We took our 9 month 90 lb Labrador boy to unleash fido for the month long obedience training and it is life changing. We are a family of 3 dogs and this puppy gave us a run for our money. Un walkable, jumped so hard on our glass door I was convinced it was going to brake, dart out the front door, run over my 5 yearold, non stop barking. After a month he was a completely different dog. Mackayla was our training and did an unbelievable job. Our boy has been home now a month and our home life is night and day. We brought our dog back for a refresher and my dog could not be more excited to see her. I am fairly certain he loves her more than us and my dog mom heart is just fine with that!! 100% recommend

I can't put into words how highly I recommend Unleash Fido. Do you know what it's like to hear a doorbell followed by silence? Or not worry that your dog is going to jump up on someone or react to another dog? I do, thanks to Macayla, Ashley, Travis and team. I researched and interviewed trainers across FL for 5 weeks before bringing our mellow older dog and our then-foster Archie BamBam into Unleash Fido for a consult. Archie was a little dog selective and sometimes a tiny bit reactive to a few people. When we arrived at the consult Archie turned into a dog I'd never seen - continuously lunging and vocalizing, trying to attack Travis and even our other dog he'd lived with for months. Travis took it all in stride, not only calmly proceeding to observe Archie but also simultaneously consoling me, explaining their methods, and answering my concerns and questions. He spent A LOT of time with me, never once attempted to "sell" me on anything, and actually steered me away from unnecessary expense. Travis set realistic expectations and his team totally exceeded them. When they couldn't find a pattern in what triggered Archie's reactivity, they kept looking, taking him out and introducing to a variety of things, people, and places. Best of all, Archie LOVED his time at training and loves continuing to train at home. Archie is no longer dog or people reactive and is even ignoring our cats. The training is invaluable. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, we're going to be sending our other two dogs to Unleash Fido. It's so worth the money AND you don't have to worry about your kiddos while they're there. They get excellent care and the pups love it. Archie's face says it all - this is just two days after starting boot camp. Thank you, Unleash Fido! See you soon with the next two dogs.

We have had 3 dogs trained at Unleash Fido. We have paid a fee and they board and train the dog. The results have been phenomenal. Our first dog was trained 7yrs ago and she is simply the best. The second was trained 5 years ago and she was a rescue. She was not socialized with humans and lacked "normal" dog behavior. Travis and team helped her and she's become a successful member of our family. Our last dog was just trained and while Unleash Fido has grown as a business this has only made it even better. Our new puppy went in a cute little monster and with reinforcement is becoming well behaved! I'd never have a dog that wasn't trained by Unleash Fido.

I can attest to how amazing Unleash Fido is. I couldn't be more thankful. Writing this actually makes me tear up because the freedom and happiness Unleash Fido and specifically my head trainer Macayla has brought Franki and I. She has taught me it's ok to be a beginner and to make mistakes. She's given me confidence. She's given me a push I needed. The things she (and all the other trainers that handled Franki) taught Franki how to follow a strong leader. Franki met like 15 different trainers in his time working at Unleash Fido and I was amazed with the videos sent to me! The work they did allowed me and my dog Franki to have a beautiful relationship. It has been truly life- changing to say the least. I would do it again in a heart beat. Here is some history on Franki and I... I rescued Franki about 2.5 years ago. At first he was timid and shy and very friendly. He met about 10 people within the first 2 months. As he started becoming himself his behaviors started to surface and I was having a hard time managing life and knowing how to help my boy. I went to 3 different trainers and spent thousands of dollars with no luck in helping me manage his reactivity or anxiety. I chose to keep Franki safe and not allow him to come in contact certain people or dogs. The main issue wasn't that he wasn't a good dog ( all dogs are good dogs!) it was I didn't know how lead him for what he needed and he in turn had no one he trusted to take care of him. I was an anxious mess. Walking him mean't lunging, barking, and growling was going to happen with people and dogs alike. I avoided introducing him to countless friends and family. None of the trainers helped me with my main concerns... but after a session with one trainer I was more confident in learning how to get Franki to walk better with me. I spent 6 months just walking up and down one street every single day after a trainer helped me learn how to teach heel (or just walk without pulling me). I used that time to also work on his obedience and progressively added in more difficult things. He and I started having better walks and he was more manageable! But then I moved. Once I changed environment he went right back to square one. I had mad anxiety even just opening up my front door and I knew I had to do something where it was more immersive and a well-trained dog trainer could help me understand my dog better, not to mention, get him consistent work in every day that I just didn't have time for. After 4 weeks and 6 days Franki was ready to come back home! I can't thank everyone at Unleash Fido enough because now I happily walk my boy (heel) and look forward to that time with him, he is so much calmer, he listens, is more obedient, he can walk past dogs and people without going wild, he knows how to run on a treadmill, and I trust having him meet new people with a process Macayla shared with me. The confidence this program has engrained in me and Franki is staggering. We still have work to do to overcome all of Frankis traumas but the progress in just 36 days was amazing. We are well on our way. All while still being the same fun-loving boy! I would be lying if I wasn't scared Franki would come home being a completely different dog and not having his personality anymore. But that's not the case at all. Franki is so much happier and he trusts me to lead him! Every day we are growing and progressing and he is doing great! I am so proud of my boy! As one final note... I wouldn't even walk Franki in to Unleash fido the intake day without telling them at the front to please make sure no people or dogs would come out. When I just went for his post graduate visit for Obedience boot camp, I finally wasn't full of anxiety and I confidently walking in with franks by my side, I passed 4 dogs and 5 people all while franks stayed by my side and trusted me to keep him safe. I MEAN REALLY!!!! SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!! Finally, I have now had 1 follow-up visits with Macayla. She always left me with great homework to help Franki and my relationship. She understands him and also makes me feel good about where I am. I can't thank you enough Macayla you and your team have changed our life!

