He saw our toddler as a fellow pup, and before his camp at Unleash Fido we were dealing with constant nipping, tearing clothes, chasing, jumping, chewing, difficulty house training, and general lawlessness. Then he went to Puppy Camp at Unleash Fido and worked with Brittni. He came home a truly different and wonderful dog. he was in control of his body and his actions. He obeyed commands and was house trained. Best of all, though, we saw his true personality emerge from underneath the chaos - we got to make friends with the sweet, personable, loyal dog he is. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! That is not something I would want in a trainer. I would actually want someone to take the time and to work with my dog on their individual needs and not just think of it as a whole. Not every dog is the same. Not every dog learns the same. It's unacceptable to put the​ dog through what she did just to get it out of its crate. And if your facility is not able to allow a dog to decompress in its crate right after being picked up, then you need to reevaluate your space. There's never a situation that you should be dumping a dog that is already fearful of its surroundings.

She is a constant demon, but the minute he walked in, she was a tranquil-ish, and readily began to (sort of) follow his commands. We originally saw Ryan working with training a dog at St. Johns Town Center on the crowded sidewalks. He had that dog tightly following commands and expected behaviors. The dog looked like they had a "mind meld" with Ryan, because of how well it behaved walking through all the people and cars. Perfect behavior. So we are super excited to begin training next month with the Beginner in-home program. Following that we have already committed to going straight into the Intermediate at-home training. We had a minor hiccup with our original interaction, but the staff made it right quickly. So we appreciate not only a great trainer, but the staff who back up his work was great, also. We were not prepared for his energy and realized quickly after a dog DNA test, we needed help! Courtney is AMAZING. She took our wild, destructive, houdini, and turned him into a well trained dog. At pick up she worked with my husband and me so we could learn to take over the training process at home. She also offers lifetime lessons just in case us parents need a little help! He still makes some mistakes, but they have been easily corrected since Courtney also trained us. Our biggest concerns were that after five weeks at his age, he might not remember us -- that didn't happen; and that the training would break his spirit or affect his personality. That didn't happen either. We got him back with all the things we loved about him and none of the things we didn't. Courtney told us it may take a year or more for the training to fully take hold if we continue to work with him consistently; and we will.
