Dr Capurso and his staff have always been very nice and helpful. The doctor/receptionist is always quick to get you into the office too if there is a problem and/or we are experiencing pain. They know me and my kids by name and I believe that truly counts with any doctor.

Still actively seeking resolution following my husband's dental appointment and treatment received…read moreon November 12, 2024. Aside from the unprofessional manner and questionable skillset of the practicing dentist, Dr. Hui H. Chang, it has been 6.5 months since the treatment and he is still been experiencing pain in those teeth. Internal medical records are not accurate (feel free to request and doublecheck yours) because the practicing dentist on staff (Dr Hui Chang) does NOT match the Dr. DeRose name noted on the records (he is a dentist that has long left if he was ever even affiliated). Bedside manner was appalling as Dr Chang was getting clearly annoyed when my husband wasn't taking to the anesthesia during the initial visit and then had to reschedule for another appointment after having to be numbed at a different dental office. During visit two, there were times where she still had metal tools IN his mouth and was turning away to move around or retrieve other supplies. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, holds disdain for my husband or was medicated (prescription or otherwise) and grouchy. A second opinion and evaluation has been sought out at a different practice to see why there was excessive pain well after the procedure. It was determined that not only did Dr. Chang not remove all of the cavities from the aforementioned teeth, but excessive amounts of the actual teeth were also drilled away at, only to be "patched back up" really shoddily. Now we find ourselves seeking what should have been basic treatment elsewhere to fix her lack of thorough work and mistakes. This negative experience was mentioned over the phone to the staff back in November and was given an ultimatum in early April about how to handle the situation. Mondovi Dental's parent company, Smile Brands, had their Director of Market Operations, reach out to smooth out the situation. It started with promises of getting us taken care of but after multiple assurances that they'd cover for the botched job, she has since ghosted me. At a point where my husband is still experiencing pain more than 6.5 months later and being made empty promises, our experience needed to be shared. There are plenty of more capable and caring practices in the area. Mondovi is NOT it. Avoid like the plague. If you scroll down, you'll see his review as well. The office suggests for us to email them, well WE HAVE and have spoken to their parent company. A formal complaint has been reported to the Board of Registration in Dentistry along with every platform I can access.

After fifteen minutes she stated that I did not have cavities. She asked me to look at the xrays while she showed me my teeth were perfectly fine. I told her the dentist who made the diagnosis also stated that I needed four crowns. The dentist today stated that I might benefit from one crown but not four! Every visit I have had there's always a new hygienist and dentist. I would be very reluctant to recommend this dental office. I will be looking for a new dentist!

I got 2 extractions today instead of one. I was prescribed aspirin as a pain killer, it's documented in my records I'm allergic to aspirin. Aspirin doesn't require a prescription. all and all a very bad bad experience. im Legally blind. The hygienist deliberately bullied a blind person and failed to do her job of numbing me. the hygienist was deliberately abusive. I do not know the name of the hygienist as she didn't introduce herself other than to say she was the hygienist.. I'm very concerned as I believe she would treat children this way also.