Unleash Fido transformed our puppy back into the cute little ball of fur we loved! Travis, the owner and Carley, our trainer have changed our lives. Our adolescent puppy, Calliope was very fearful. This fear was expressed as aggression. She is the cutest miniature Schnoodle, who based on looks, could not hurt a stuffed toy. At 14 pounds, you'd think she could not terrify anyone. Around my wife and I, she has always been the sweetest smartest loving dog imaginable. Around everyone else, she was unholy horror unleashed. This Jekyll and Hyde routine got so bad that we considered giving her away. We loved her too much to do that and instead went through hell. Calliope would bark and lunge at strangers of either the dog or person variety. She would never get close enough to bite but put on a truly fearsome show to drive away what scared her, and at times it felt like everything scared her. We could not take her for a walk. We could not have guests over. We could not find a place that would board her. So we could not go on any trips. We tried every boarding option from posh pet hotels to vets, and all were calling us within an hour to come get her because they could not handle this 14-pound Tasmanian devil, which she became when we left her in a terrifying strange place. We tried vet behaviorists. We tried trainers. We tried positive reinforcement. We spent a ton of money on a doggie psychiatrist who was rated the best in the entire state, and drugs, lots of drugs. Calliope was on Prozac along with four other psychiatric drugs, some of which made her more aggressive. Over a ten-month period, we spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on psychiatric treatment and training, and everything failed. This cute little monster had taken control of our lives and not in a good way. In the middle of moving from Boca Raton to Jacksonville, we found Unleash Fido. Calliope spent 6 weeks with them over the summer while we moved. It was a minor miracle that they could board her for more than an hour, let alone work with her to resolve her fear issues. It was the best money we ever spent. We left Unleash Fido with our little Jekyll and Hyde and got back The Princess Bride. Calliope is now extremely happy, playful, and amazing. She is now so much more confident and walks with a prance. She no longer gets upset when the lawn crew or pool man comes by. She can walk by strangers and strange dogs without a care. She listens to every command. We are now in control instead of her. We dictate where, when, and how, and she listens. More importantly, she is thrilled to listen and obey. It gives her doggie pleasure to please us. It makes her relaxed and happy to have us in control at all times. If we tell her to go to place, she does so instantly. Her "place" is a small Persian rug. No matter the distraction, she will stay on her place for hours playing until we tell her she is free. After coming home from Unleash Fido summer camp, she has been weaned off the psychiatric pills. I suspect the pills were responsible for some of her stolen confidence, and confidence is what she needed, and confidence is what Unleash Fido gave her. She needed to lose the fear. At Unleash Fido, she made friends with a dozen strangers who worked there and countless stranger dogs. Before Unleash Fido, training was all praise and no correction. Part of the solution was both praise and correction in equal measure. I suppose the 100% lovey-dovey training that is in vogue now works for more docile or less bright dogs. It did not work for a genius puppy, which was half poodle and half schnauzer. Schnauzers are terriers, and that means they are strong-willed. Poodles are smart, almost too smart for their own good. So we have a 14-pound super-smart strong-willed puppy. The bottom line was that we were giving Calliope all praise, all the time, and not communicating "no" in a language she could understand, and turning her into a confused spoiled scared dog. She needed to hear and truly understand "no" as well as "good girl." This may sound simple, but it is far more complex than you can imagine. You need to figure out how to speak dog. We needed as much retraining as Calliope. Unleash Fido was worth every penny. If I had known the results would have been this life-changing, I would have paid twice as much! I only wish we found them sooner. As someone who has hired eight different trainers, not including the renown doggie psychiatrist, I can tell you that Unleash Fido is the absolute unchallengeable best. Sincerely, Kevin Bohacz kevinbohacz.com

