I was so disappointed, I work right next door to this place so I was eager to get a back massage done. I took my sister for her Birthday ($120 total for both) and the lady who did my massage rushed it and was so painful. I kept saying ow and I asked her twice to be more gentle. She bruised my back, nothing relaxing about this place at all. P.s. don't wear makeup. They rub oil on your face??? And they have a $45 combo massage for foot and body and then say "might as well do the $50 for 60 min you get more out of it" girl no you don't. Do the $45 if you wanna save money. Called and made an appointment as soon as they opened and they were able to accommodate full body 90 min massages for the both of us within an hour. Upon arrival they set up 2 spots for us in the same room which was nice. They started and ended on time. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and have received physical therapy deep tissue massages but this place HURT LOL. I carry tension in my shoulders so that area probably hurt the most. I felt like I was more tense than relaxed because they applied so much pressure I was getting smashed into the table! lol The gentleman who did my massage was very kind and did a great job although I wasn't ready for that lol. I also had a minor ankle sprain and a bruise on my tailbone from a fall and forgot to tell them so as they were going in, I was ready to tap out but that was my fault for not communicating it. I have been coming here for at least 8+ years. It was one our most reliable and consistent massage places. I've recommended this place to family and friends looking for a reasonable price for a massage. In fact, I recommended a two of my friends today. My husband and I decided to get a one hour body massage for Valentine's Day. The lady that helped me was named "Mindy" please stay clear from her! Within the first 3-5 mins, she lathered me up and stretched my back, multiple times (no massage yet). I'm generally a patient person, so I thought it should get better, give her a chance. 5-10 minutes, she's now squeezing and pinching my whole back. As you can imagine, I'm thinking "wth." Is this new type of massage? I let it be...then she walks away to grab the stones. At this point, I can hear her throwing the stones in the other room and making noises. You can tell she had a bad day and she was taking it on me. Next, she walks in the room, set the stone wrapped in the towel and drops it on my lower back. I'm thinking....wth...again. She then proceeds to lather the cold massage oil on my back with her really cold hands. At this point, she runs her forearm against my spine over and over. At this point, I'm so uncomfortable. 10-20 mins into this...it gets worse! She runs her cold oily fingers up and down my back (no massage at all) At this point, I'm thinking if I should lay here feeling tortured and not relaxed or get up and get dressed. After giving her another opportunity, it gets to the point where it became unbearable. I told her no more and she offered to massage me fully clothed. It's quiet place and I didn't wanna embarrassed her. I went up to look for the manager, but at 8:46pm she had left already. I asked for the manager's number and she wouldn't give it to me. I asked if she could call her and she says no. I walked outside to see if the numbers I had on file would get me the manager, but to no avail. I couldn't reach the manager. They take the money of front "if the massage is being done at night" I suspect customers have scammed them during the late nights? Their water machine leaks *a lot* and this is located in the lobby area where you sit and wait, luckily the floor is tile and they are doing their best to keep the excess water from spreading by using a towel. I highly recommend they just replace the machine. If someone slips and falls, it won't be very pretty for the business. As you sit and wait, you can only notice how it was constructed. All rooms were built with 2x4's and 4x4's with curtain rods. Expandable from single rooms to couple rooms - it looks quite budgetary, thus I was skeptical. ONTO THE MASSAGE: I purchased an hour massage for $40 - started off with no lotion, very rough - just the way I like it, much needed. Eventually, oil was introduced & hot-stones. Very very good, loved the massage, felt refreshed and glad I didn't just judge the book by the cover and leave. If you're looking for a massage this is your place! I regret going here, now I know why they charge you up front. There are no privacy rooms, only curtains that make a very loud noise when they open n close them. When she went to massage my feet, she left the curtain open OMG, so anyone passing by could see me laying there with only a paper thin sheet. When I asked her for a firm, she would for like 3 min and then go back to a very soft touch. I did not get the result I wanted, which was walk out relaxed. People who are arriving are not asked to keep their voices down, so there no way to try and enjoy. The therapist next curtain over kept making gagging noises. This place is also not very clean. Been here plenty of times and always have a great experience. Today wasn't quite like it's been before in the past. The female masseuse put no effort into massage. When she was working on my head she basically was just scratching it for 15 min. When she was working on my back she was