As my husband's review stated, we canceled an upcoming reservation mostly based on the fact that we felt uncomfortable leaving our dog there. Our dog has been to four other facilities in Atlanta with no issues or problems. We move down here and all of a sudden our dog has issues that "professionals" can't handle without our help. Understood. We were verbally instructed to provide PRESCRIBED calming chews for our dog's anxiety when he is put in the kennel. Got it. I asked if OTC calming chews can be tried first & if they will suffice for the first weekend as it would take some time to get the prescribed calming chews and our dog doesn't usually need these. They agreed to try the OTC chews & I was told to label the bags (that includes his food). Now... before having unpacked our dog's bag and knowing what we know now... they told my husband upon pick up that they recommend our dog going there for one hour a day for a few days to ease his anxiety because he had a hard time at night and that he can come for daycare (without the calming treats). I agreed... great idea! So I call them myself so I can make a reservation to do so the next day. What do I get told? That he cannot come back without the PRESCRIBED calming chews. At this point we just said forget it, we'll cancel our dog going there at all because we're bothered about them telling us two different things. I call to cancel, a man answered and asked the reason -which I shared- & he responded with 'I will let my manager know so all that needs to be done to process your refund will be done.' Now, after coming back home and unpacking the bag we sent our dog to this place with, we see two bags of food left over & both bags of calming treats full and untouched. Naturally, we're upset by this. Why? 1. There was zero communication upon pick up of whether our dog finished all the food or not. 2. We were told that the calming treats did not work AT ALL. I didn't receive an email confirmation that my reservation was canceled so I wanted to be SURE that it was being processed. That being said, I tried to call twice. No answer. My husband calls, leaves a voicemail because of course it was after business hours so no one answered. At this point, my husband is fuming. He decided to write his Google review as he is well within his rights to do so. What do you know... after 30 minutes of the review being posted we get a call back. My husband asks clarifying questions about what we're upset about: the extra food & the calming chews. What were we met with? Rudeness. Now, this is where I won't leave this be because I'm baffled at how the owner (male) spoke to us. I'm glad there is footage of them attempting to feed our dog... wonderful. Reason 1, debunked. Reason 2?! The calming treats?! The man said he didn't try to give them any other time because it was not on the profile - that's an item they should've updated on their end since it was THEIR ask for us to provide them. Instead, the dude complained about our dog keeping him up for 8 hours... which they charged us a surprise fee for him having to "calm" our dog down after said 8 hours :| when there were treats provided for that very reason that they asked for............ This man said that clearly I'm only upset for not getting my way... I'm absolutely unsure what my way is that I didn't get(?) but go off lol. He also said "why doesn't your dog just go to one of four facilities then"... whew. When I said I can appreciate him defending himself and that's no longer a concern, that I would just like to confirm the cancellation of the reservation and the refund is being processed - the OWNER of this place said to me that he won't tell us that information until we delete our Google review. LOL! Trying to bully my husband and/or me into deleting a review of our experience is crazy work. 10/10 don't recommend... don't be fooled by how cute their facility is. Such a shame.

Both were always happy going in and going out! We trusted Octavio and staff with Daycare, Boarding and Grooming. They are the absolute best!!! Now we have two new standard Poodles Dillweed and Nutmeg and they absolutely love it there! They go to daycare a couple of days a week, grooming when needed and boarding. I am so happy to have found you!…read more I recently went on a week-long vacation out of the country and while I usually leave my two cats with family, most of my family also happened to be out of town so for the first time in having my cats for 11 years, I had to look for somewhere to board my cats. My cats have never been boarded, they have always been with my or family or a very close friend who was a vet tech so I was very apprehensive to leave my cats with strangers. My cats are also 11 and 12 years old so this was going to be new to them which made me even more apprehensive. I really did not want them in cages and kennels for 9 days! I saw The Waggin Trail Express advertised on Groupon so I gave them a call to see what they were about. Becky answered the call quickly and was able to answer my multitude of questions which really helped me put my mind at ease. Instead of buying the Groupon I ended up going through Becky and she was sweet enough to give the current special as well as offer to transport my cats for me. When she got off the phone, she emailed me some forms and authorizations which I was able to fill out. She also sent me the link to make the reservation. On the day of my trip, I loaded up my kitties along with some of their favorite items such as their favorite food, treats, blankets and toy. I got to the property/Kitty Kottage and Joel immediately met me at the door and helped me bring in my cats and their belongings. He showed me the cat room, showed me the setup and stayed in the room while we let the cats out of their carriers to roam and investigate the new surroundings. Joel was really great with putting my mind at ease and when I left, I felt my cats were in good hands. Each cat gets their own little house so they have their own space to sleep in and go to when they aren't roaming or playing. I fell in love with the little houses and think my cats did too. Joel was great and when he found I had cell service abroad, he sent me many pictures of my kitties. They also post pictures of their current residents on their Facebook page. When I got back 9 days later, my girls were great. I don't know if they just loved it there so much or if they were mad at me for leaving but they didn't want to leave their little houses! Joel helped me carry all of my kitties belongings to my car and made the pack up of their stuff very easy. Thank you so much to Beck and Joel for taking such good care of my girls! If I am leaving again and my family can't watch them, you are first on my list! Just an FYI, there are two properties for the Waggin Trail Express. The cats and dogs are not house together so the dogs are in once residence and the cats are held in the other. This was really great and probably makes settling for the cats much easier.

It is way over priced $200 a month are you kidding me $15 for the hour you spend with your dog there per day. The humane society is supposed to represent the community and be supplemental in cost it should be donations only. Each time I drop Cleo off, we take a moment to go over what I want done with Cleo during this grooming and they deliver each time. Sometimes Cleo comes in mid-groom time just for a bath and nail trim because it's hard to groom a poodle. Cleo has never acted traumatized or upset when I pick her up, nor does she act like she does not want to stay when I leave her. This tells me that all is good here and the animals are treated like family. When I come to pick up Cleo, there always seems to be a little pooch getting all couiffed/beautified on the table and the pooch seems so happy, no panting or anxiety. They must be piping in some doggie classical music because it's doggie chillaxing at this spariffic place. They definitely have Cleo's paw of approval!
