False advertising. found them online and presented their menu and stated it change and were not going to honor it, I showed them that the package for pedicures were on there and that if it wasn't a service they offer they should take it down. the refused to accommodate and sell me a higher pedicure. very disappointed as I waited to be seen and then rushed to the chair for them to not honor their website . read more

First and last time here. The First picture is self explanatory. However, The tech did not see anything wrong with it and had me explain to him what was wrong. Which obviously made me more upset. I had paid for the most expensive pedicure they offered, and that is what I received in the end. I wonder what the basic pedicure would look like. Next three pics are of after the owner himself tried to fix them. 75 dollars for a manicure and pedicure that looked like it was done by a 5 year old was no where near acceptable. The manicure was slightly better, but the tech was bothered every time I pointed out to him I wanted the nails to be painted better. In the end those too were fixed by the owner, and they looked half way decent, but nowhere near 30 quality for a gel manicure. I am giving them 1 star for cleanliness, for an ok massage by the tech, and for trying to correct the situation, but I don't think I will be coming back or recommending it to anyone. The end product unfortunately was horrible and I had to come home and cut pieces of cuticles left behind, file sharp corners and edges, do my own pumice in the shower, and still have to took at messy painted nails until I can get them redone. I'm writing this review for those people who may be inclined to look at all the positive reviews like I did. I would suggest getting a polish change first and seeing how they do, before you spend a ton of money only to be disappointed. You can be the judge I'm not writing to trash the place, but rather looking out for people who value their money and work hard for it and who want what they paid for. read more

I have been coming to Sunshine Nails for the past 4 or 5 years. This place is always very clean and welcoming. I was there today and they are in the middle of remodeling, and they are getting all new furniture and decor. I can't wait to see it. Steve did a fabulous job on my nails as usual. I have always left there very satisfied, and they are very accommodating if I break a nail or have some other mishap and are able to get me in right away to fix it. The quality is top notch, and the prices are more reasonable than some of the other nail salons in town that I would consider comparable. read more

I've been here twice, had 2 different nail technicians, a man and then a woman. Both did my pedicure in a rough, rushed manner. The second time, the woman got out the grater, and due to language difficulties, it took me 3 times to get my point across that I did not want it her to use it. I am very ticklish and both times they just seemed amused by it, did not modify their approach to make it less comfortable. In fact, there were language difficulties both times. Previous pedicures I've had over the years have been relaxing and very enjoyable. After both of these, I was tense and unhappy. I want to be able to communicate with my technician and have them follow my wishes. I am giving them 2 instead of 1 star because the salon does seem clean and the instruments seem to be sterilized as they are taken from a sealed pouch. I'm going to keep looking. :-( read more

I always make an appointment although they do take walk-ins. The salon is clean and staff is professional and friendly. They have several pedicures to choose from and tons of polish colors, gel, dip, shellac or regular. If you like HDTV they have several screens. read more

I work with ladies that go here and their nails always look so good so I had to try it out. I loved it. My nails were done by someone about 2 weeks ago and it was a new set and I had one to pop off and my top coat was peeling off and the rest of them were starting to lift. Never going again. Got a full set acrylic about 1/2 in long with regular polish. 1) They upcharged $10 without telling me($35 total) when I asked a lot about prices from the beginning. 2) When they put me at the table to dry my nails, I asked to have the fan on and they said "no, it's too loud for the people getting pedicures". It was not loud at all. 3) Within 30 seconds of looking at my nails, I realized that two of them are crooked, the paint doesn't go all the way to my cuticle on most of them, and the paint is cracked. To sum up, bad service, bad product, expensive prices ...never going again. read more

Overall good experience. Started a new job & found this place is open later hours, which I now need. The first time I went, the young man insisted I had acrylic nails. I had let him know that they were my natural nail... and he actually would not have it! Lol... it became comical... I could not convince him that they were my nails, not acrylic. He argued relentlessly. Lol. I was actually ready to have him remove the gel I had on & let me go. Language barrier... maybe? I should know, right? I've never had acrylic... ever. I do, however, like extra top coats for more depth & luster. Finally, another worker came over and let him know it was as I said. The young man... kind as could be after that... did a great job. Dan did an amazing job on my nails. Not only did he do exactly what I wanted without asking, he took his time and making each nail perfect. My pedicure was one of the best I've ever had as well. I'm from Chicago and let me tell you I have never had my nails done better than I did here on vacation. I will absolutely be back when I am visiting my family. I don't like leaving bad reviews but my fingers are all cut up and swollen from them drilling my cuticles with the drill bit and they are so swollen and bleeding that it hurts and my nails are sensitive to touch , I had natural long nails that I grew out so I can get a certain style and she not only told me that they can't do it, as in no matte and no stone work and told me my nails are to short and proceeded to cut more then half way down my nail without asking and proceeded to tell me she can't do anything and asked if I wanted acrylics while proceeding to tell me to relax my hands as she literally started shaping my nails over and over again shorter with a attitude speaking in what sounded like Vietnamese to herself and the words I did pick up were not nice, and after getting a basic gel polish that wasn't even the color I compromised on , and getting acrylic base I didn't ask for and having it all over my fingers , I left with short EXPENSIVE!!! messy swollen nails. Honestly I'm really shocked at the amount of bad reviews. I have been going to Sunshine nails now for about a year and I've never had a bad experience. I've never felt rushed, actually the opposite, I'm usually there for awhile because of how they take their time. I've never had any complaints on how my nails or toes were done. If there ever was a issue, I'd point it out and they fixed it right away without hesitation. Compared to other nails salons I've been to, they speak English really well. I read another review that said they were "racist" to her because they took "white pepper" first....‍ They are far from racist and that's a big claim to make. They are very busy and run on alot of appointments. So to make that assumption is wrong. I'm sure that lady didn't even ask, she assumed. They're sterile and clean. I never really do reviews that often but after some of these false claims, I felt the need to say something. Reviews can make or break a business and I feel like they deserve 5 stars.
