I asked for Dip powder and was immediately switched to the only male working in there. I never frown upon a male nail tech and because i was immediately switched to another seat I thought maybe the other staff dosent know how to do dip. It turns out neither did the tech that did my nails yesterday. Both pointer finger nails popped right off last night hours after leaving his chair, today a thumb nail is peeling off. the color was great, when i asked for a color dip powder he did let me know it is an extra $5 charge and i accepted although he show me on a display book what my choices were i had to choose right from the shelf. He was grunting and talking about Dip in his language i was able to translate on my phone. After struggling to apply this on my nails it was looking rough. I've gotten dip plenty of other times and this was not the usual application im used to. They should've let me know that they arent comfortable doing dip. Making me pay for something that wasnt going to last even a week is upsetting. They did try and offer GelX and Acrylic and I did not come in for either so in that time He couldve said I do not have much experience with Dip and that wouldve made me feel more comfortable giving my money to this establishment. The least they could do was discount me to $35 and He still asked for a tip. I think because they popped off an hour or two later i shouldnt of paid anything. as of today not even 24 hours later im missing THREE nails.

Helen will always be my favorite in there but mainly because she loves to give me a hard time. But when I make my appointments, I always tell her she can have anyone in there do my nails.

The price was very reasonable -- $110 total for both of us, which came out to about $55 per person for an hour. I deal with a lot of upper back and neck tension, so I was really looking forward to this. Kevin was my massage therapist and he was fantastic -- he really worked through my knots and checked in at the beginning to make sure the pressure was right. I asked for deep pressure and he delivered. My husband had a different therapist who was just as attentive and also made sure he was comfortable throughout the session. We both felt great afterward -- completely relaxed and basically like Jell-O. I was a little sore the next day, but that was expected considering how much tension I had built up. It honestly felt like real work was done. 10/10 experience and definitely recommend, especially for the price. We tipped $40 total because they truly earned it. We'll absolutely be coming back, probably at least once a month.

Now the hair: I'm Black, I have curly hair, and I was not prepared for the tugging and pulling during the detangling. At one point a loose hair just stuck to my face and stayed there. We bonded. Then the nail scratching started. As a healthcare worker, I was internally screaming. But I stayed strong. They asked my partner (straight hair) if he wanted styling. Me? They just grabbed the blow dryer and went to town. I don't use heat! Walked in with lucious curls, walked out with a puff ball. No warning, no discussion, round brush chaos was my fate. Overall? I felt relaxed until that blow dryer came out. Then I was just overwhelmed with a side of big fluff. They were extremely sweet though! Might come back. Might not. 3/5 would recommend if you're brave, have straight hair, maybe some low hair expectations, and don't mind a little curtain peek-a-boo!

I initially asked for acrylics. They really pushed hard for gel x. I was hesitant but I just tried to trusted the process. They put on the gel x and it was SO tight. I felt stinging pain from my nails curling. I also felt burns from the UV light. It felt like it burned my nail. As I look more closely after coming home, there was space between my nail and the gel x!! I absolutely hate this because food & dirt get stuck underneath. The lady who was doing my toes was very nice but the lady who kept pushing me for gel x rushed the job. There was so many bubbles on each finger.
