll have it in time for his graduation. Definitely will be coming back! read more

I have come to realize that finding a good dry cleaners is very hard. I am glad I found this one. They are very good. They are very professional. Clothes come on time. I would prefer that they accept credit card all of the time, but I can't be picky (only accept cards when bill is over $15). Parking on the side in a very small lot or in the front of the business. read more

Seemed decent. There was 1 stain on my suit jacket that they couldn't remove. I'm not sure if they tried.

I brought some shorts in to get hemmed and an American flag scarf to hem just 2 straight lines ALL RUINED!!! She knew she was handing me crappy work I didn't notice until I got home so I went back and she said "oh yeah I tried twice but the fabric it difficult" yeah, blame the fabric lady! When I picked up the flag scarf she had only did one side! Again when I went back she said "oh yeah I didn't see the pin so I forgot" WTF!?! I payed her over $60 and she refunded me $15! So if your looking for a quality tailor don't come here! I gave her more than 2 chances and I was disappointed every time! read more

They lost my husband suit, granted I completely forgotten about it till a year later. She say she will look for it and never call me back. I call her 2 days late, she say nothing was found and that it say on back of receipt " we are not responsible for article not claimed after 30 days" and then hanged up on my call. Thanks for trying. But I will report this to Better Business Bureau. read more

I took 2 giant eagle outfits to get cleaned. He says there is no way he can clean the heads and that the previous person who tried did damage with the steam. He showed me where and how. That explains alot about how my outfits got ruined....see my other post about the cleaner who owed me $700 bucks to fix the other ruined outfit. He then gives me a cleaner and tells me how I can do it myself without damaging the head. OK! Gives me the cleaner gratis and then hooks it up with the outfits..including the feet. I use to patron Asahi when it was ran by orig owners, but they sold some 5+ yrs ago. Current owners aren't bad, but after experiencing the orig owners, it's hard not to compare. They were capable of cleaning ANYTHING (red wine!) w/ love. Current owners cleaned 95% of red wine stain from my sis' borrowed beautiful white coat. For $10, it's not bad at all. They're not my fave, but this is where I'd take my emergencies b/c I haven't found a better dry cleaners, yet. read more

Beware! Worst cleaners in the area! Worst customer service I have ever encountered & worst alterations. In August 2015, I brought 2 pants for repair & stain removal. The stain was never removed. Pant looked exactly the same as when I brought them in! Did they even try to remove it despite my payment? Next, the Mexican woman in the front measured my pants for length alteration with my slippers on as I told her, I want them short enough for my slippers as well. Both pants came out too long despite her mark; obviously erroneous measurement; and when I asked her to repair them correctly, she refused. She stated, she would have to charge me extra over what I paid as those were her measurements and they are correct in her sight. This despite my showing her with the exact slippers I had on when she initially made her mark; obviously still too long; at least 2 inches too long; please check pictures. Beware! Incompetent service! Incompetent alterations & no concern for customer service as no one has posted real reviews on them on Yelp yet. There are better cleaners & alterations in the area. Awesome cleaners for an awesome price! I usually only take my valuable blacks to the cleaners to prevent fading and well my pants didn't fade which is what I wanted. The owners Felix and Maria are great they are always positive. They don"t try to sell you a service you don't need like other places . They do next day ready and are super affordable. Don't let this small charming place fool you, they kick ass. They also offer small tailoring adjustments and deliver exactly what you need.
