Later in the day a 2 other stores submitted quotes as well. The following day I received a follow up message from Technics offering no charge for removal and no tax on installation, I couldn't refuse such an offer. I drove over once the roads cleared and had the tint removed and new tint applied. They charged what they quoted, no haggling, nothing but great customer service at a great cost. I got my car windows tinted two days later. Now, I was looking for a good quality tint, that would not bubble or fade with time but I was also looking for someone knowledgeable. The back windows have the original manufacturers privacy glass & I didn't want a huge noticeable grade variation between my back and front windows. Gavin was great! As soon as I walked in, he showed me the different Tint grading, demonstrated the heat variation between the level of tints they offer, he listened to my concerns & what my expectations were. Then I personally saw him take extra measures to calculate the rating on my existing privacy glass vs the tint I had picked for the front to achieve a consistent look & grade throughout my entire vehicle. Their tint has a lifetime warranty & I was told that if I replace a window, they will replace the tint, so you're definitely getting the most value for your money & your tint will be covered for as long as you own your vehicle. He gave me a quote over the phone based on the measurements I provided and the photos I sent via text. It took two guys about 5 hours to do 14 large windows. The pricing was very reasonable.
