Of course wildlife isn't there simply to perform for humans. It's unreasonable to expect any guide to guarantee what or how many species you'll see on a tour. That said, Captain Barry diligently sought out delightful experiences with local wildlife. He found us dolphins hunting fish near bridges and the lock. Manatees foraging on the edges of the canal. Pelicans 'dive-bombing' for fish; herons and more. We also got additional information about local history and the port. The 4-6 person boat is clean, comfortable and well captained. The next day, we sailed to the edge of restricted Kennedy Space Center waters, and watched SpaceX launch a rocket deploying satellites into space. We'd seen a rocket launch last year at the Kennedy Space Center, on the main grounds. This Launch Tour was a MUCH better way to watch. SO much more comfortable and a much better view. After the launch, we expected to go right back to the dock, but Capt. Barry took the time to seek out more dolphins. They came much closer to the boat today than yesterday. So gorgeous. We saw many manatees and dolphins around the locks. Had a little delay getting back thru the lock but he handled it beautifully and continued the tour thru the delay. AND THEN we ran into a huge pod of dolphins. It was so fun to watch them breach and play. I'd recommend this tour to anyone. Outside of a few Trivia events adults don't have much to do. Pros: -Top quality entertainers from Vegas, West End and Broadway - immaculately clean - fitness center has nice equipment including Peleton - characters are accessible ... much better than the Disney parks. - movie theaters on board show new releases - because most kids go to bed early stateroom neighbor noise is minimal. - the private island stop in the Bahamas was breathtaking and perfect - the mariachi in the Coco restaurant was really nice . - firework show - the Incredibles race track - bingo was entertaining Cons: -Staterooms do not have twin bed options so cabin mates have to share a bed. If under 5'10" the sofa bed is an option. - outside of evening shows, not much for adults to do. Quite a few grandparents were abandoned. (The irony is many of them were footing the bill.) - dining rooms cramped... felt like a cafeteria. - you cannot eat in peace as the themed dining rooms are non-stop entertainment for the kids. - this is my first cruise I didn't make any new friends. Most people just talk to their own family units. They were polite in elevators but no cross talking anywhere. "Stranger Danger" - definitely not suited for the LGBTQ demographic - pools all very tiny and not really able to swim just cool off. -outside of trivia ... no Star Wars representation. I left the shipped very relaxed and happy to have shared a nice week with the extended family. I doubt I will try another ship as I don't have children so I'm not their target customer.

I wish I could comment on the food, but this was the first time I've ever got seasick . For the first few days it was excellent though, especially brunch at Palo Steakhouse. Even though I was under the weather, I was able to rest well onboard. I will say though that as much as I enjoyed dining in the various restaurants, I felt for the cast members because it seemed so tight for them to quickly move back and forth. It wasn't as conducive for conversation with the servers like we were able to on other ships. (I'll admit I'm especially fond of the Wonder and Magic.) It was pretty cool to pull into port and see the newest ship, the Disney Destiny, right next to us. Hopefully we will try that ship too. Don't forget to order Disney Mickey ice cream bars from room service, the true hidden Mickey/secret menu item.

I surprised my husband for his birthday and he enjoyed it so much , he said it was the highlight of his day. Our kids are already planning our next trip. They said they loved Mike and Jody so much they wanted to go to the zoo with them one day. Lol. We saw Dolphins, manatees, puffer fish, an alligator, pelicans, and herons. We saw so many Dolphin while we were on the sandbar and sting rays too. He knows so much about the water and area and even gets in the water with you! We had a great time with him and even booked again the same evening to go back out and watch the Falcon 9 launch. That was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend this if there is a launch when you are visiting the area. The boat is very clean, well maintained and a super smooth ride. We could have stayed out there all day with him.

When we finished the tour he offered a perfect place for lunch which we did explore and loved. Just an all around great guide and good guy. You can't go wrong with this private tour.