digging her elbow with all her weight into my back . The worst part was when it was over and done with a left her 15 tip on the massage table . She was waiting for me at the door asking " you leave me tip" " I want tip " " you can't leave " I tried to explain I left it on the massage table but she didn't understand. It was insanely ridiculous how she went off cause she thought I didn't leave one. I felt like walking back a grabbing my tip money. Went here over the weekend. Called in and made an appointment in advance. Customer service was great! When I asked for a male since I felt like I needed a deeper tissue massage, I've been very stressed. Mark was my masseuse, he hit all the spots and took his time in my shoulders. The pressure was perfect and exactly what I asked for. I plan to visit at least every 2 weeks. Also, it's super affordable, 40 bucks for 60 minutes! I thought that it was going to be $25 for a neck massage because of the advertisement on the Yelp page (A $25 1st Full Hour Massage) but if you want a massage in a different part of your body it will be considered a "body massage" and 1 hour is not $25, it is $40. It's $25 only for a foot massage. Had I known this, I would not have came in. Since I was already there, I decided I would just get the $40 body massage because of the knots in my neck. I felt like I was punked into this price though with the false advertisement on the Yelp website. I would rate this place higher if the advertisement on Yelp were more clear. Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, it has nice atmosphere inside (see the pictures that I uploaded, both in and out). Clean facilities, relaxing dim lighting, soft music and sounds of nature playing in the background all added to a great experience. My massage therapist, Eric, made me feel very comfortable avoiding the distracting chit-chat I have experienced with many other massage therapists. He also has very strong hands, which was exactly what I needed for a knot in my back. It is nice that this place has very low prices, but isn't one of those skanky massage places. Sorry gentleman, but you will not be getting a happy ending at this place. I would have liked the option to get undressed, but the massage areas are not enclosed, so I don't think that the staff or the other customers would have appreciated me getting naked. read more

For my first massage I never expected an experience like this. At least what I thought was a massage was something comfortable yes at some points I did expect it to hurt but nothing like this. I didn't enjoy one part about this massage everything was extremely painful. It was so uncomfortable this man kept breathing hard and loud and wouldn't stop touching my butt. Very disappointed lately. Went 2 weeks ago and someone's phone kept going off! Went today and an employee had a baby and a 3 year old running around. I called after and talked to the girl at the front and she said she's not the owner. I mentioned to her that the place use to be peaceful that people come and spend money to relax that she should mention it to the owner. Employees also have been slamming the bathroom door..washroom door..and sliding the curtains all crazy. I've asked them to turn the spa music up. 2 stars only because they USED to be good. I used to love this spot. I get a massage here every other week, but the last few times I've been here it's been terrible. And yesterday was exceptionally bad! I feel like every time I go there it's getting louder and louder; and brighter and brighter. Not sure why they don't turn the lights down. I would be fine with the increase if the service level also increased but that's definitely not the case. Yesterday I had the worst massage ever. I GOT UP 30 MINUTES IN to my one-hour massage. Her name was Jenny and she was by far the worst masseuse everrr. I requested a full body massage with an emphasis on neck and shoulders. She probably worked on my neck and shoulders for all of three minutes, while applying ZERO pressure. What she did apply plenty of though was OIL. She slathered so much oil on me it honestly felt disgusting. No one wants to feel like a deep-fried chicken WTH. I requested multiple times to increase the pressure and decrease the oil but of course she didn't. I would like to say that she didn't understand but she spoke English perfectly well. Also, after applying excessive amounts of oil, she then proceeded to attempt to remove it by hot towel, but she was scrubbing my skin so hard, I literally left with scratches all over my body. Plus, I had to scrub myself down three times with a loofa in the shower to finally get all the oil off...disgusting!!! I called around 745pm to make an appointment for 9pm just for me. They took my info and confirmed. I decided to go with the 1 hour foot massage for $25. I also requested that the pressure be light. So this review is for all the people looking for a place NOT to get beat up. My masseuse was an older lady. She was pleasant and friendly. The front desk person told her my request and she didn't go too hard on me. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. Promise names will be included next time! The best part of the massage: the pressure it was pretty accurate to what I wanted. Getting my scalp rubbed is a plus. And she knew to rub the heel of my foot. Everyone always seems to miss that.