Graduation Day for my Oliver from Puppy Boot Camp, he gets to come home. BIG THANK YOU to our trainer Sebastian.

I can happily and wholeheartedly strongly recommend this dog training business. Our trainer Sebastian was exactly what my 6 month old Dachshund Oliver needed. In 14 days he transformed this crazy dog who was nicknamed the terrorist into a well mannered well behaved puppy. The dog is now a pleasure to be around now and I love him a million times more than I did before. Our trainer Sebastian is very knowledgeable about dogs behavior and a professional at training them to behave as they should. He was able to train me as well with a couple of short very informative lessons to bring out the pleasant puppy behavior that I was unable to find on my own. So I'm a sense Sebastian trained us both in 14 (long but worth it) days. I can say enough good things about this experience for both me and my little man Oliver.

So glad we invested in this 5 week "doggie boot camp" --worth every penny. We knew our (1 year old) sweet, cuddly miniature Golden would make the perfect Therapy Dog, but we also knew he needed some manners. What a difference 5 weeks makes!! We certainly expected him to master a few basic commands while at boot camp--but his level of obedience far exceeded our expectations. Ashley did an amazing job! For example, he will "stay" until instructed to move--even when you taunt him with doggie treats (totally amazing). He "heals" perfectly and does great "off leash" in public places (he doesn't respond to other dogs and will sit still while strangers pet him). My son jogs several times a week and takes our pup along (off leash). He no longer jumps on visitors, whines, jumps on furniture, or chews on slippers. It is so enjoyable to have such a sweet dog that actually listens too.

I took both of my young puppies here. They had a lot of trouble walking on leashes. I felt like I was the one being walked. I put them in the puppy boot camp program and Mikayla was our trainer. She did such a great job with my boys. She always sent updates early in the day with several pictures and videos of their progress. I couldn't be more thankful for her help and this facility. My boys have made such great improvements!

This is the 3rd time I've used the services of Unleash Fido for our 3rd dog. I would not be able to have even one dog if it wasn't for Travis, the owner, and excellent staff. This time our Australian Mountain Doodle was trained by Sebastian. Our pup was so happy at training he came home so much better behaved. He stopped nipping and jumping up on us.

We needed to board the dogs for a night while we were in town and they were a great with accommodating both our huskies. The facilities are really nice and both the dogs were well taken care of, especially the puppy who needed a little extra attention because he had just gotten neutered. They are also more flexible with the pick up and drop off times and sent me pictures of them during their stay. If we ever need to board in Jax, we would definitely use them again without any hesitation.

    During training

I could not recommend Unleash Fido enough!! We have a HIGH energy, giant - hound/amstaff mix. He went for the boot camp and has learned so many new things, is more well behaved and just listens much easier - without struggle. He learned to heel, not to pull on the leash, how to nicely interact with other pups, how to calm down. The best part is that when they go through the boot camp, if you need boarding services after they are done, they do a refresher course with your pup during the boarding (which is very helpful when you have a short-attention span pup).

Melissa really listened to what I wanted, what my dog needed, and tailored every session to what would work best for US - not following the same script and steps that everyone gets. I went in hesitant about the training methods but am now more educated than I anticipated; I know more about training, I know more about my dog, and I even know more about myself. It was also a lot of fun!! My dog and I both looked forward to our sessions and it helped us bond a lot. There were quite a few scheduling issues, which was not a huge deal for me, but it was inconvenient at times since I have to drive a bit to get to the facility. Regardless, I will 100% be saving up for another 6 week program!
