Of course wildlife isn't there simply to perform for humans. It's unreasonable to expect any guide to guarantee what or how many species you'll see on a tour. That said, Captain Barry diligently sought out delightful experiences with local wildlife. He found us dolphins hunting fish near bridges and the lock. Manatees foraging on the edges of the canal. Pelicans 'dive-bombing' for fish; herons and more. We also got additional information about local history and the port. The 4-6 person boat is clean, comfortable and well captained. The next day, we sailed to the edge of restricted Kennedy Space Center waters, and watched SpaceX launch a rocket deploying satellites into space. We'd seen a rocket launch last year at the Kennedy Space Center, on the main grounds. This Launch Tour was a MUCH better way to watch. SO much more comfortable and a much better view. After the launch, we expected to go right back to the dock, but Capt. Barry took the time to seek out more dolphins. They came much closer to the boat today than yesterday. So gorgeous. We spent over $500 for everyone to attend. We were booked for a Wednesday, but an hour before the scheduled departure, we received a call informing us that we needed to reschedule due to inclement weather. The next day, someone in my group called earlier to confirm our reservation, but it was once again moved to the following day due to high winds. On the supposed-to-be day of the trip, we took an Uber to the business at the scheduled departure time only to find that no one was there. There was a note on the door stating that they were closed again due to winds. We didn't receive any calls or texts from the business informing us that they wouldn't be operating that day. After booking another Uber and returning to our Airbnb, we tried contacting the person we had been talking to and other forms of communication listed on the company website. Hours later, we finally received a text stating that we wouldn't receive a refund but would instead receive a credit for a future visit. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and outright disrespect for us as customers is deeply concerning and hard to understand. They took our money and ran with it. I highly recommend not using this business or giving them any of your money.
