Then it is capped with vanilla ice cream covered in hard shell chocolate and rolled in crushed peanuts. I can describe it in one word, "Yummy". Gogo-May's has a new owner and the service I received was warm and friendly. I was also impressed with the value of my Drumstick. It was worth every penny of the $5. Service is drive-up or walk-up window. This may be a go-to for me when in Grafton, I enjoyed my Drumstick that much.

That is a good and a bad thing. It's good for their bottom line and a bad thing for my waistline and weight. At least when I walk there, I am burning some of the calories I will consume. During the week, I enjoy stopping by and grabbing a pastry or two. It's hard to only buy one, when they have so many to choose from. I then continue on my way and enjoy a Blueberry Scone or Raspberry Lemon Cannoli at my leisure later in the day. When it's the weekend, that is when I dine in and enjoy the full experience of LuciAnna's. I either take a patio table which is pet friendly, or a relaxing table inside the charming dining room. I order at the counter and get my table marker, so they know where I am seated. It brunch time, so that also means it is Bloody Mary time. I always have mine with a cup of black coffee chaser. The two balance each other out. My two favorite entrees are; Waffles or anyone of their Benedicts. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with either of them. Plus, you gotta get an order of the, Million Dollar Bacon. Service is always top notch and attentive. You'll enjoy the tea room atmosphere.

After traveling up via the Grafton SkyTour (reviewed separately), we decided to do the Alpine Coaster first. It cost $18 per adult for one round-trip coaster ride. After completing a waiver on a tablet, we were able to board right away. Strangely, it was not possible for myself (5'5" F) or my partner (6' M) to sit with our backs/necks in the chair and also push the hand accelerators forward all the way. That meant we both were bending forward unsupported for the entire ride in order to go fast (fast = fun!). The coaster itself was nice and shady with twists and turns that we both enjoyed. Unfortunately, we have both had bad back and neck pain and muscle spasms after the coaster (2 days at this point). They really need to move the hand controls back about 5 inches so normal people can reach them while having their backs in the ride. After the coaster, we visited the main building (Terrace) for a glass of wine. The "winery" building was closed during our visit. The main space, which feels like a banquet hall, was well air conditioned with large windows that allow a view of the river valley. The live music was nice. The Cardinals v Cubs game was on the big screen muted. The service was rather slow, which was a surprise considering that it wasn't very busy. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about wine. There were only 3 Aerie's wines on the menu. I tried their Chambourcin, which was pretty good and my partner had a Pinot noir that was okay. After the wine, we took some pictures on the patio and then headed back down the SkyTour.

I can say in my humble opinion that Shiver's is the better custard. Living nearby, I have finally learned that you don't have to be a kid to order the kiddie size. By ordering the kiddie, I can save calories and perhaps be able to stop by twice during the week instead of limiting myself to one treat. I think Kiddie Size can also be called a, Senior Size. As we age, our appetites are like they use to be. Last night I couldn't pass by when I saw the FOTD (Flavor of the Day) was, Gooey Pecan Pie. I'm really not a Gooey person, but Pecan Pie is my favorite pie, so I couldn't resist. I ordered a Kiddie Concrete. It was rich in flavor and had large pieces of Pecan. I even had full sized pecans in my cup covered in the Gooey sauce. It was the perfect sweet treat to end the day. As a reminder, Shivers is also a coffee shop in the early mornings. So you can also get your caffeine fix, too. I also gotta tell you that they're dog friendly and offer free Pup Cups. Dog must be present to receive the Pup Cup. No To-Go orders for the pups.

How are you doing the Cinco de Mayo dinner cruise which was from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The two bartenders said they were fairly new, but I cannot tell they held it down all night. Drinks were on point and they were getting the line down really fast no matter how long it got. Drinks were also very reasonably priced. I don't think I paid over five dollars for any drink. As for the food, the cruise included a unlimited taco bar, which was very good. The chips were very fresh and the meat was very well seasoned. I love that they include fresh guac and fresh sour cream, which I think is the perfect addition to any taco bar!
