At no point did either person appear concerned about the urgent medical issue that had brought me there. I regret that I did not obtain their names. I questioned her as to why my Vitamin A was so high, she snarled ''cut your intake in half''.....my current Dr took me off off all my medications with Vitamins A in it. Never went over blood work, Never showed a care for your health, and the last straw was when she treated me with total disrespect for my UTI issues. Another challenge is dealing with the front end women, not very welcoming, and if you have a problem with billing forget it. There are tons of Doctors in this area that treat you with respect and take an active roll in your health. This office is not one of them.!!!!!!!!!!!!

After checking in at the kiosk, patients are called to the front desk to provide their insurance card and ID. My family and I had already checked in, yet two people who arrived after us were called before we were. It didn't seem like the staff was following a first-come, first-served process. The medical staff was also disappointing during my last visit. We explained our symptoms and concerns, and the provider performed a strep test. When she returned with the negative result, her attitude became very rude and passive-aggressive. It felt as though she was frustrated that the test was negative, and instead of discussing what might be causing the symptoms or what the next steps should be, the interaction felt dismissive and unpleasant. I understand that healthcare workers have busy and stressful days, but patients deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, between the unfriendly front desk staff, the disorganized check-in process, and the rude interaction during my last visit, I don't feel confident returning or recommending this location.

Very Disappointing Experience -- Lack of Professionalism and Care…read more There are too many negative things to mention, but I'll start with the front desk. The receptionist is consistently rude, and the music in the lobby is so loud that it's difficult to hear or communicate. It feels very unprofessional, especially with the TV also playing information about procedures and products -- the two competing noises make the environment unpleasant. Every time I've come in, the music seems even louder. When I first saw the doctor, he mentioned that the VA sends too much information to read through, which was concerning. I explained my symptoms, and he told me to come back for injections. A few days later, I returned and was given two injections -- but it turns out they were done in the wrong area, as confirmed by my VA doctor after reviewing the referral and MRI. The VA doctor clarified that the injections I received were not what he had referred me for. When I brought the correct documentation back to Apollo Pain Management, the doctor seemed visibly irritated. During that visit, he performed the requested injections but did not use lidocaine or any numbing agent beforehand. His demeanor made me feel as if I had done something wrong, which added unnecessary stress to an already painful situation. At my follow-up visit, the experience was much the same -- rude front desk staff, loud music, and a doctor who did not review my MRI or referral. When I mentioned that I didn't get the expected relief, he implied it was my fault and refused to perform further injections in the areas requested by my referring doctor. I will not be returning to this location. The environment is unwelcoming, and if the physician cannot take the time to review a referral or MRI, it's hard to trust the quality of care being provided. On a positive note, the PA and the male nurse were both very professional, courteous, and caring. They were the only bright spots in this entire experience.

However, 'aging in place' may happen, but there is very little attention given to residents with health issues unless you have great insurance and they will send the resident to therapy 3 times a week. If you want to use your own pharmacy, good luck. Again, they deal in volume and if you do not fall into standard operating procedures, prepare to make a lot of calls and visits to make sure things happen correctly. During this COVID pandemic, I could not get anyone in the marketing or business office to answer the phone--always sent to voicemail. They do have an automated system to give you generic updates, but good luck with talking to an individual to get any questions or issues you may have addressed. I ended up moving my elderly parent from this facility as quickly as I could due to the 100% isolation--including all meals delivered to the residents. They have little to no contact with anyone and have to stay in their rooms.
