The machines are newer, and they have a *gasp* actual human present should anything go awry. The last time I used a laundromat when traveling the washing machine wouldn't open to let me get my clothes. There wasn't anyone on premises, and the phone number posted was worthless. I was told I would have to wait hours before a technician could get there. Trust me, if you're traveling, and need to wash some clothes, you couldn't find a better place. I don't use a laundromat at home, but if I lived here and needed to do laundry this place would absolutely be my choice.

They also use an app and while I appreciate "winning the jackpot" as I convert at $10 to quarters, I'd much rather use an app so that I'm not filling my coin holder with extra coins. The app was easy to register and use on the washer but they don't use it for dryers. I though I was stuck losing $15 in credit. Not to worry - I sent an email inside the app requesting a refund and it was processed within a day or two. The laundromat is clean and tidy. There is free wifi and there are places to sit while you watch your clothes go round and round. They do sell detergent but I had stopped at the Dollar Tree up the street for a big bottle. With young kids at home, I like to do the laundry after they are in bed. Even if I get them to bed by 8, I don't have much time to wash and dry a load of laundry. I had 10 minutes left on the dryer tonight when the 9 o'clock alarm sounded. I jump out of my skin every time I hear that. It is a 15 minute warning that the building will be armed at 9:15. So I spent the next 15 minutes trying to cover my ears and remove/fold laundry. Anyway, I would give it 5 stars if it stayed open a little later, or at least let those who are inside already finish up, and definitely make the alarm system much less dramatic, and quieter.

I dropped off a king size Alpaca blanket which explicitly said Dry Clean Only and showed it was Alpaca. I received it back shedding and constricted at the hem showing proof of having been washed. When I brought it back in, in spite of the evidence, they said we absolutely did not wash this, e dry cleaned it and returned my cleaning fee for a $900 blanket. I left the blanket there along with any potential business. A mistake is one thing but refusing to take accountability is another. The money wasn't the issue as much as accountability. Btw you sign a waiver saying they will only pay 10x the cleaning fee if in error - it means nothing if they don't admit their error. Don't count on honesty here. I recommend any other dry cleaner in the area.
